a slightly longer video than normal, I hope you have made it to the end :) Do you want me to make longer videos more often, or do you find videos of five minutes long enough to watch? Please let me know! Thanks for watching and have a awesome day! Cheers, Martijn
Amazing cinematography, this is art in its purest form. I like the barge in the backround and the turbine blades spinning across the field. The specialized equipment makes the job much easier and you are the best at showing how things work. Great job, you are a pro at this!
Thank you as always for all the work you put into recording all the footage for these, never mind all the work to put them together. I like the longer format; anything between five and about fifteen minutes is fine with me!
Very interesting to follow the process to factory. I find your video fine, even longer than normal it was still interesting to follow for me. Thank you for sharing your story. God bless you and your family
Fijn weekend! Mvg, Jan.
As always a Great video, it was nice to the harvesting and then loading and off to the processing plant. The two machines used were fascinating 👍. Short or long videos are all great , and very much appreciated.
A great video !! Chicory harvest made me recall the old 1940's song by Sammy Kay; Chickery chick, cha-la, cha-la Check-a-la romey in a bananika Bollika, wollika, can't you see Chickery chick is me? A great video !! I love the machinery involved. You're a great movie maker !!
A lot of people don’t really think about the kind of work and technology that goes into putting food on the shelves at their local grocery stores, which is kind of sad really.
A good made Video. Nice Vievs, good quality , many cameraangles which makes the vid interesting. All connected with a light ´n smooth sound. Just great!
I really like the longer 'field to pack house' type of films. All your films are great, and it is interesting to compare the Dutch methods with ours here in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Keep up the good work.
They do this because in this way each of the wheels ride in a different track, so you have a bigger footprint and reduce the soil compaction. This machine weights about 30 tons empty.
Why dump and leave them in the field instead of taking them directly to the processor? Seems like it creates an extra step of loading them a second time?
My neigbour is a farmer and he has so much machines he bought new kline for sugar bulbs and so on fanatik in to farming technology allways new machines to be happy he has eaven he doasnt drive anything else than his 4x4
Superb camera images, highly informative - could have run for another 5min or so, without losing interest. I was actually reassured to see the flocks of gulls following the crop lifter, something not often seen apart from the odd crow. It suggests, to me anyway, the presence of worms and grubs in the soil, in turn suggesting a sparing use of chemical pesticides. I hope that's the case.
Is it a different machine that picked up the pile or just a different head on the same harvester? I was curious because the conveyor on the back was completely different too. But, it would be kind of crazy to have a dedicated machine just to pick up the root piles.
Why is it left in piles for 2 weeks before taking it to the factory? Why not dumping straight from the harvester into the transporter? I really need to know.
Serious!? Pick up beets since night to morning!? Farming Simulator take only 10 to 30 mins depends on how much. Interesting :3 enjoy to see compare! ♥️
What a strange machine. I wonder: why is it more efficient to have one machine to harvest and transport than the usual one for harvest, one for transport system?
It requires less manpower which is becoming the limiting factor of agriculture today, to make a living wage in the usa off being an AG worker you have to be paid a pretty steep price and for alot of farms you only need workers for 2-3 months of the year.

Five Minutes are enough :) but great Video
Hi Marijn, great video as always! I believe videos of around 5 minutes are about right. This video did work well & I watched to the end!!👍
Perfect lenght this one
of course we want
I think short videos are great all the time, with the occasional long video like this, maybe once a month or so
Its a perfect length of the video. Also i like, that u showed us the full circle from harvest to delivery to the factory.
You are truly the Francis Ford Coppola of farm tech videos.
I drink Luzianne chickory coffee here every day, in South Carolina. Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Louisiana, since 1976.
*The video length is just right, and I appreciate the full circle view from harvest to delivery at the factory. Well done!* 👍
I wish all these videos had a voice over to explain what's going on rather than the written commentary. I appreciate your work either way! Thank you!

Beau boulot

What would i do without your channel mate. Thank You for brigthen up my day. Greeting from Germany. Goed gedaan, bedaankt ;)

Chickery chick is me? A great video !! I love the machinery involved. You're a great movie maker !!
two of most beautiful machines in agriculture
A lot of people don’t really think about the kind of work and technology that goes into putting food on the shelves at their local grocery stores, which is kind of sad really.

I am curious to know if Chicory roots are grown in the Fens. Is this the case?
Another awesome video! They are very efficient with harvesting these root vegetables. That machine is really something else to see.
A fantastic machine; being an engineer I can't help but think about how much maintenance is required. A GREAT video. I love the detail camera shots.
A great video to watch.👍
Amazing video keep up the good work have a wonderful weekend
You’re videos are very amazing great catch I like your video so much
Working in the shadow of that windmill would drive me nuts.
11:55 the drivers has a spanish flag inside the truck's cabin
Amazing! Thanks for this marvellous and interesting vídeo! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
a lot of work went into this video the detail is great -- good work
Its about season again here in Denmark, hope im going to work at the factory again in the season this year.
Excellent video!
The best channel!!
Mooie film Martijn💪👨🌾🚜
At 3:45 you could have slipped in a little bit of Terminator sound, lol excellent video
great video
a bit longer is not a problem
it would be great to see the end product
thank you
perfect job perfect channel
Wow cool video
great video
Can someone tell me why these sort of harvesters crab instead of just going straight always wondered ??
They do this because in this way each of the wheels ride in a different track, so you have a bigger footprint and reduce the soil compaction. This machine weights about 30 tons empty.
Are the birds looking for worms that have been stirred up?
Yes - the worms think the machinery's vibration is rain and come to the surface. Or at least that's my understanding of it
this is beautiful
Very impressive.
Great amazing😃😃
Why dump and leave them in the field instead of taking them directly to the processor? Seems like it creates an extra step of loading them a second time?
Nice Video !
Great video, like to watch longer videos.
Good video! Thank you!
This is pretty cool.
Nice video
Pete the legend x
santa claus brought me a new tractor video
Good video like the longer videos.
Super
Thanks for your sharing

super, nice video.
Wow amazing
Joselico gracias Dios 🙏🏻🇺🇸🏦🛠💪🏻
Well, I wouldn't mind longer vids like this. Also, will you be doing like a bts on how you plan all of this out?
Interesting - Thanks

I appreciate the video, awesome as always. However, why wait 2 weeks before taking it off the ground? Is there any reason for this?
I have never seen something g like this
I believe we call them "sugar Beets" across the pond.
VERY VERY NICE GOOD 😍👏👏👏👍

Bonjour, merci pour cette vidéo
Olé esa bandera de España!!!!!!
How do you clean root weeds by spraying? or maybe with a hook
regards
sure is nice to farm there !

Great! :)
Damn cikorie, keep it out of oatsmilk as they call it,,not in ricemilk,so able to drink that without lower regional problems.

Is that the Chicory Root Jazz Beat song @ 10:10? I like it!
What is the reason for discharging onto the field instead of straight to the truck? Drying time?
Nah The Factory does not need them yet, works with a schedule.
Looks like sugar beet being delivered to the factory to me
Yes, it seems like sugar beet, but it's named chicory root. I can't understand what is it?
so what do they do with the mega pile after it's all harvested? like whats the most time effective to pick up all that stuff without damaging it
Seems I watch all your videos but ?? Have never subscribed... 👍👆 Ring Bell 🚜👍👍🐸 just Did
How fast was to operating speed when harvesting?
About 2km/h, this is needed to get the roots in one part out of the ground, if you drive faster the roots can break and you lose yield.
Ah, thanks for the info
Okay I know that I am a dumb oldish Scotsman but what is chicory root and how do you use it in cooking
I can't imagine what these specialized machines cost
Akademee half a million? Maybe more..
Yea, I also wonder if the machinery cost in Farming Simulator games are accurate enough 😁😁
Dimaz some are, some aren’t.
550000 for the machine
And 100000+ for the header
But this was a couple of year back might have chase since than
what’s the purpose of the crab steering?
Why double handling? Instead of harvest and drop on the floor why can't he load straight into the lorry?
curing/drying time
happygardener28 thanks!
