I started a new playthrough of this on the Switch version recently, before I knew you had this video, and I knew the dom ruins trap method of levelling water was a thing. But god damn man I don't know how you did it, I moved on after getting around level 10 water magic on each character... It's just too mind numbing and time consuming. Much respect for being that dedicated to the grind!
yea if you REALLY want level 99 water there, its a good idea to just have a master save there where you already have it xD that way you only need to do the grind once
My favorite moment have to be when they are climbing onto the ghost ship, and the second email tag and it stops in a dark crawlspace and Justin runs into the backside of her.

@@DevDreCW RPGMaker has a ton of great rpgs tho, three the hard way is still in my top 3 rpgs and it was created by a single person. 80+ hours of content, the story was incredible and intriguing, kept you asking for more, the branching storyline paths and the freedom to hunt down whichever kaibutsu lord you want(but this part ends once you kill 3 or the leader so you have to replay multiple times to learn everything), the sidequests, even the main character, who isnt the average rpg protagonist but a greedy bastard in it solely for the money. If you feel like you're up for a challenge of Grandia, I recommend the Grandia Redux 3.1 Patch, which has reworked some of the spell and skill learning requirements as well as gave enemies some severly needed buffs and skillchanges, making the game a lot harder and for some of Feenas spells actually able to learn without grinding for 600+ hours ;3 you know the ones I mean~
I played and beat Grandia on the PS1 back when the PS1 was the big thing, and looking back on it there's this sort of innocence and light-heartedness to it. It starts out with a "going on an adventure" tone and sure, you end up saving the world in the end, but it never really gets dark and heavy like other, more well-known RPGs of the era, and that's to its benefit.
the boss at 30:30 understands whats going on so much he is just blocking and hiding his single eye. the game of my childhood. beat it loads. rarely got above lvl 40. the weapons and magic lvl are what really matter tbh. great vid
Farm Baked Plains. Kill Sandmans for EXP and Money (Sell Sandman Whiskers) and kill Giant Mantis for Seed of Defense. 4 to 5 hours of grinding and you can get Ryudo to be basically immune to physical damage. I did that once and not even Malefice could damage me, unfortunately if he cannot deal damage you will have to defeat him and you get nothing for doing so :P
Sir, you've gone far beyond what anyone should've ever done to himself for the sake of testing the limits of power in this game. The entire time you went on about levelling Sue, my mind echoed "but she leaves, why even bother?", and not only did you keep going, you added GADWIN to the equation! And on one of the loveliest RPG's I've ever played. Have my humble subscription, and my everlasting respect. Even if it's worth very little...
You got me with Grandia, and made me smile with you calling it your all time favorite. I'm happy another feels this way about the game, it's definitely one of the best RPGs I have ever played in my life. I love the fact that everything gains exp, that leveling somebody is never exactly a waste since 1/3 of the levels can transfer, the unique ATB with cancels and delays, and how the game is more about the spirit of adventure than anything. Onto the video itself, basically the only thing this tells me is that it's near impossible to hit the level cap, and that water/earth/wind are the easiest ones to level since they basically can do support, and that fire is always going to be a pain short of Sue. Which is a shame, I have never to this day actually unlocked Feena's final moves, the fact they require level 99 of the magic makes it so difficult.
First thing I do when I start grandia is I put sue to not make any actions besides defend and grind really really hard with Justin then start getting Mana eggs and after a certain point in the game go to dungeon with damage trap and Max out water then work on other elements and basically can solo any boss that comes my way
I like Sue to have all her abilitys befor "Part two" of the Game, all her XP can be transfered to Feena and Justin at that Point so nothing waisted at all.
To be honest, what I loved the most about Grandia is the story. To me, a good story makes a game memorable and replayable even many years later. As for the video, I did love that you still spent time leveling up Sue and Gadwin. Sue can go back to the village being godlike :)
Grandia: I wanna be an adventurer! Grandia II: I wanna bang that priest! Grandia III: I wanna fly in the sky! Grandia Xtreme: WHY IS EVERYTHING ON FIRE/CRUMBLING/DROWNING/BEING BLOWN AWAY!?
Now this is an interesting experience. Back when I got this game I never knew how popular it was in other places, cuz back then Internet wasn't really what it is today and you basically just had your local bubble of people to talk about games. Seeing that this game is still so popular, is actually incredible. Glad to see that this gem wasn't forgotten over the years. It's one of the cutest and best written RPG's on the PlayStation 1. It really captures this oldschool kind of adventuring and discovering new things in foreign lands, kinda like the old Indiana Jones movies. Really great game. And to see people cheese the heck out of it these days...absolutely hilarious and wholesome at the same time. Good stuff. :)
@@GracefulDiscension *Shudders* No idea how its your favorite. Its easily the worst of the three. That plot is freaking everywhere and the gameplay is just meh compared to the first two. But eh, to each their own.
I was actually excited to see this pop up on my related videos, Grandia is my favourite RPG of all time… though I confess a lot of that probably has to do with nostalgia. Still, this was a blast, thanks so much for giving this under appreciated gem this treatment!
Grandia and Grandia 2 are like my favorite RPGs of all time. Before the video even started I knew this would be an insane challenge, I don’t think I’ve ever gotten past like level 40! Amazing video! Love your content! I’d love to see an overpowered video on octopath traveler!
@@Primalliquid92 It's not 100% the same, but there's the third and fourth games in the "Penny Arcade Adventures" series, by the guys who made "Cthulhu Saves The World". Basically, you have the same timeline-based battle system, able to knock enemies out of their attacks with correct timing. The fourth game uses a pseudo-Pokemon system where you collect monsters and pick which ones you want to bring into battle, with unique characters like "Vendorr" the living Vending Machine, with the ability to create and use items from MP. The biggest difference between it and Grandia as far as battles go is that the battles are side-view like old-school Final Fantasy rather than isometric with characters running around, although like I said before, it does use the timeline battle system. It also takes a cue from "Cthulhu Saves The World" and enemies gain 10% to all of their stats every single turn, making battle strategy a priority. The big catch is, the game is actually rather story-heavy despite being Penny Arcade, where you'd think it would be nothing but comedy. (Although the comedy is there, and hilarious, especially if you're already a PA fan.) You definitely want to play the first two games to get the full story, and those look and play absolutely nothing like the latter half of the series, being more similar to something like Paper Mario or the Mario & Luigi series in how big the focus is on Action Commands, and with a big jump in difficulty over the two series. The reason behind this is that the series got cancelled after some issues with the original developers after the first two games. There didn't seem to be any way to finish the series, so the PA guys decided that their best bet would be to finish the story as a novel or something, until eventually a different developer (the "Cthulhu Saves The World" team) offered to do the remaining games, and do them the way they do best. Speaking of which, it might be interesting to see if you can pull off an overpowered video on the "Penny Arcade Adventures" games. There's a predetermined number of battles that generally don't respawn, so you have to get really creative in how you power-level since you can't just grind on endless enemies.
Never played Grandia but hearing how passionate you are about it just in the first few minutes of the video makes me want to give it a go. Might have to pick up 1+2 on Steam at some point.
For preference, I tend to: -Prioritise Sue's Yawn skill in battles where there are more enemies than party members. It also helps building water exp -Teach at least one party member freeze, then find slimes. Use freeze until they're at movement -7 (almost immobile) and all they can do is either try to move towards you or Divide. You're done with freeze, now. If they actually reach you, just use the move command and get out of their way. If you don't use freeze more than you need to, you should be okay. If you have party members that aren't trying to learn water magic, now would be a good time to have them spam things like Diggin', Runner or any other non-damaging magic for easy exp. Or if it's a casual playthrough, just cast Alheal occasioanlly. You get magic exp if you cast it in combat even on fully healed party members. But trying to get to 99 of any element without the Ethereal Miracle isn't a pleasant prospect.
600 hours. Sweet merciful Zeus. I have WoW toons with that kind of time logged, sure, but I've been playing that since '04. You, sir, are a maniac, and I mean that in the best possible way. Mad respect.
I love this game!! I remember not getting Feena's spell that required level 99 Water and Wind iirc. I also love having those warp shoes or something on Justin.
had a demo disc with two portions of Grandia, the first was trying to find "Java" around Parm the second portion was right after Feena joined I think, and you went around this area before the Dom Ruins. it's a fantastic game with the best music.
Been playing Grandia HD collection on the Switch these past few days. I remember when I was younger I played the game in one of those demos that magazines had, but I never really understood the gameplay mechanics. I’m glad I picked it up again, the game has so much charm. Great guide!
Excellent choice of game and excellent content as always. Definitely putting me in the mood for a replay. Your devotion to the overpowered videos is admirable.
I played it on the psone as a teenager and absolutely loved it. Few games managed to create that sheer sense of adventure! Maybe I’ll replay it someday...
Absolutely *loved* this! Thank you oh so very much for this, Primalliquid! I have also played through this game well over a dozen times, loving it every time, and you just brought a bunch of that joy back. I never ever maxed any skill to level 99, however now, upon watching your video, I am getting inspired to do just that :D Again, thank you ever so much for your majestic effort and dedication in making these videos :D
Honestly, for me, as a fan, it give me so much pleasure, to find out all the ways, you can get through the amazing story and its highs and deeps - many years earlier as a child, playing with my best friend every weekend on his ps 1 hours after hours - always remembering the first playthrough and now older aged, smiles like a clown, how chilled i can get through, knows the tactics and how to lvl to improve before a hard boss but also sometimes, not to train because to see how hard it can be, and even knows every single line and speak the whole story for myself :D it was a great time with this game in my childhood, and a great time now with 32 years - superb Game which hopefully get more and more reach for everyone after us
Grandia is my all time favourite game ever! I am so glad to see you playing it! I used to love the leveling system as well, I used to love grinding out the water level's for ages as soon as you could with the overworld damage trick!
Via your recommendation I started playing this game, and my favorite thing so far is how much the characters remind me of hunter hunter. Can't wait to see how they develop and grow. Came back to this video after a couple days of playing the game. Oh and wanted to say, as a voice actor the popping in the mix for your voiceovers can be avoided by just moving further away from your mic or buying a cheap $10 pop filter.
its not a waste if you use it to abuse Fight Cheer when doing an over the top playthrough lol even then though its the best way to level fire and earth magic if you want to use the boosts on leite later on, her fire is tedious to level afterall.
What you say is true, however I usually only get one magic on her and focus getting justin/feena all magic asap. However I am very tempted to try this power grind on sue for fire and earth. Seems strong.
Hate the fact that there is not much more love on this series. I played this on PS One. And like you said, this is one of the most enjoyable grinds ever.
Omgggg dude love u so muchhhh im from Paris im a big super big fan of JRPG this Grandia made my childhood for real thx u for your devotion and this 660 hours you played lol as someone asked in the comments pls do the same for Grandia 2 and pls do it for Grandia 3 and Xtreme too ! Your explications are great Just continue like that ! *puff-puff*
12:55 i dunno, i remember playing it and grinding water levels at a diferent spot, with poison i belive. all i needed to do was stay in one place and wait, it was pretty fast. of course, its been more than a decade(closer to 1 and a half decade now) since i did it. so i dont remember excatly what spot it was.
Believe you can do the same thing at the start of disk 2 just before meeting Rapp, but you only have Justin and Feena at that point so its not the best spot ( though only Feena needs level 100 in her magic skills anyway I guess)
Played and completed it rather recently on the Switch, great JRPG and without spoiling much, ill just mention that I really liked the battle system mechanic of delaying or outright denying an enemy's turn which helped boss fights feel more fresh with having to target different parts, as each lined up attacks on their own.
I still have a copy of the PS1 copy of this game AND my save files on my 2 memory cards. Great fondness for this game, awesome to see a video like this on it.
I recently got this game on my PS3 and been contemplating starting a game since I'm already playing multiple games atm. Definitely gonna try this. Only Grandia game I've ever played b4 is Grandia Extreme.
I loved this game when I played it on PS1 a long time ago. I really liked the way you can combine weapon skills and magic knowledge to unlock special skills and spells, the multi-part monsters, and the turn-order system with the visible bar, the combo and stun system... there was so much there that I liked. The story and characters were also really memorable and delightful, it was just a lot of fun to play through the whole thing.
you can cut the water leveling by 50%, you dont need to get down to 1hp, just cast after getting hit once, you get 3xp it does not matter how much you lost per cast. and use lvl 3 magic heal later for more cast before returning.
It may be wrong info, but I remember reading somewhere (probably gamefaqs) that if you want to be as powerful as possible by the end of the game, you'd still need to max Sue and Gadwin weapons and magic because the +33 lvls that they give can actually go past lvl 99, so you'd max every character, and then use the boosts on the ones you want
I have heard about this game so many times but never played it. I think your video might be the one that makes me get it this time. This game looks fun.
This is still probably the greatest game I've ever played. Everything about it was a 10/10 and when they put this on the switch I lost mind and played it while having the greatest nostalgic trip ever.
I've seen tons of your videos and Grandia is one of my all time favorite games. How am I just now finding this?!?! I literally used to do all this hard-core power leveling and min maxing back in the day. like getting mastered materia and all but final limit breaks for cloud and barret before fighting guard Scorpion.
great job primal! Ive, never played, but i've always been so interested in the game. I played other grandia games and love Elena the most of the games ive played
Lol, I'm playing it now and I totally forgot the most hilarious sentence Feena said after landing with Justin at the volcano summit. "I hit my fanny". So hysterical 🤣🤣
I used to do the water thing, in the poison pools; I would intentionally stand in the poison pools and then heal them in menu. My water was always under levelled and is being it up to par with the attacking elements and weapons.
I love this game, and it was the first game I went back through and tried to grind out to be as strong as I possibly could after I finished the game. Favorite thing about the game? Feena. Always Feena.
One of my most favourite RPG's of all time to beat the game all i did was get Justin to master wind + fire magic to unlock lighting and boom nothing survives.
Thank you for this video, i love this game so much i've beaten it a few times it's so great and had no idea how to power level my characters like you did (the dom ruins bit i have done, but not to THAT level)
My introduction to this title was through grandia2 for the Dreamcast launch. I loved it. The battle system in particular it was nice to be able to engage on my terms and swing battles to my favour. Anyway I just grabbed the grandia 1 and 2 on the Nintendo switch so this will be my first time playing the original title. I hope it holds up
If you want to cut a bit of time off the Dom Ruins water grinding, make sure to use all three character's mp up before running back to the save point to recover, instead of running back every time a single character's mp is depleted. It's about 12-15 seconds of walking time each time you go back and forth, which will really add up with the number of times you have to make the trip to hit Water 99. On the subject of the Dom Ruins, a glitch was found in the PC port that allows you to either skip or endlessly refight a good number of the bosses, with the Dom Ruins boss Ganymede being the first example of a refightable boss. It's a glitched out version that only gives half the exp (since the boss is considered two parts but only one part of it spawns) and drops the Shell Armor but no money, but even at 500 exp a pop it's still about 10x more than you'll get from any regular encounters, and since its a boss the weapon/magic exp you'll get takes longer to drop down to 1 per hit.
Grandia is my favourite RPG of all time. I've completed it more times than I can count. My favourite thing about this game is the combat. But I also really like Feena. Her character, story, combat style, Feena is just awesome.
This game's a true masterpiece. I've played the regular game on PS1, PC and even Vita, and beat the Grandia ReDux remake/mod. My fave game of ALL TIME, right up there with DQ8. VERY worth playing.
~ 20:00 are you sure about the 999 xp maximum back than ? iirc while feenas time gate grind via runner i got 11 levels per "fight". (pal german version if thats a difference)
I haven't even got past the Ad yet and I don't know how to contain myself. Grandia needs more content across the entire world!
im probably going to do a playthrough soonish for it :)

Part of me want's to defend it, but I will outright not play games if they remind me of RPGMaker nowadays. So I totally get you.

I love the music. No matter what there's always a good time for some grandia jams.
“At this point Sue could solo the final boss” wait a second..,
First thing I do when I start grandia is I put sue to not make any actions besides defend and grind really really hard with Justin then start getting Mana eggs and after a certain point in the game go to dungeon with damage trap and Max out water then work on other elements and basically can solo any boss that comes my way
@@roxaszero2154 I always did that as well, never gave her a mana egg even once in my playthroughs.
I like Sue to have all her abilitys befor "Part two" of the Game, all her XP can be transfered to Feena and Justin at that Point so nothing waisted at all.
You are basically playing the game like the cautious heroe XD
i still need to watch that lol
It's late but...
READY PERFECTLY
Really good anime lol

Grandia was and is one of the best games, ever. Such a beautiful little game and masterpiece.
100% agree
yes it is
I have to agree. Would love a remastered or something, but keep the battle system and level system. Graphic overload
@@Terins917 it’s bundled with its sequel on the Nintendo switch
To be honest, what I loved the most about Grandia is the story.
To me, a good story makes a game memorable and replayable even many years later.
As for the video, I did love that you still spent time leveling up Sue and Gadwin. Sue can go back to the village being godlike :)
Grandia: I wanna be an adventurer!
Grandia II: I wanna bang that priest!
Grandia III: I wanna fly in the sky!
Grandia Xtreme: WHY IS EVERYTHING ON FIRE/CRUMBLING/DROWNING/BEING BLOWN AWAY!?
@@XainArchives sounds like i need to play the next 3 games
"we find a sick child and we need to cure him....were not gonna do that though"
Ain't got time for dat we need to GRIIIIINNND XD
Good stuff. :)
Love all three mainline Grandia titles.Till this day I still say,
"Gadwins's secret move! DRAGONKING SLICE!"
I say that too lol
Thank you for acknowledging 3. It's my favorite and everyone seems to treat it like an unwanted child.
@@GracefulDiscension Today I learned there's a third Grandia game. Gotta check that out ASAP.
"Ten-Sei-Ken SLASH"
I have played Grandia 3 and Grandia extreme, but they just did not resonate with me like the first two, lol.
I would also love to see a video on Octopath Traveler. 😮😍
I first played Grandia on my ps vita a few years back, and it has one of my favorite battle systems of any rpg I've played
yea i absolutely love the weapon exp and magic exp system with how you unlock skills. i really really want a modern day game with that system
There's a predetermined number of battles that generally don't respawn, so you have to get really creative in how you power-level since you can't just grind on endless enemies.
incredible video. it stressed me out so much watching you give sue all that power lol
Never played Grandia but hearing how passionate you are about it just in the first few minutes of the video makes me want to give it a go. Might have to pick up 1+2 on Steam at some point.
it is above and beyond my fave game, ive not played it as many times as some final fantasy titles but in my heart it is even ranked above FF10
For preference, I tend to:
-Prioritise Sue's Yawn skill in battles where there are more enemies than party members. It also helps building water exp
-Teach at least one party member freeze, then find slimes.
What I did ... get poisoned then cure yourself . Wash and rinse . No need to even enter a fight .
what is Ethereal Miracle?
@@kingmasterlord it's an accessory at the top of the Tower of Temptation bonus dungeon. Doubles magic exp gains.
Warp shoes in the first game were not good. especially with field nuking spells/skills.
@@XainArchives I used it mostly for the looks lol.
had a demo disc with two portions of Grandia, the first was trying to find "Java" around Parm
the second portion was right after Feena joined I think, and you went around this area before the Dom Ruins.
it's a fantastic game with the best music.
Been playing Grandia HD collection on the Switch these past few days. I remember when I was younger I played the game in one of those demos that magazines had, but I never really understood the gameplay mechanics. I’m glad I picked it up again, the game has so much charm. Great guide!
Grandia is one of my favorite game!!
Happy your doing this.
Im roleplaying as Justin for a dnd game.
Excellent choice of game and excellent content as always. Definitely putting me in the mood for a replay. Your devotion to the overpowered videos is admirable.
just doing what people love :)
I never ever maxed any skill to level 99, however now, upon watching your video, I am getting inspired to do just that :D
Again, thank you ever so much for your majestic effort and dedication in making these videos :D
Glad you enjoyed it! skill maxing is pretty easy imo, level maxing on the other hand, i dont actually know of anybody who has done that legit
I love old jrpg's. These unique leveling systems are always so much fun to deconstruct. Great video!
Couldn't agree more!
Honestly, for me, as a fan, it give me so much pleasure, to find out all the ways, you can get through the amazing story and its highs and deeps - many years earlier as a child, playing with my best friend every weekend on his ps 1 hours after hours - always remembering the first playthrough and now older aged, smiles like a clown, how chilled i can get through, knows the tactics and how to lvl to improve before a hard boss but also sometimes, not to train because to see how hard it can be, and even knows every single line and speak the whole story for myself :D it was a great time with this game in my childhood, and a great time now with 32 years - superb Game which hopefully get more and more reach for everyone after us
I played the demo of this back when I was just a kid on the PS1. I'm so happy I'll be able to play the game now over 20 years later!
Grandia is my all time favourite game ever! I am so glad to see you playing it! I used to love the leveling system as well, I used to love grinding out the water level's for ages as soon as you could with the overworld damage trick!
i couldnt do this... i literally rolled my eyes in a "is that all" when you said you had justins water alrdy done and just had to do the other 3
Gone are they days where endless grinding rewarded you with the ultimate badass feeling of invincibility. Chaos Legion is an old favourite.
Your dedication in these videos is amazing. This and your other Overpowered videos are extremely entertaining to watch!
23:13 I love that band
"But none so fast an easy..." "8 hours per character"
This man is a lunatic lol
Via your recommendation I started playing this game, and my favorite thing so far is how much the characters remind me of hunter hunter. Can't wait to see how they develop and grow. Came back to this video after a couple days of playing the game.
Oh and wanted to say, as a voice actor the popping in the mix for your voiceovers can be avoided by just moving further away from your mic or buying a cheap $10 pop filter.
I was yelling at the screen when you were giving sue all that magic, it's such a waste! But massive grats. Thoroughly enjoyed this.
its not a waste if you use it to abuse Fight Cheer when doing an over the top playthrough lol even then though its the best way to level fire and earth magic if you want to use the boosts on leite later on, her fire is tedious to level afterall.
Well you do get her "Skillbooks/Scrolls" so its not wasted as-is to be fair
What you say is true, however I usually only get one magic on her and focus getting justin/feena all magic asap. However I am very tempted to try this power grind on sue for fire and earth. Seems strong.
My favorite JRPG of all time. I enjoyed the combat, characters, and plot.
I loved Grandia in my childhood so much and I still love it. So much nostalgia while watching this video😊 good job!
Great vid as always! That ending revelation about the two characters was hilarious! lol
Hate the fact that there is not much more love on this series. I played this on PS One. And like you said, this is one of the most enjoyable grinds ever.
Thanks for doing what you're doing, Primal.
My pleasure!
*puff-puff*
12:55 i dunno, i remember playing it and grinding water levels at a diferent spot, with poison i belive. all i needed to do was stay in one place and wait, it was pretty fast. of course, its been more than a decade(closer to 1 and a half decade now) since i did it. so i dont remember excatly what spot it was.
me too, it was near of Gadwin's village, way easier to grind for water levels.
Believe you can do the same thing at the start of disk 2 just before meeting Rapp, but you only have Justin and Feena at that point so its not the best spot ( though only Feena needs level 100 in her magic skills anyway I guess)
Love this icredible dedication ! Never reached more than lvl 50's even xwhen grindig for 99 magics
Good show! You've inspired me to pick up Grandia on steam. I've been after something to do in these trying times. Keep up the good work!
its highly worth it, enjoy
Played and completed it rather recently on the Switch, great JRPG and without spoiling much, ill just mention that I really liked the battle system mechanic of delaying or outright denying an enemy's turn which helped boss fights feel more fresh with having to target different parts, as each lined up attacks on their own.
I still have a copy of the PS1 copy of this game AND my save files on my 2 memory cards. Great fondness for this game, awesome to see a video like this on it.
Awesome, thank you for doing my childhood favourite game!
the first Person that gives Sue magic. :D nice video :)
i always give her fire, earth and water atleast. normally in my playthroughs i just ignore wind though
She gets 3 special moves with those spells wish she had a wind one
You're absolutely crazy man. Cheers on your hard work!
Ima subcribe, leave a comment and like the video because of the effort you did on grinding. Just wow
I recently got this game on my PS3 and been contemplating starting a game since I'm already playing multiple games atm. Definitely gonna try this. Only Grandia game I've ever played b4 is Grandia Extreme.
Great video! Thank you so much! I have never played Grandia but this video made me wanna play it =D
Nice!
I just found your channel!
I love doing this kinda thing and will probably binge the rest of this series!
I have played this game so many times and I find myself coming back too it and the battle system is just perfect
first time ever hearing about the game, seems lik it'd be right up my alley, thank you.
Loved Grandia II, great video!
you can cut the water leveling by 50%, you dont need to get down to 1hp, just cast after getting hit once, you get 3xp it does not matter how much you lost per cast. and use lvl 3 magic heal later for more cast before returning.
Love this series dude :)
You are my hero! Love it when one of these come out
I have heard about this game so many times but never played it. I think your video might be the one that makes me get it this time. This game looks fun.
highly suggest it, its an amazing experience
I really enjoy these! Keep up the good work!
The story, is absolutely timeless, inspiring, very touching at times, all around so good. Possibly the best alongside og ff7 and Chrono Trigger
Great Video. greetz from germany. Loved Grandia on ps1.
that 600 hours playtime is insane bro haha
so much dedication
This is still probably the greatest game I've ever played. Everything about it was a 10/10 and when they put this on the switch I lost mind and played it while having the greatest nostalgic trip ever.
Definitely. Graphics are not everything and it didn't take me long to get back into it, forgetting that its 20 odd years since I last played it.
So hysterical 🤣🤣
theres some really amazing 1 liners in grandia yea xD
I used to do the water thing, in the poison pools; I would intentionally stand in the poison pools and then heal them in menu.
My water was always under levelled and is being it up to par with the attacking elements and weapons.
I love this game, and it was the first game I went back through and tried to grind out to be as strong as I possibly could after I finished the game.
Favorite thing about the game? Feena. Always Feena.
One of my most favourite RPG's of all time to beat the game all i did was get Justin to master wind + fire magic to unlock lighting and boom nothing survives.
Thank you for this video, i love this game so much i've beaten it a few times it's so great and had no idea how to power level my characters like you did
(the dom ruins bit i have done, but not to THAT level)
Holy shit, an OG Grandia video in 2020. Life might be worth it after all.
Omg! I love Grandia, and that's insane) i wouldn't be able to do one third of this, but i wish i figured out the trick with healing! Amazing video))
Loved that game growing up, thanks for the nostalgia
I am addicted to this series!
Would love to one day see a breath of fire 3 video
Not sure if I ever finished this game ...
Keep up the great work :)
