  • 2018 June Test Series: Third Test - New Zealand v France
Another outstanding test match in Dunedin, both teams moved the ball through the backlines to create some fantastic Tries. France opened the scoring through replacement scrum half Baptiste Serin but the All Blacks opened up in the second half with Rieko Ioane scoring 3 times.

For tempo, accuracy, handling skills, creating space the first quarter of this game the best international of the year - awesome effort France, huge admiration! But that tempo, that space making game is what the All Blacks excell at, coming off the powerhouse forward pack they were as good as any All Black team of the modern era! Congrats to team and coaches!

There is No Team that can Beat ABs consecutively! ABs will win the World Cup for the Third Consecutive time masters of the game they are unbeatable even the Ref's are suckered by the way these guys play.

Very likely, not guaranteed. Remember, in the knock-out phase, nobody needs to beat you consecutively. One game and you're out.
Nobody can beat the ABs in a series. That I agree. In one lucky game? The wallabies and he Irish have done that last year, so it definitely can happen.

  • @JTM1809

Yeah, the refs were poor the entire series, but sick and tired of the ceaseless wailing about the refs. As poor as they were on occasion, they did not influence the outcome of the games. ABs would have swept France even with perfect refs sent straight from Heaven.
There isn't a single ABs game without multitudes bawling about the refs afterwards. It creates the atmosphere, that the refs are pushing the ABs because because ... because apparently New Zealand must be the richest, most powerful country in the world and their space army would nuke the refs from the orbit, if they didn't whistle an AB tune.
The ABs are winning, because they are the best team in rugby by a very unhealthy margin.
If the French want to become as good, perhaps they could practice more efficiently, instead of wailing. Or actually develop their own youth, instead of purchasing aging elite internationals from all over the world. Kudos to Stade Rochelais, the coolest team in Top14, who actually do precisely that, and won the league with homegrown talent.

The All Blacks scored 28 unanswered points in the damn second half, nothing to do with momentum. The French had their opportunity in the second half and failed, Got it.

    • @Aidankiwi
      @Aidankiwi 6 років тому +11

Really? Are you familiar with the rules of rugby? You are wrong on three counts about the rules and a fourth because of your lack of awareness about the game in general...
      1. There is no rule in rugby about the referee impeding a player, there is only a rule if the ball strikes the referee.
      2. If the same rule applied to the referee as applies to players regarding obstruction, again there was no infringement as the referee had simply stood his ground.
      3. The French half-back was fractionally slow to react to the play and was caught slightly flat-footed. He would not have made the tackle and tried to milk the situation to cover up his error.
      4. This try did not really alter the momentum of the game at all, the gap was only 7pts afterwards and the French at that point were competitive. No the French caved in defensively in the second half, long after the incident you refer to.

Typical Northern Hemisphere, excuses galore.

  • @Karma-qt4ji

The level of favouritism shown to this team is now beyond a joke and they are not even trying to be subtle any more. Maybe the rest of the world should just not play the All Blacks until the situation is sorted out, or even just send one of our better school boy teams and rest our A teams. We are never going to win because the "rub of the green" will always go in their favour. Jump forward a few hours to the Ireland / Australia game and it appears that a forearm to the throat does actually result in a yellow card. Who knew....?? (just one incident only by the way, there have been many other inconsistencies over the June tour games to the Southern Hemisphere this year).
Sorry All Black fans, this is not aimed against you or your team at all. It is aimed against the apparent inability of referees to judge you to the same standards as they judge every other team. And bearing in mind that you are ultimately rated the best team in the world, giving you a further unfair advantage defeats the purpose of competing in the first place. Like giving Schumacher a 2 lap head start or Tiger Woods a 5 shot lead (back in the days when they were the best in their respective sports). You will almost certainly never catch them so why bother?
Your own commentary team is talking about this, questioning refs decisions, etc. I suddenly wish we were back in the day when they were just partisan arseholes lol.

You are going to bring up a poor refereeing decision from 11 years ago and somehow translate it to "it's therefore okay that we consistently get the rub of the green now"? Tell me, were you happy with the BIL result last year too? Or is it only okay when refs make mistakes that suit you?

      In the history books now.
