Incredible heli flying. I once meet a chopper pilot in Original Arma in KOTH who goes by Squid who was paralyzed quadrapeligic during basic training and spends his now days playing pc games. He only could use his thumbs mainly but god damn was his heli piloting possibly even better than this.

oh my god dude the lag was so annoying and you knew that shit was gonna hit the ground cause you had about a split second of gap between that snap back maneuver either failing or succeeding based on how fast the chopper was able to reduce speed. The chinook was a flexible BBW I had so much fun in invade and annex games in arma 3 exploiting different mods that had OP weapons lol. I used to strap an IED on myself and paradrop into combat. Well, I never activated the parachute so right before I hit the ground id set off the IED and I literally became a human missile. A lot more fun was had by way of placing C4 on the drones and using them as kamakazis. apologize but I was the reason TAW and the other servers nerfed arty support from arma 2 onwards, cause them damn A10 pilots would log in later in the day and were pissing me off everytime they'd clear the enemies before anyone could drop in. Nobody had actually realized the overpowered nature of having artillery at the spawn before, and I would just shell the shit out of the AO with it.
Good stuff, dude. I used to do a lot of heli flying for Invade & Annex in Arma3. Miss it. Need to get on Reforger and show these young bucks what's up haha

But first he gives himself upwards momentum, does the spin 180 that drops the heli like a stone, but quite a few meters (Im judigng 5-10) the heli have already turned back in upright and rotors counters the downward momentum from the unpowered fall? Arma helicopter videos are always cool, loved to leave dyslexcy videos just running aside or fall asleep to. :D Long time since i played and have flown.
I miss the large maps and need for transports in modern games, my favorite was Joint Operations, where pilots got score for how well passengers did for a while after leaving the helicopter. And how you could transport tanks on ferries, or jeeps in the larger helicopters, or had to sit on the bed of lorries for several minutes, or racing rubber rafts up rivers...
If I played Arma, I think I would work very hard at being a skilled Heli or Cargo pilot as I have done in other games. These things are often overlooked yet valuable contributions to game play and as an older man I tend to gravitate towards contributing at a fundamental level.
One of my uncles was in the Vietnam never would talk about what he seen or did over there and would tell you to drop the topic. My grandpa on the other hand was in the Army during World War II and Korean War. He did talk about stuff and even let me hold his M1 Garand rifle when I was an adult of course and before his passing. I remember plenty of times going to grandpa's house and while growing up there was a big glass case. Inside was all sorts of World War II stuff including a M2 Mortar with two rounds right by it I'm sure it was deactivated. I remember long before that family member passed away and my dad got some of his things. Once my dad got home with the stuff and went through it all ended up finding a live Anti-Tank round. My dad ended up handing that Anti-Tank round over to the local police. I was not there when he handed it over I wonder what was going through the policer's mind when my dad handed it over.

I dont play the game cause im waiting for Arma4 but thats pretty satisfying to watch seeing 2 pilots fly in sync on about eqaul levels of skill :D i used to play Squad and most of the time did piloting and i can see the effort in that maneuvre. Takes some time to master. ALSO..... the others always appreciate a good pilot.. tho if you crash only once it can get toxic quite easily and fast as well xD
