This video was recommended to me on my home page. Never heard of you before. I’m very impressed by the whole video. You were very thorough, in-depth, and very descriptive with everything. Excellent video. Great job. Now I’m going to go down the rabbit hole and watch more of your stuff. Keep up the great work! 👍🥰👏🏼
Omg two Mei Mei videos!! Yay!! Cant wait because I just went to costco and couldnt commit to any of the new asian foods!! So excited to see your review! On a sidenote, I'd really love to make the mango sago for my grandmas 96th bday!! Could you share the mango milk brand you used? Thank youuu!!!
Your makeup is so flawless! You look beautiful 🤗 I love your videos, they’re so comforting and (bird voice) fun to watch haha Ps. Hope your moms been recovering well! ❤ Sending good energy her way
I LOVE those prawn hacao! I've bought them at least 4 times now 😂 I agree about the sauce, it's a strange flavor profile and I usually end up tossing it lol. I recommend dipping into a mixture of soy sauce, sugar, and chili crisp; it's my go-to dim sum dipping sauce and it's SO good with the hacao 😋
really?!?! that's so surprising! sometimes things are only at costco for a limited time too so if you don't go during that window then they might not have it 😭 I hope some of these items come to your costco soon though!! ❤
People don't know. But in Bay Area, the classic Middle School Party is Pizza (I prefer Little Cesar's, but Costco Pizza worked) and Eggrolls (in my area, the go to will always be King Eggroll). It sounds like a weird combo, but 30 years later, It's still a comfort food combo for me haha.
In Los Angeles, any school pizza party involved Little Caesar's pizza too. They used to male the party size but in my small town, they don't have the party size
Love your sweet voice and real real reviews. ❤❤❤gotta try that Lees Iced coffee. We have a Lees nearby, but I have yet to visit. I’m right there with you w/sensitive teeth. My dentist really helped me out by fixing the root cause.
My family doesn't shop at Costco(we're Sam's Club shoppers) but I like watching these videos. We bought a bottle of Lee's coffee to try at an Asian store we don't shop at very often. We thought it was delicious! I love those fish ice cream! We have them at our Hmart. Red bean's my favorite! I wish Sam's club carried more Asian items 😅
I purchased the Chicken Katsu at Costco a year ago and wasn't impressed either. It is just sous video chicken breast that you dredge and coat. If you read the dredge ingredients, it's powdered milk & eggs. The breading is panko and regular bread crumbs. I'd rather purchase the new kirkland lightly breaded chicken chunks and a bottle of kikkoman katsu sauce.
So many Asian snacks at your Costco. I’m jealous. The most Asian things we have at Novato Costco are the most mainstream right now, like Buldak carbonara ramen and kimbap. The Costco in El Cerrito has the lumpia. Those are good, but I want more, especially the samanco/tayaki and Korean puffs.
I didn’t get the katsu because I read the instructions and thought it had too many steps. 😅😂 I’d rather order it at a restaurant! Thanks for the video.
Samanco is my favorite to get from the Korean supermaket. haha I like the original with the layer of red bean though. The outside wafer part is kinda like the outside shell of monaka, which I also like. lol
Great video!! Do you have any Home Goods stores in the Bay area? I have to say that every time I go to Home Goods I have noticed that they have upped their Asian food section! They have dozens of Boba drink options and new snacks every time I go. I love the Seaweed Snax brand that they are stocking there! Highly recommend you try it out for a possible food tasting!! Luv you, luv your channel!! Hi Bird, nice cameo!
You’re lucky to have all those Asian products @ your Costco. The Costco here in Cleveland had the pork lumpia a year ago & have not brought it back. Those were so delicious & was so easy to have on hand but sadly Costco hasn’t brought it back😢.
Ooooo i hope my costco gets the Vietnamese coffee. I like the spring rolls ive gotten from costco before, i eat them with duck sauce packets though. Really hope we get that kimbap too, love the trader joes one. The prawn hacao is great, agree the sauce isnt great (i eat them plain). The chicken katsu im surprised wasnt suggested to bread and fry twice. Might try it so i can more easily make some with the japanese curry cubes i have
Girl which Costco has all these amazing goodies!? The one in Concord has a pretty lackluster selection and I’d love to visit another Costco in the Bay, please do tell!! Thank you so much for yet another video and all your hard work
Oh I just watched a video for Bird and you❣️ Happiness: The Secret of Scandinavian Happiness. Max Joseph (LEGO Heaven just for the two of you and your smile and two of your love for each other equals happy people). Video just reminded me of y’all ❣️💕💕
Hello Mei Mei! I am a huge fan of your videos. :) My wife and children watch them all the time and they also love to share them with me. I am taking my daughter to Universal Studios in LA for her sixth birthday, and I was wondering if you know any way to get discounts or deals on a one day trip there. Please, if you have any advice, my wife and I would love it. Thank you!
Ohh so I’m not alone. 😂 I had the same reaction when I had the hacao shrimp with its sauce. It’s like wait what. Let me try again and what the heck lol. The sauce does taste weird but the dumplings are good.
so glad i watched this because i saw that katsu in costco and it was calling to me... glad i didn't buy bc i'd haaaate to buy a 'pre-made meal' that i had to coat and fry myself! love fried food but ugh the mess and fuss of frying it myself :(
My Costco has most of those. The only option for gimbap was the tofu one and I’d much rather tuna! Also’ about a year ago I bought the chicken katsu and did NOT expect to have to bread it myself. It was pretty good, but I won’t buy it again. I could make my own and it would be easier and taste better! lol.

I love the Samanco ice cream fish. Actually, my favorite is the matcha and red bean one.
Costco pizza with Chinese takeout egg rolls is the best childhood birthday meal! Mama knows what's up 🍕🥡
That sounds like a fun combination! 🤤
I am obsessed with your costco videos! 😍🙌💕
🎉🎉🎉🎉so much content!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉thank you! You’re working hard!
When you posted this video, we were literally at Costco 😂 I grabbed the Kimbap last month and was so excited!! I wish they carried it more often.
It doesn't taste good. 😬
I LOVE the prawn hagao, WITHOUT the sauce HAHA. i just use soy sauce + chili oil. So delish!!!
I agree! The sauce does not pair well with the prawn Hagao!
Agree. I hate that sauce with cinnamon. I used soy sauce with sesame oil.
Every time she has Bird try something, I will say, out loud, "Give to Bird!" 🤣
So hypeeee for a new video!!!
YAYYY hehe hope u enjoy 🥰🥰
I love the bowls you used for the sauces that came with the stuff
Please do more of this type of videos. ❤
The Costco here in Seattle has so few Asian options. When I watch your videos I show my mom and she keeps saying that they don't have it at Costco 😭
really?!?! that's so surprising! sometimes things are only at costco for a limited time too so if you don't go during that window then they might not have it 😭 I hope some of these items come to your costco soon though!! ❤
𝙸 𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚗 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚊 𝙲𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚌𝚘 😭
South Seattle (by the SeaTac area) Costco definitely have more Asian option than others, if you haven’t check it out yet!
Federal Way, Lynnwood, and Redmond Costco may have more Asian items as well!
its that bay area privilegeeee 😭😭😭
Trader joes released some kimbap recently, it was surprisingly tasty! Would recommend it if you do another joe’s video 💛🫶
I Miss so much costco vids😭❤️
That lumpia is sooooo good!! 😋🥰😋
I felt the same way about the sauce. I use a rice vinegar, soy sauce and sesame oil sauce. So much better!!
OMG I was needing to watch somthing while i had ramen Im so happy you uploaded
haha perfect timing!!! hope u enjoy 🥰🥰
The sweet and spicy puffs are SO good and addicting 🤤
I agree about the shrimp dumplings, I hated the sauce and actually threw it out, but the dumplings are good. I did it with soy and chili oil

I enjoyed this video as I’m always weary of buying products from Costco that try to recreate Asian foods. Thanks!

You’re lucky to have all those Asian products @ your Costco. The Costco here in Cleveland had the pork lumpia a year ago & have not brought it back. Those were so delicious & was so easy to have on hand but sadly Costco hasn’t brought it back😢.

Ugh!!! I'm SOOOOO jealous! 😮💨😢
I have the same air fryer. How do you like yours?
Oh I remember some of these from your vlog !
Where I live we don't have a Costco, we have a Sam's club instead so I really enjoy these videos
I love these videos even though my Costco never has 80% of the items.
I’m in Vietnam right now, drinking iced coffee. 🤪
HAHA omg you're having the real thing!! i'm jealous!!
That's such a good deal for the coffee! We buy a box of 24 where I live for $130 so it comes out to almost $6 a bottle. Soooo good though.
Yes I like Hacao most Costco don’t have it
Oh I just watched a video for Bird and you❣️ Happiness: The Secret of Scandinavian Happiness. Max Joseph (LEGO Heaven just for the two of you and your smile and two of your love for each other equals happy people). Video just reminded me of y’all ❣️💕💕
