It was so lovely to meet you and see your wonderful garden in ‘real life’. I hope I got most of the plant names right, I’m learning new things all the time! The new Sidalcea ‘Elsie Heugh’ and Catananche caerulea I bought at your nursery are settling in well to my garden. I love your refreshing & practical advice. Keep up the good work Jenny
What a treat! I love watching JL and his garden looks even more beautiful the way you filmed it, what a fantastic display! And Murphy!!! So cute & happy to have you back I bet. 💗
It really was more beautiful in real life and a bit unreal meeting John. He was, of course, exactly as he appears on screen, really good fun! We got a great welcome home from Murphy 🐶 It’s good to be back home 🏠 🌻
Yes, he’s such a breath of fresh air, such a personality! Liked the video recently in which he was hitting his rose bush with a spade to dead head it- absolutely hilarious, don’t get that on the BBC!
It was lovely seeing John Lords garden through your eyes. He is truly an extraordinary gardener, and I have learned so much from watching his videos. I hope I can meet him some day. Thank you for sharing your visit with us.
This man is a plant genius. I learned so much from watching his videos. Hope to visit his garden myself if I ever take a trip out to Ireland from New York. TY!
Yes, it was a great stop off on our way to Dublin to get the ferry home. He’s just great and we were thrilled to meet him. He’s exactly as you would expect, good fun and lovely.
How exciting that you were able to visit Ratoath Garden Center!!! It was interesting seeing John's lovely garden from your perspective. He is such an inspirational gardener and I've learned so much from him.
Me too! It was such a thrill to actually go there and even better to meet John. He was exactly as you would expect so fun but incredibly knowledgeable, the best qualities in any teacher! Thank for watching Jenny
I know it sounds dorky, but if I go to Ireland, this is one of my dream destinations, but only if JL is there. I love his energy and his mannerisms. He has the Julia Childe vibe of the expert that wants to share knowledge rather than "Lord" it over folks.
Doesn’t sound dorky to me, I wanted to go too!!! We were very lucky to meet him as it was his day off but he just happened to pop in. He was incredibly down to earth and exactly as he appears on his channel. None of the faff, just gets on with it, he’s great! Thanks for watching Jenny
I enjoyed seeing this , I watch him too! Doubt I will ever make it there though...so thanks for sharing! @3:10 you called that yellow flower crocosmia, but I think it is a day lily. The blooms don't look like crocosmia.
Thanks for that lovely video about our garden. Totally unexpected and very professionally done.

Thank you, yes, John is fab!
I adore John Lord. He is a superb witty master gardener. It is cool to see it from a different view. Jealous from Minnesota.
