Way too „cheap“ for their high quality in terms of construction and craftsmanship! They have the same quality as the more established watch companies. Only difference is that they use less complications in their watches.
Nomos watches look awesome. Their Tangomat GMT & Worldtimer offerings are the only ones I've seen pull off such a complication with superb simplicity and elegance. And you get a display back and a fully decorated movement into the bargain making them a lot of watch for the money. Nomos Tangomat GMT or Worldtimer are very, very high on my list of desired watches.
I'm saving up to buy a NOMOS but I can't determine between Tangente and Ludwig! Everybody seems to love Tangente or Orion, but the Roman numerals on Ludwig just look so elegant and classic to me!
I am itching to buy a Ludwig after having a Club for two years. The Roman numerals have a timeless elegance, and I love it paired with the railway tracks. Very sophisticated and artistic looking.
I have an Orion arriving today. Spent a couple of years considering a Nomos but needed to try one on. There isn’t an abundance of AD’s near me but came across on during a weekend break in Edinburgh. On the wrist the watch was even better than expected so an order was placed.
Das ist es, was ich an den Deutschen mag. Grüße aus der Ukraine! Ich werde auf jeden Fall etwas von Neomatic kaufen, wenn ich die Gelegenheit dazu habe.
I am planning to get a club, To the people that has already bought one how easy is it for people to mistake it as a DW and those fashion watches Just to just myself mentally prepared
Just show them the caseback, or simply enjoy the subtle character of your time piece and appreciate its value without worrying about what any other person thinks, most of people are ignorants about horology so....don't bother and be happy
Just astonishing to get this kind of quality and detail at this price point. Costly? Yes, but a cost you can take pride in rather than contemplating a 2nd mortgage.
They make watches for insects though, not human beings, I need an electron microscope to find my 38.5 mm Nomos or to tell time. I'm more comfortable with 44, 46 mm watches
Wonderful profile, thanks. Brilliant German design from a once-great and now great again manufactory in formerly East Germany. Colors appropriate for SF Giants fans, too! ;-) Only nit-for me-is pale tan band; as a caucasian, I prefer something with greater contrast, and not too close to "skin tone." But easily addressed.
+Ian Hand probably true in terms of their general design theme but not when you looks more closely at the individual elements on the different designs.
Just cant bring myself to like this brand. Some of the watches are really nice but an east German watch company who looks for inspiration in watch catalogues and employs guys with beards and beanies... I just cant do it.
Do not buy NOMOS. I bought two when they were just getting started in 2000. I liked them that much. All were manual winding. I absolutely adored them. One by one, the winding mechanisms broke down. I contacted the factory and all I got from them was an address and contact information for an American company. I contacted them and they wanted $300 just to review it. $300?????? I paid $500 for the watch! Don't waste your money. They have become pricey to a ridiculous point but the main thing is that the manufacturers don't stand behind their product. No support. No cooperation.
Yves Azurdia Total rubbish, they didn’t even start in the 2000’s they started in the early 90’s and there customer service is excellent far better and more responsive than many large Swiss brands.
Stop lying there was no Nomos model ever for 500$. I owm many watches including A. Lange, Richard Mille, AP, Patek, Hublot and also two NOMOS. Their quality is absolutely unmatched especially for the price. Of course their mechanics aren't as impressive as an A. Lange but and A. Lange also costs as much as a house while NOMOS is really affordable and honestly built like a tank. You either bought a lookalike, threw your watch against a wall, or you're lying.
Nomos is a very likeable brand. I'm proud to own a watch of this German manufacturer.
Ach hallo die kenn ich ja
im so envious :/
which model do you own?
I love the Nomos design. And their pricing is absolutely bang on.

I think the Ludwig looks fantastic! One of my favourite Nomos, and I'd pick it ahead of the other two personally
You should buy what speaks to you, don’t worry about what other people like.
@@RyanZNO Best advice you could ever give👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Same here bro

The last watch with the champagne dial is beautiful!! I personally would like it without the orange and on a darker brown leather strap.
This only makes my want stronger, my next piece is planned to be either a tangente or tetra.
I just picked up a tangente. extremely handsome watch. I love it
I love my black NOMOS Tetra Gangreserve ... simply beautiful!
A now lets go and visit Daniel Wellington's factory...
It’s in the basement of a tuna can factory off the coast of Hunan

Got to love Google popping an ad for a cheap quartz replica under the video. Yeesh.

Ich liebe Nomos, die schönste Uhr aller Zeiten.
Glashütte Original is good too..
That's one interesting video for me since I own such a Neomatik with the champagne dial. 🙂
Great watch and brand, and very compelling price point. will be my next purchase
My next watch. It gets exhausting trying to choose from the usual favorites. A nice small artsy Nomos.
still using mine for traveling :D
Thank you for the report. Thumb up!
This was so satisfying.
Thank you Hodinkee
BRASIL CONGRATULATIONS NOMOS GERMANY WATCHES
Fabulous - and beautiful. Thanks.
Great, another watch on my wish list!
Bitte Nomos, verkürzt die Länge der Hörner ! Ich würde ohne zu zögern zuschlagen

wonderful.

Sean Coleman You can select the strap when you buy a Nomos. Brown cordovan is the best.
Bravo.
Imo, their watches need more complications
LINDO ê ÓTIMO RELÓGIO, BRASIL OK.
Interesting.
just don't show nomos the video that are chi did lol
Why the officers need to wear like doctors?
Too handsome
Intesesting video but all Nomos watches are too similar to each other.
+Ian Hand probably true in terms of their general design theme but not when you looks more closely at the individual elements on the different designs.
...Rolex...
Saw them in the shop, not my scene.Too small, thin and delicate looking, and I don't like the shade of white.Fine watches all the same.
I love their watches but wish they had radically different looking watch selection. All the models look 90% the same
please produce 2-5k usd flying tourbillion, chinise watchmakers doing this, we want tourbillions
ferw swer you should buy a Chinese* one then.
I still want a Nomos, but I'm afraid this video is boring as hell.
Tbh..Nomos reminds me of glorified swatches. I just cant take them seriously.
Why not?
Odd looking watches means few takers. DW does it better. No ones going to see the movement unless you force them to.
@A. B. do you dress up when youre alone?
@Ali Alexander lol urself
you gotta be high on rich designer drugs to buy this, nomos ought to be no mo!
OG Wavy sorry, what's the problem with Nomos?

+V Cccc Inspiration and design is harder than it seems. Besides, they're more well known and respected than you.
yea because i'm a watch company. idiotic comment.
you're one to talk.
+V Cccc I agree. I can't get past the idea of this brand being a fashion brand as opposed to a company dedicated to watch making itself...
@@eggymaticremit they make their own movements... that's the opposite... a watch brand with some fashion sense.
