“With or Without You” & “One” are my favourites...Bono was a rather sexy individual in his hey day...his voice is undeniably authentic, and emotive. Nice one! You’re one of the few reactors who “get” U2! 👏🏻👏🏻
This song is from one of the greatest rock albums ("The Joshua Tree") of all time. Nearly every track on this album is fantastic! I saw them in concert in 1987 (Bruce Springsteen played one song on stage with them). There were over 90,000 people in the stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA and it was just an incredible, unbelievable concert. Their follow-up album "Rattle and Hum" is also incredible!
I missed being in this video by minutes. I was working at the pioneer club and watched them spray down Fremont street and I knew they were filming something but thought it was another car commercial. If I’d only known.
Great pick bros ! Joshua Tree songs are all bangers. This video was well done too, but even better is their Official one for “Where The Streets Have No Name” (59M views, but probably gets blocked). Watching the band set up on a liquor store roof in downtown LA and surprise the public with great rock is priceless !!
There's such a power to their music, and the guitar strumming of The Edge seems to give everything a certain urgency. Totally unique sound. You really need to check out "One" by them if you haven't already.
once you hear this bit of magical song it is one of those that will always bbe in your head the rest of your life one of those classics good pick, young ones....
One of their more impressive songs somewhat in the same vein as this one is "All I Want Is You" and it's one you simply MUST hear. It's a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ song all the way!!
Loved your reaction to Revolution on Patreon, guys, you can never go wrong with The Beatles! So, great song from U2, other favourites are Vertigo, Pride (In the Name of Love) and Where the Streets Have No Name, to name but three. Another favourite, which you've already reacted to, is With or Without You - love that one! Thanks so much for your reaction, guys, take care now. 😊
Please please please do All I Want Is You/Streeter Have No Name live from Slane Castle and One Tree Hill (Rattle and Hum out-takes) next. You will love them a thousand times more guaranteed!
Putri ariani cover i still havent found what i am looking for on agt semi final. Also she got golden buzzer from simon cowel on audition.her final she sang dont let the sun go down on me
This is a prime example of why I try to stress so hard to the reactors I watch how important it is to watch the video of songs !! I love this song, it's a great song yet the video just makes it so much more !! All the music from the era was made during MTV's golden age, a bands new song release was only part of it...it mattered so much the video that came with it !!
Shot in the wee hours of the morning, before they became super-famous. A few of the people on the street knew them in Vegas, most did not and it shows in their reactions.
Great choice Guys but you need to react to U2 live that's how everyone judges them because they are regarded as one of if not the Greatest live Bands of all time "
Beautiful songs by them: Bad, All I Want is You, The First Time Everything off Joshua Tree is amazing, but I particularly love Running to Stand Still and Exit. Their anti-war songs off of the War album -- New Year's Day (about Poland's Solidarity movement), Seconds and Sunday Bloody Sunday (about the Troubles in Ireland) Achtung Baby: Listen to the album through, but individual tracks are fantastic. I think you already listened to One; after that Ultraviolet, Acrobat, Love is Blindness, Mysterious Ways Other songs: God Part II, Pride, Angel of Harlem, Desire Also, I think their unique style stems a lot from The Edge's playing. There is an interesting documentary called It Might Get Loud about The Edge, Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) and Jack White (White Stripes) that talks about all of their playing styles and influences. It was on UA-cam as a free movie not too long ago. I don't know if it still is and if you can see the same things in Georgia, but it is worth a look if you can.
This song came from their 1997 album “The Joshua Tree” When it came out, I knew instantly they were great. This is such quintessential early U2. Absolutely EVERYTHING on this album is insane. Check out “Where the Streets Have New Name” (and if you can, react to their rooftop performance in Los Angeles. It’s epic. Also, check out “Red Hill Town”. It will give you chills! Promise!!!
Check out U2 at live aid, " Bad" & " sunday bloody sunday" ..Great performances quite early in their career..so many amazing acts and performances at Live Aid 👍👍👍
U2. Great band! I still haven´t found what I´m looking for. For me (U2 Top 6 song) Another great song you needs reacts to. U2 - Even better than the real thing (Live) 💯👍
Joshua Tree is U2's best album followed closely by War. Joshua Tree has a semi-spiritual feel to it, which I love. It's a somewhat rare emotion in rock music.
Their albums didn't come any better than The Joshua Tree, Running to Standstill, In God's Country, The Steets Have No Name, just a few of the great tracks.
Guys, maybe it's time to move on to some live version of U2: "Bad" performed at Live Aid or, if you want the more rock aspect of the band, check out "Bullet the blue sky" live in Paris 2015 ( ua-cam.com/video/XIVUfSJGam4/v-deo.html ). You will not regret it!
Treat yourself to a listen of. It is from their ~2000 album All You Can’t Leave Behind which has many great songs. There is an excellent concert video Elevation 2001-Live from Boston which featured the above album plus a lot of their older songs.
My favorite part of this song is the earnestness, culminating in these lyrics...saying even after finding belief in God/Jesus saving the world thru Jesus, he still hasn't found what he's looking for. Such a relatable lyric: "You broke the bonds And you loosed the chains Carried the cross Of my shame Oh my shame You know I believe it But I still haven't found what I'm looking for"
You guys have only reacted to the band's mellow songs thus far, and there is nothing wrong with that. One of their Grammy winning songs of the year is upbeat and mellow in parts, " Beautiful Day," but you should react to a couple of their first big hits, which are harder than this song: "New Years Day" and "Sunday, Bloody Sunday," or "Bullet the Blue Sky" all three of which are harder and are Rocking songs you will both love!! ✌❤
If you listen to the lyrics, he's speaking to God. He believes in God wholly, but still feels a restlessness in his life's journey. "I believe in the kingdom come Then all the colors will bleed into one Bleed into one But yes I'm still running You broke the bonds And you loosed the chains Carried the cross Of my shame Oh my shame You know I believe it"
You should check out the anti-war song Sunday Bloody Sunday. Two more great songs are New Year's Day and Desire. To me they are better than the "hits" like With or Without You and One.
My favorite U2 song ever. So beautiful
Same here my best U2 song of all time
Best band of past 40 years
U2 are world treasures. They play with honesty and from the heart. So so great!
“With or Without You” & “One” are my favourites...Bono was a rather sexy individual in his hey day...his voice is undeniably authentic, and emotive. Nice one! You’re one of the few reactors who “get” U2! 👏🏻👏🏻
With or Without You is one of my favourites as well. I don't sing well but I have to try whenever I hear it.
Haunting song - the emotion of a searching, restless heart and soul. Great visuals from Las Vegas! Thanks guys!
This song is from one of the greatest rock albums ("The Joshua Tree") of all time. Nearly every track on this album is fantastic! There were over 90,000 people in the stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA and it was just an incredible, unbelievable concert. Their follow-up album "Rattle and Hum" is also incredible!
This is a holy prayer.
“Where the Streets Have No Name” is another great song to check out.
U2’s live version of this song on “Rattle and Hum” is incredible. Worth the listen.
Absolutely!
Agreed!
🎸🎤💯👍
I had chills when It came out, and I have chills now watching your reaction video. Good job Boys! 👍
I missed being in this video by minutes. I was working at the pioneer club and watched them spray down Fremont street and I knew they were filming something but thought it was another car commercial. If I’d only known.
I remember seeing them perform this at the Joshua Tree concert many years ago. It was awesome. Definitely at the top of their game.
My favorite U2 song……just beautiful….and powerful. Hi, gents…..nice to see you.
Great pick bros ! Joshua Tree songs are all bangers. This video was well done too, but even better is their Official one for “Where The Streets Have No Name” (59M views, but probably gets blocked). Watching the band set up on a liquor store roof in downtown LA and surprise the public with great rock is priceless !!
i just swallowed hard watching this with you guys getting emotional from my wealth of triggered memories.....thank you
Bro's, you'll love their "Pride (In the Name of Love)", "I Will Follow" and "Sunday Bloody Sunday"!!
There's such a power to their music, and the guitar strumming of The Edge seems to give everything a certain urgency. Totally unique sound. You really need to check out "One" by them if you haven't already.
Hi there, yes, they reacted to One last year. Cheers!
@@annemaclean6634 thanks. In that case they must must check out "New Years Day".
once you hear this bit of magical song it is one of those that will always bbe in your head the rest of your life one of those classics good pick, young ones....
Everyone gets Emotional with this 🎵 song. It strikes a very sensitive nerve that makes me cry!!!!
So many good songs! New Years Day, Mysterious Ways, Beautiful Day, Pride (In the Name of Love)
You’ll love ‘where the streets have no name’ and the official video where they play on the building roof
My favorite is the music video in L.A. (1987) "the streets have no name" roof top performance and it is awesome!!
That album (The Joshua Tree) is just classic.
One of their more impressive songs somewhat in the same vein as this one is "All I Want Is You" and it's one you simply MUST hear. It's a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ song all the way!!

My fav song ever! This album is perfect
Very spiritual. You have to check out U2 singing with BB King When Love Comes to Town. BB sings the he'll out of that song.
I love how B.B. King tells Bono the lyrics were so heavy for such a young man.
Please please please do All I Want Is You/Streeter Have No Name live from Slane Castle and One Tree Hill (Rattle and Hum out-takes) next. You will love them a thousand times more guaranteed!

Edge is just tremendous. No one like that.
This is my favorite U2 song!! ❤❤❤❤
Shot in the wee hours of the morning, before they became super-famous. A few of the people on the street knew them in Vegas, most did not and it shows in their reactions.
An amazing high energy live song to check out is The Electric Co from Dortmund Germany 1984.
80s U2 were just amazing, Joshua Tree is one of the best albums ever.
My favorite U2 song!
You broke the bonds and loosed the chains. you carried the cross of my shame......Bros the whole Joshua tree Album is about their faith in Jesus.
Suddenly I want to hear U2 sing about elephants to this tune. 😅
Makes me emotional too
Favorite U2 song. Great choice!
Man, it's been 35 years. I can't believe u2 STILL hasn't found what they're looking for.
Extremely good band.
Check out “One Tree Hill” from the same album, Bono’s voice is stunning. Actually, the whole Joshua Tree album is a masterpiece.
Next Beatles album you have to listen to is the White album in my opinion, but Revolver, Rubber soul or Sgt. Pepper would be good as well
With U2 always pick the live versions just like with pearl jam you cant go wrong
Great choice Guys but you need to react to U2 live that's how everyone judges them because they are regarded as one of if not the Greatest live Bands of all time "

I want this song played at my memorial, or celebration of life. If I live to be a 100 I still have not found everything I was looking for.
Check out U2 at live aid, " Bad" & " sunday bloody sunday" ..Great performances quite early in their career..so many amazing acts and performances at Live Aid 👍👍👍
U2. Great band! I still haven´t found what I´m looking for. For me (U2 Top 6 song)
Another great song you needs reacts to. U2 - Even better than the real thing (Live) 💯👍
U2 In God's Country is the best. Saw them bf Joshua Tree and after. Great live band 👌
great song
Reminds me of the movie Blown Away.
Joshua Tree is U2's best album followed closely by War. Joshua Tree has a semi-spiritual feel to it, which I love. It's a somewhat rare emotion in rock music.
My fav U2 song bullet the blue sky is another
Ésta y one son las mejores canciones de U2 😢.
I was 15 years old in the summer of 1987 when I went to The Joshua Tree concert...EPIC!
Their albums didn't come any better than The Joshua Tree, Running to Standstill, In God's Country, The Steets Have No Name, just a few of the great tracks.
They do a version of this with a gospel choir it is amazing

you'll love 'Rattle And Hum', and more 'Achtung Baby' by this band.
react to any song from these albums
The Streets have no Name bois... Listen to Boy...and. War...oh yeah 💙💙 Joshua Tree is Stellar
You need to go down the U2 rabbit hole 😬🎶❤️
reminds me a little of the blue oyster cult classic ASTRONOMY -original studio from the album secret treaties
Treat yourself to a listen of. It is from their ~2000 album All You Can’t Leave Behind which has many great songs.
There is an excellent concert video Elevation 2001-Live from Boston which featured the above album plus a lot of their older songs.
Oops - wtf! The song name got clipped…..”In a Little While”.
That is Irish music at its best.
My favorite part of this song is the earnestness, culminating in these lyrics...saying even after finding belief in God/Jesus saving the world thru Jesus, he still hasn't found what he's looking for. Such a relatable lyric:
"You broke the bonds
And you loosed the chains
Carried the cross
Of my shame
Oh my shame
You know I believe it
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for"
Joshua tree is a masterpiece of a album like an album of poems
❤❤❤❤❤❤

See them live. It will change your life.
Since it’s fall….. Harvest Moon by Neil Young. 😊Ty beautiful song.
Hi there, they've already reacted to Harvest Moon, in January this year. 😊
@@annemaclean6634 thank you Anne 😊
Bad is the song to do next. It's simply a masterpiece.
Come to America! 😊
Do the album please. Iconic.
Take a look on Shawn James: I Try (Macy Grey cover) or War. He has a special voice.
with all do respect firstly, at 4:14 The edge is all like What are you doing dude ? stop
Bono did that a lot. I have no idea why he did, but you can see it in loads of live performances. Edge probably got used to it over time.
If you listen to the lyrics, he's speaking to God. He believes in God wholly, but still feels a restlessness in his life's journey.
"I believe in the kingdom come
Then all the colors will bleed into one
Bleed into one
But yes I'm still running
You broke the bonds
And you loosed the chains
Carried the cross
Of my shame
Oh my shame
You know I believe it"
The edge is a one off
👍👍👍👍👍

Hi there, they reacted to the song One about a year ago. Cheers.
@@annemaclean6634 Thanks.
Red Hill Mining Town.
Hey guys...react more Guns n roses
GREAT suggestion for you: "MISSISSIPPI QUEEN" by Mountain Trust me.
React Pantera - "Cemetery Gates" full version
You should check out the anti-war song Sunday Bloody Sunday. Two more great songs are New Year's Day and Desire. To me they are better than the "hits" like With or Without You and One.
Have they found it yet , or still looking !?? 😂😂😂
i have trouble looking at him he seems weird i love this album though
Can't stand Bono personally but this is a great song
Hello, can you react to "bullet the blue sky" by U2?
They are probably the most hated bands in the world.
