  • Planting Brussels Sprouts seedlings using a fully automatic TTS transplanter from arable farm Verdonk of Ooltgensplaat in the Netherlands. The combination consists further of a 4,5 wide Baselier rotary tiller and Fendt 724 vario.
The TTS Brassica Transplanter uses 6 robots, one for each row, with capacity of 6000 plants per robot per hour times 6 robots is 36000 plants per hour.
The big advantage, in addition to the great capacity, of this machine is that it replaces 6 workers. Normally, at least 6 workers are needed for a six -row machine, now only 1 to feed the plant robot with seedling trays
    Thanks for watching!

I love brussel sprouts, especially in a fry up with left over roast potatos. Fantastic piece of kit.

Я в шоке. Такая сложная машина, и так слаженно работает. Пока не посмотришь этот канал, не задумываешься, от куда это всё берётся, как это всё выращивают.

Hopefully the return of investment is good on brussel sprouts because that transplanter looks very expensive

Everything is expensive with farming and that's coming from a guy who is farming accutly

@@ArkhamGhost295 Nothing as expensive as people and trying to get them, when you need them. They seem to be planting quite close together. I used plant about 24" X 24".

What about missing plants in the trays? Does this type of robot have a system for refilling them or do these remain empty places in the field that may be filled in manually afterwards?

Where I do some contracting work we have 2, 5 row TTS machines . dont be fooled by this video the machines are utter garbage constantly blocking either at drop point and where the black plastic cups open, the ouput at 6000plants per robot per hour is incredibly slow . You adjust spacing by the speed you travel???. Rely on a 1950s method of putting plants in ground I E dropping them . modern method is to place with a belt . Sorry but not the step forward the industry needs.
