What a great video! I really enjoyed that the format allowed you to quickly run through many uniques IBs that may not get much airtime because no one on youtube has tried it.
@@McIntyresMalts honestly this is so dynamic that I didn’t miss it at all. Maybe a marker for each different distillery/bottler, that would be useful for rewatching after specific bits. Yeah, Wade, that was pretty interesting from my point of view. I buy from the same domestic market as you so I recognise most of those whiskies, although I certainly haven't tried them all. It's useful to get opinion about what is "meh" and not worth bothering with, particularly with Scotch whisky (new distilleries, new core ranges, special editions, etc). Now get to work on your 2024!
What a PHENOMENAL video! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Some surprising reactions in there for sure, but that's the beauty of whisky :) Cheers Wade!
Thank you for the kind words Miles 🥃 Yes I would be VERY surprised if someone had the EXACT opinions as I do for every whisky. Just some fun and hopefully valuable content!
I think this is a great way to go through all the whisk(e)y. Running a review channel you can't get to everything, but you can still let people know what you think. Nice job! We agree on a lot. I am excited about Kilchoman and think they are going to do well for me in 2024. Cheers Wade. Looking forward to 2024.
Thank you Peter, it's a lot of fun doing this format albeit a lot of work (both drinking and editing 😂) I am looking forward to trying the new Kilchoman PX matured release this year!
Fantastic video Wade. 167 to 169 Waubs Harbour we went on the distillery tour this week. Highly recommend. You are spot on I think this is one to keep an eye on in the Tassie whisky scene. Also out of the tasting we went for the Port Storm to take home!
Hey Wade, many thanks on your thoughts and opinions once more! Without arguing about some few things we disagree on, i´ll use this as confimation about some stuff i have on my very shortlist to buy withing the next visits of my favourite shop: Kilchoman Sanaig, Kilkerran, GlenAllachie 15. You seemed to be free of any doubts when it came to these ones. One suggestion from my side: Should you get your hands on a Tamdhu Ambar 14 from their travel retail series i highly recommend it to you. When you prefer the 12 over the 15 year old, i have an idea where you´re coming from and that´s why i say, you´ll find the Ambar 14 to be an ever better version of the standard 12 and pretty different from the heavier, darker 15. It's part of the wonder of the spirit and the subjectiveness of taste isn't it. Yes, I think that is why the 12 shines to me, it's just too good value and the 15 doesn't improve enough to warrant the price jump, even though it is good. Cheers! 🥃
