@malayaMcLovin probably dry, because then the sugars will carmelize and turn ooey-gooey and delish. If it's already melted, there may not be the ooey-gooey mixture you're lookin for. Dunno why hers looked melted, but I'm sure it would be good if it was melted, but it would be better dry. Hope that helped!
You can buy egg replacer on the internet. Shipping is expensive, but it is available. Agave nectar is a sweet syrup. I finally found it in Israel. Expensive but healthier than other sweet syrups.

i was just thrown off because i didint have self rising flour and i didint want to mess it up. but either way it was my dinner and dessert i could have eaten the whole thing, maybe i was hungry or my possible pregnancy cravings :) and yes understod fried isnt the healthiest. i do have this baked empanada recipe i could recommend you to do, i beleive u would love them. i fill mine with potatoes and yams and onions and herbs and spices. delicious :)

YES. There is no actual egg in the Egg Replacer. I have an egg allergy, and I've been using it for years. Something else you might also want to try-- The Vegg (vegan egg yolk product). Just Google it and you'll find the website. It's wonderful. :)

I tried this with flax seeds that have been grinded to almost a powder like texture and a little water .( Flax looses alot of its nutritional value when heated but it is a great binder).

Anyway I don't really trust buying food online, so I think I'm supposed to be waiting for me to go to America and easily find everything I need; to replace eggs I think I'm gonna use apple sauce for the moment... Most probably, cause non vegan recipes use butter and that's a butter substitute.
