When I travel with my son, I always try to look for a story. Even a "boring" beginning, middle, and end of the day is better than no story at all. Great channel name, by the way.

Great video. The tip about a dedicated camera is so good. When I look at my phone I associate it with so many other things whereas a camera is for pictures or videos. With the popularity and an availability of used digicams and action cams you can get a decent dedicated “video” camera for $50. I would add to leave the family video camera out where you see it to be reminded to capture those moments and to be able to do so easily and quickly.

I love this concept. Any suggestions on cutting footage together? Like, just drop all the footage in a long video without edits?
That sort of reminds me of our old family movies. 5 minutes of footage, followed by a little static, and then the video picks up like a month later with different people at an entirely different location 😂
