Draenor 100%. The raids were well liked - so being able to just zoom past leveling (though good), not needing to do the Garrison for 2 years, and just raiding and doing the dungeons sounds like a good time.
Part of me just wants the next remix to be either Wod or Legion
@@dastvan8002 WOD and Legion!
All of the content in WoD was fantastic, its main downfall was the relatively small amount of content for the time the expansion was active. It is the perfect candidate for a 90 day "remix" event.
Honestly make all the garrison rewards bronze or whatever currency they choose and not tied to power progression in any way and bingo Bango Garrisons would work.
@@extravagantpanda7962 Poor lore choices (What else is new) and limited stuff to do.
Definitely most excited for Legion, espicially from a leveling standpoint, given that having the different Order Hall Campaigns should reduce the burnout of going through the same zones over and over again.
I'm doing Loremaster in the remix. I feel like Mists was one of their stronger expansions for world building and a general sense of adventure. Kind of having a blast.
Agreed! Honestly, when it comes to world building and story, wish they would go back to mists as a foundation/schematic for how to do it.
Me too. I'm doing the dungeons and eventually raids when I get to them as they come along and introduced in the quests, it's really fun. I'm just approaching it as an RPG right now and MoP holds up so well for that, some of the best zones and quests WoW has had.
Its because Mop is the most vanilla like expansion when it comes to storytelling. You are no saviour of azeroth. You just a champion of the alliance/horde in a new mysterious land. There is no big bad straight away. Just a lot of mysteries.
Farming transmog is one of the ways I enjoy playing the game. MoP raids are kind of a annoying to farm though on retail so I'm purely using Remix as a way to get all the MoP transmogs so I don't have to do them anymore lol. Too a lesser degree, reps and mounts too. I wish I could say I was playing to experience alternate gameplay but at the end of the day, when I do groups/raids and see I still don't ever break past the top 10 DPS and the top 2-3 DPS are doing 5-10 MILLION, it pretty much just feels the same as retail when I do raids/dungeons. Bosses disintegrate before you can even say the word "mechanics" so it feels like there's absolutely no point in using bronze to upgrade my gear. I wouldn't mind a BFA remix. That was the first expansion that I didn't play after the first 2 months because I really couldn't be bothered to have to keep farming Azerite on all my alts. There's a lot of "treadmills" in WoW but that was the first time that it felt like they didn't even bother trying to dress it up into something fun. It was just a miserable grind.
I would love to do Legion again.
I love BfA too! It is so nice to know I am not alone lol! Also I am loving MOP Remix waaay more than I thought I would. Cant stop playing it.
I think the next one will be WoD. Look we can't have the expansion cycle go around again on Classic, not only are the rest of the expansions not "Classic" then we are just repeating past mistakes so instead for newer expansions bring out remix seasonal servers, heck lets bring back remix for expansions that have been phased out of Classic like TBC and Wrath I say; let Classic be Vanilla and Hardcore and whatever the Seasonal server is and let other expansions be remixes instead.
I'm all for a TBC remix
I think the next one will be TBC, between war within and midnight. Makes sense, going back into quelthalas, outland, illidan and then midnight with the sunwell and rewamped elven lands.
Edit: forgot to mention, i would love that.
Most fun I’ve had leveling a charcter in a while, and I’m 100% and alt-aholic, way too many charcters to know what to do with. Everytime there’s a fresh way to level charcters though, I jump on it. I love not being forced into a zone for too long, getting to go at a pace I like or focus on zones I prefer. And I love that all this progress still attributes to my overall progress (unlocking mounts, cosmetics, and expediting a character to 70 for the next expansion)
I think MoP remix is really amazing, but that's purely because MoP was amazing. I don't think the added gems really make the experience much better but I do like the bronze and I should be able to get everything that I want out of the event. I'm just happy redoing these raids and quests along side everyone else playing. Personally the expansion I'd like to see next would be TBC. It's just the most nostalgic expac for me and I love the zones, but realistically I think they're going to do WoD next unfortunately it just makes sense. WoD had good zones and quests but I personally don't really have many good memories from it. Maybe it could be better this time with new remix rules and systems but we will just have to see. I don't want to see a copy paste of the exact same MoP remix but this time in Draenor, I want to see an entire new way to play.
Glad my wife and I have been taking Remix rather slow and steady. After what they did to the heavy frog farmers today, I'm glad I wasn't that far along. I don't think it's entirely the farmers' fault either, since this was something done even when MoP was live in the first place; they knew over farming would happen but didn't do anything about it until people complained. Oh well. Great suggestions for more remixes too, thank you Crendor.
Froggers got gulped and they deserved it 😆
BC, as it (along with Wrath) terribly needs an overhaul!
-updating models and textures.
-touching up to complete reconstruction of faction quests/rewards. (Netherwing former, ogre faction latter)
-add illidian, his allies, and other past lore tidbits like wrath did, but more! (Bronze flight or draenei time/memory manipulation like ff14 echos or draenor with Garosh killing his Bronze dragon collaborator)
-new/updated quests, like say maybe with Area-52 and the netherstorm in general.
Etc.
I think the critique of Bronze used to upgrade gear is valid, however I'm personally having so much fun with this mode, and I haven't run into any of the issues or complaints that others have.
I've just been casually leveling, enjoying the experience with friends, I'm not concerned about gear or even hitting 70 yet, I have no interest in doing power grinds (though nothing against people who enjoy that sort of thing). It's all just hitting the right spot for me, it's fun and nostalgic but the new powers make it interesting enough that it feels fresh, and the collectibles to get are a great goal.
We still have almost 3 months of Remix and I suspect they'll boost Bronze acquisition as we near the end, so I'm just vibing and rolling multiple characters because I'm genuinely enjoying leveling them, I don't feel a pressure right now to min/max or meta anything, I'm not even concerned about upgrading gear.
LEGION, artifacts, Mage Tower, Tomb Of Sargaras
I think it would be cool if they put ReMix in on a rotating basis (Like seasonal, or probably more feasibly not that frequent so it doesn't draw people away from new expansions and such) - so in several iterations we could come back to Pandaria and all the others respectively. They could keep a handful of cosmetics and mounts as "standard" per each expansion remix, in addition to each re-remix having a unique new set of mounts and collectibles that you could only get if you played that particular version. That way, folks that missed out or skipped a version could maybe still get something they might have wanted, while still being incentivized with unique achievements and collectibles for "the current season".
My largest concern is them just rehashing the same "clock of infinite potential" scaling and gem socket abilities over and over again. I think for their first time through each expansion, it's probably fine if they lean into repeating similar types of "powering up" as a test bed for some of these mechanics, but it'll get really stale if they don't switch things up in the long run (assuming there is intention to make this something seasonal).
I feel like any expansion after MoP works for this mode. MoP was the precursor to what current retail WoW has become and it would be nice to have the systems in those expansion be sped up similar to how things are sped up in Remix.
As somone who didnt start untill bfa im realy liking this there has been some ups a downs but being able to do these old quests and feel like im doing something is great
I think legion or the burning crusade would be a great time. Especially if they added new textures to things.
It’s interesting how much uproar it’s created having cosmetics and gear upgrades bought by the same currency in remix. We have exactly the same situation in DF right now. The time limited currency of bullion is used for upgrade gear and for cosmetics but I haven’t heard a single complaint about that.
Draenor, Legion, BfA, they could even do TBC, Wrath, Cata (after Classic cycle moves on ofc).
They need to make WoD the expansion it should have been. I loved the zones, hated the garrisons, it really could have been great and maybe a remix could do that.
So far as someone who's not being super sweaty about it- I love MoP remix. I just don't upgrade my gear so that never affected me, and I buy all the cosmetics I want! I got Clutch of Ji-kun and Astral Cloud Serpent (Elegon one, i forget if thats the right name). So fun!!!
If the currencies were different for gear and cosmetics, as soon as people bought all the cosmetics they’d be asking why they can’t convert their extra cosmetic currency into gear upgrade currency.
Having one currency gives you the choice to do what you want. It gives you player choice and agency.
If remix released with 2 currencies these exact same people would be complaining that it should just be one and let us choose what to do with it.
Currency conversion with or without diminishing returns maybe?
has to be wrath remix, tons of raids tons of potential cosmetics, imagine clearing 25man heroic or 10 man heroic icc and getting a replica frostmourne as a meta achievement reward, maybe the dragon vendors could sell old blanchy the invincible
I'd really like to see Legion, it'd make sense as a timeline the Infinites might want to interfere with, it has a good amount of different zones as well as harder to collect mounts and cosmetics (Renown mounts, Mythic-only mounts, Argus's scythe). Though I wonder what they'd do with Dracthyr/Evokers. Class halls are such a major part of Legion and I'd be curious to see how they'd handle this for the Dracthyr. Also for when TWW hits and Dracthyr could potentially use Chromie time for Legion leveling
A legion remix that lets you get weapon skins you missed, and maybe NPC only gear (Which means every weapon introduced that wouldn't drop as loot because you had you artifact weapon!) could be good, but WoD is most likely.
BFA remix was my first thought because corruptions and the HOA made the last patch crazy fun. But I think it would have to be longer than 3 months for that.
I'm personally loving MoP remix and would love to see them do it with other xpacs BUT whoever at Blizz decided we need to spend currency to upgrade multiple tiers of gear instead of just dropping upgrades while playing (both here and in retail) continues to be my nemesis
As a f2p enjoyer I only have one complaint - that Kun-Lai (and some dungeons) is not available for me even though it is on retail (level requirements are shifted). Otherwise... I love questing, and MoP has a bit goofy, but still great storylines. I became broken OP quickly. I hope at max level people can get broken too rather than struggle with raids.
Love this idea for other expansions like BFA and Warlords. Think that any expansion could be good cuz it takes away systems and its about just doing content and having fun. Im hesitant with Legion because I think they had some of the most boring zones leveling wise (besides Suramar which is one of the best). I just dont think Highmountain or Stormheim fit what we knew of the broken isles and just was put there to have zone diversity. However, the raids and artifact weapons would be great to revist for sure.
Draenor is an opportunity to give us cut content, and redeem the expansion.
I really like MoP Remix! There are def issues, but overall it's very fun! I hadn't played retail since BfA. I've decided to have 1 character spend their bronze on gear upgrades, to eventually try to do mythic SoO for the title. Gonna get the cosmetics from leveling some more alts.
A legion remix sounds awesome too, but I'm excited for any future remix!
I want Legion at some point
we already have our infinitely scaling power artifact (artifact weapons) but I also want to see Evokers get a class hall and artifact weapons
they need to give a finished version of Warlords of Draenor.
For me it would be BfA and Legion. BfA because I started then and I'm very nostalgic for BfA and Legion because I'm sad I missed it and from everything I've seen and heard of it it seems like it would have been my favorite expansion. I'm also hoping we get to see both of these expansions as regular Classic's with some changes.
On gems, I personally really like the system. BUT If it ever goes beyond seasonal content I really hope they make unqiue mechanics for swapping gems from one piece of gear to another.
It's so annoying any time you get an upgrade, or finish a raid or dungeon to slowly take gems out and put them back in.
In many ways, how gear and the gems in MOP Remix is maybe what Azerite armor should have been in BFA.
I'm loving remix! It's been super fun and MoP is one of my favorite expansions. I agree with you that there are many broken things that need to be fixed, however. I think Draenor or Legion would be amazing for the next Remix project. Also yes, get rid of Chromietime or improve it.
I’m genuinely excited for literally any expansion that ends up being next. I’m looking forward to Legion the most and how they end up handling the Artifacts. Even Shadowlands since it could be great in a streamlined, fun environment.
So glad someone else is also saying WOD. I love the transmog from WOD and think getting recolors of it all would just hit the sweet spot in my collecting heart. I would also love Legion and BFA, but no reason they couldn't do this in order, right?
If they do another remix, I don't think it will be anything older than Pandaria. But the expansions since I don't think have as much uncollected stuff as Pandaria. If they did a BFA or Legion remix, I'd want to see the no longer available stuff be obtainable again, the brutosaur for example, and artifact appearances from the Mage Tower.
I want to see BC and Wrath of the lich king for the chance of getting some discontinued mounts again
Would love another one but not so close to other WoW releases (cata)
Ive been loving MoP remix, would love Legion or other expacs.
I love having 1 currency. I'm not having trouble killing anything and I haven't upgraded any gear. I'm treating this like the alt it is. It's something fun to do in the downtime. As for another remix; agreed - BFA and Legion. WoD not so much for me.
This mode is a gem. It's a casuals dream!
I'm not sure if they'll do WoD next but for sure they will do Legion and I would love to experience that. Legion is the best time I have ever had with WoW since WotLK. After that I want BFA. We won't have to deal with azerite armor hopefully and if they do a neck for infinite scaling the same as this cloak I'll be fine with that.
I am enjoying remix and hope we get more. They do need to seriously look at feedback. I feel they should make gear upgrades free/natural.
I'm enjoying it, despite its flaws. Would love to see other Remixes for different versions of the game, going all the way back to TBC.
I would looooove a Legion remix! I never got to play legion, and I’ve heard so many good things, especially in regards to Suramar.
It would be so awesome to get to play around in Suramar at the appropriate levels and sink into the lore & story.
I’m sure it’s gonna happen and I can’t wait
You really missed something. Legion was great!
I think WoD-Shadowlands are all candidates for another remix, though I think legion is the most likely.
Hey Crendor, side note but I really think you should check out Blood Bowl III again, they've patched most of the bugs and it's really starting to look like a good game.
Should’ve just made Cosmetics cost Bronze and Gear requires Platinum
Wrath of the Lich King Remix would be my number 1
I am having fun with it and appreciate them taking chances
I feel kinda bad but I wish they'd be able to do some kinda 'classic remix' where people who didn't get to play back then can get all the mounts and experience the old class set ups but get to see their characters like they are in retail
It's funny to me that you think blizzard can learn from previous issues. We have YET to have an expantion launch that works without issues, so what makes you think that they would be able to fix the scaling in the future?
I'm just using it as a way to quickly level up alts I wouldn't have done otherwise.
Legion remix would be cool being able to play all the storylines without the 11 week time gating and artifact power grinds.
also i'm totally down for 200 more orderhall mounts
I 100% disagree about the currency. I like that no matter what I do in remix I am gaining something I can spend on whatever I want. I don't have to target a specific activity if I want cosmetics etc. I would love to see this game mode in Legion, Draenor, and BFA!
I would love love LOVE a Legion remix
Honestly if they keep the remix coming I can't wait for Cata remix just because the vendors in MoP remix sell the raid mounts and that'd mean the Cata ones probably would too so I can finally stop doing Dragon Soul for mounts.
But if they I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Legion or Wrath get remixes eventually
As someone who love mount/transmog farming, im loving this! More remix plz
Haven't played it, but if they did Legion I would totally try it.
I'd be cool with WoD and Shadowlands (with tweaks to the Maw). Imagine Remix powers based on Torghast.
Legion and BFA are a given.
Shadowlands could be good. Was trying to do it again recently, and it has two main issues:
1) All covenants should be open at the same time with one shared anima pool that's uncapped.
2) There must be portals between each zone in each zone because the time waiting to fly to each zone is DEPRESSING.
The xmogs and mounts are amazing and if they recolored some, it would be well worth 90 days of gameplay.
you think if we get a legion remix we will be able to redo the relic challenges ?
The only reason I'm not playing MoP Remix is the scaling issues, it just makes everything feel bad. I go into a dungeon and people are losing their minds and being toxic if someone is randomly getting 1-shot, when it's not even their fault. Or I made a mistake by levelling up before joining a raid instead of being Lv25 like you're "supposed to" because it's mad broken... But yeah I mean everything else is great and I'm up for anything more like this, just do some basic QA first please Blizz!
BFA minus the mission table
WOD minus the garrison
Shadowlands minus the jailer
these would be next great wow remix
whenever i level an alt through chromie time i go through either BFA or WoD, both have such good leveling experiences.
Also hot take, I really dont think Legion content has aged that well but that's a whole separate conversation
BFA remix with corruptions makes too much sense.
Legion or WotLK would probably be the best options.
using remix mainly to level characters
Can someone explain the issue with the currency? What "gear" are people buying and where? So far every where I've been that has remix vendors the gear has all been cosmetic baring the one weapon vendor who doesn't sell anything you cannot get from drops or reward boxes.
They probably mean the item upgrades which requires bronze
You UPGRADE your gear with Bronze. And it gets very, very expensive at max level.
i want BFA i didnt played back then, didnt get chance to get the AH mount
Unpopular opinion, Shadowlands was great for xmogs and mounts, etc. BUT two things would have to change:
1) All covenants should be open at the same time with one shared anima pool that's uncapped.
2) There must be portals between each zone in each zone because the time waiting to fly to each zone is DEPRESSING.
WoW rRemix is pure fun, it made me to buy the 12 month subscription.
would love WoD maybe get recolors or opportunity for the challenge mode weapons again, the sets were decent, would love legion, BFA would be fun but would need fresh cosmetics, the sets from BFA were just awful looking.
100% legion - they could rework artifact weapons so they work like the cloak of infinite potential. Add new skins and stuff
I was disappointed the farm was left out of MoP remix
Great making more rare mounts redundant.
Hey Crendor, what's your lucky do?!
Even though it's my least favorite expansion conceptually, WoD would be a lot of fun if they added playable arakkoa and ogres.
Even with its flaws, if you were to tell me Blizzard would end up doing what they've done with Remix 5 years ago I would've had a hard time believing it. It's the perfect way to reuse over a decade of content and make it fun and memorable like before; I can't wait for a Legion Remix with unused artifact appearances !
Want CATA Remix
It's..... okay. I think it'd be way cooler if the didn't totally gut the stat carry over on the cloak, specifically the xp, but the other stats too. Like, imagine, you are making your 30th alt for whatever reason, you kill 1 mob, and since all 29 other cloaks you leveled up were cumulative, you ding 70 off of that 1 kill. It's your 30th alt, it's not like you haven't spent the time playing the game, and I think it'd be funny. They sold MoP remix as a crazy power fantasy speedrun god mode game type and gave us..... just MoP with some teir set esque effects, but at max level the scaling is so bad in group content you don't feel powerful AT ALL, unless you killed a billion frogs and get tickled by what would one shot another player that didn't.
a culmination of SoD being terrible, cataclysm being pointless, and mop remix being swag + War Within looking decent after dragonflight was supposedly good... first time I've been back to retail since BFA. I swear they planned this funnel all along since the start of SoD's release.. but that'd be too gigabrain for them... but maybe
MoP remix is so damn fun tho
Hello, wowcrendor, Can I translate your Video in nautab into Russian (with mention of the author)?? please
Legion
I don't think WoD will happen, there's so much negativity around that expansion that Blizzard will do everything they can to avoid it. For me Legion is number 1 by far and it's not even close, playing a remix-like event for Legion would be amazing.
Crenglitchdor 😂
To be honest, I did NOT enjoy Draenor. It was probably my least favourite expansion. That said, I think if it were remixed I would really come to enjoy it. I also didn't get a lot of time to really enjoy Legion - if it were to come back as a remixed expansion, I would definitely be excited to check it out!
It'll be Legion. It was the last genuinely good expansion.
Mop Remix?
Ah, that new WoW thingy where everyone is SCREAMING AND SHOUTING ABOUT FROGS, WHAT IS THIS ANIMAL PLANET???
jokes aside, it's pretty good for casuals. I don't ever raid in groups and I don't have any issue with the gems or anything, but surely someone more competitive who raids, do Mythics, etc will see the tiny imbalances. At least you can earn the currency whether you're casual or competitive.
it seems like it would just take away interest from future classic expacs
Please no Shadowlands Remix. I took one character there, got as far as Zereth, and that's it. No more. Never again. If they blew Oribos to smithereens I still wouldn't go.
I do not love Legion. It's been carried by the bad rep of WoD. It marked the death of wow for me with mythic+ replacing challengemodes and the introduction of eternal artifact grind. I'd personally would love to see a WoD remix since the remix will change up the Gameplay. Wod had great content, just not enough for a whole expansion.
I'm curently addicted to mop remix. I love that we only have 1 currency. The more you power your gear, the faster you gain more bronze! I think the crying about upgrade costs will stop as more time passes.
Back to basics . A real modernised classic plus . Try to bring back the magic of original WoW. Forget all this foolish rehash of old expansions with gimmicks. A real alternative to 'retail' is needed. Maybe then I will subscribe to WoW again .
Shadowlands Remix! The twist is that we just get rid of the Jailor in the entire story. That's it.
😂😂 this made me lol
I am slowly playing and after getting to 70 mostly just log in to do the dungeon finder dailies each day. I am definitely benefiting from all the changes from complaints but think its overdone. This mode will be out for 3 months, so I am not trying to burn out on it and never going to farm. When I do play I will continue to just do all the quests in each zone. Over time I am sure I will be really strong just from normal gameplay. I am really not a fan of this type of content. Wow revolves around twitch and youtube content creators too much. The vocal minority that complains about what some people without jobs do is not relevant to the majority of players. I continue to play and come back to wow because it will always be there. if I unsub for a period of time because I am not having fun or life happens I enjoy being able to come back and catch up but with these limited events if you miss it then its gone forever. That is why I avoid the classic game modes because I can not keep up with a faster pace schedule. I can barely keep up with retail wow.
BFA
