Can you tour on a 300 cc Maxi Scooter?

probably best described as a commuter and city bike ! can it handle the English country lanes & sweeping bends ?

Did 303 mile 1st day on Yamaha Tricity 300, bringing it Home and since that done a few 250 miles round trips. The 13 l tank makes all the difference.Normal Mpg ranges between 74 to 92.Oh By the way i am 62 and my last time was on 2 wheels 44 years ago ;)
Fuel efficiency is a real plus with the 300cc engine. How you finding 3 wheels? Did look at the tricity 300 but couldn’t get one.

It absolutely is very possible to tour on a Maxi Scooter... More comfortable too. I ride a Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive. Like riding a miniature scooter version of a Goldwing, is the best way I can describe it. 😁
650cc should be very capable, but how is that round town?
Enjoy your tour on your Xmax. I did a long trip from Singapore thru Malaysia, Thailand , Cambodia and back few years back and the Xmax handles almost everything quite well. So yes enjoy the long ride. 😃

@@BlueHippoMoto did about 60km of offroading in Cambodia while its ok during that time I agree that it will struggle in rough condition. Its a scooter alter all.🤣
I wanna do this as well, wanna buy adv350 in Thailand travel through Indonesia to Australia. Any recommendations? I mean is there any problems you experience crossing the borders? Paper work, some instruments needed???🤔

Highly underrated mode of transportation is the maxi scooter in the UK
A scooter is a motorcycle the same way an estate and a saloon are both cars.
Indeed unfortunately a lot of riders in the UK see them as not motorcycles or dislike them lots.

So what made you pick the Tech Max?
It was between that and the forza went and had a test drive on both the xmax to me was better all round more comfortable better fuel economy and bigger fuel tank it just was a better ride for me ! I did like the electric screen on the forza but looking to put a bigger givi touring screen on the xmax which will be bigger than the forza anyway
@@jctoyou won’t get much better fuel economy other than a 125cc , I think if you can get the right screen and you don’t need to adjust it then it could be perfect. The lack of real screen adjustment did annoy me a tad.
