I barely know how to play the game but I made a billion dollars through raining down commercial and apartment buildings and buying 50% of a competitors stock at around 40-80 dollars before it shot up to 450 dollars

You might be able to do it by buying other companies, I haven't tried this way. But I set up subsidiaries with the DLC.

Make sure you are only using shell companies. If your main company holds any shares, you will be blocked by the SEC.

That's weird, i had someone else say that as well. I even updated my game and it still works. Make sure you are only using your subsidiaries. Don't use your parent company at all .

@@shamalau6265 there is a setting pre-game game called something like "stock sim market" or something. There is only two option- yes and no. Change that and try it again. Not sure if it'll work tho
