    There's an old saying out there and it goes like this "The same things that make you laugh, will make you cry". Golden St. got Durant underhandedly from the Thunder and then couldn't keep him because they didn't really know the type of person they were dealing with in terms of Durant's very sensitive nature.

    Draymond drove out KD for self preservation. He knew that if KD resigned for long term GSW would not be able to afford to pay him the max. KD leaves Draymond gets his big contract....mission accomplished.

      I have to disagree with you brother. The Raptors were fully locked in and Nick Nurse was coaching circles around Kerr. The warriors were able to beat the Raptors once at home all season. The raptors clearly wasn't intimidated or scared of the moment/warriors. The warriors would have to wear them down which wasn't happening. If Durant played it would have been at dogfight 7 game series.

      @@jreid1222 well you're saying this under the assumption that the Raptors defence wouldn't adjust and would allow Durant to hit jumpers on the perimeter all series on his pace. Yet the Raptors were able to adjust to Giannis, Embiid and Steph Curry to nullify those stars. A defensive line up of kawhi ibaka gasol siakam and green. Is stronger than anything Durant has face defensively in the playoffs. Not to mention his legs would wear down guarding siakam and kawhi all day. But that's something people should keep in mind as well. But congratulations to the Raptors and I hope Durant gets well.

    • @enlightenedchild8373
      @enlightenedchild8373 5 років тому

      MrAgainstallodds78 You’re acting like the Raptors are a ‘great’ team. The Raptors aren’t a great team. They were an extremely ‘lucky’ team to meet a wounded Warriors squad. The Raptors are basically a one trick pony. They will NEVER win another championship again. You can mark my words ...they will never win another championship in their existence as an organization. But you’re trying to sit here and have people to believe that they were better than a team that went to 5 straight Finals. If Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant were healthy, Toronto wouldn’t have won more than 1 game (if that) !

    • @MrAgainstallodds78
      @MrAgainstallodds78 5 років тому +4

      @@enlightenedchild8373 Those same warriors that couldn't even beat them once all year at home? With or without Klay or KD? You can call them a "one trick pony" but Kawhi, lowry and gasol will all be in the hall of fame at the end of the day. It was an all time great team. Versus an all time great defensive team. The defense won this round.The warriors haven't played a team that good defensive in the finals in their run. So now you're claiming we'll never win another championship. After we are only 25 year in as a franchise. Yet we've been consistently good for 7 straight years. And we have a top 3 front office? Okay I guess the salt is real for you. But don't worry on November 22 you can Skype KD from his hospital room and you can watch the banner go up together.

    • @humungustrike4497

      Dramon’s reasoning most likely stemmed knowing KD was leaving and over emotional nature. If they knew he was coming back I highly doubt they would have played him in the finals. Curtis Barlow bingo. I honestly believe this whole ordeal showed me something about Durant. He has the tools to be the guy but he needs stars to take the pressure. Since GSW offense is Based in Steph, Durant can operate within the scheme and basically be care free due to Curry’s gravity. Put any player next to Curry, then tend to excel.

    Great video as always, but you gotta remember when KD said who could give him the most money he did not mean only on the court. As we all know, half the reason he took the original discount in Year 2 of GS, was because Joe Lacob hooked him up with venture capital and tech moneymakers. The "money" comment always meant on and off the court--GS contract and Lacob's contacts vs whatever NY team's contract and media opportunities in NYC off the court. In fairness, he and his agent have been clear on that.

      ThruThaEyesOF Cam Brotha I would say KD played with talented teams but I wouldn’t call them stacked. Calling the teams KD played stacked is like calling teams Howard played for on the magic stacked. The year Dwight went to the finals he had 2 all-stars (Nelson and Lewis) and Hedo with Pietrus and other shooters. One year KD had a all star and a sixth man and a few other carso offs and players that weren’t in their prime or out of it. Ibaka quiet as kept is just entering his prime and had his best year. Harden was awful in the Final’s against the heat (12 ppg on 38% shooting) Westbrook averaged 25 in that series on 24 shots 43% shooting which is terrible. After Harden left KD had no one to balance out Westbrook’s nonsense. I would have loved for KD to have played with Harden again that might have been championship when KD came back for injury. The Warriors are lucky they Got anything for Durant in a sign and trade. I would have loved to see James Harden and Durant together

Yet here we are with the fallout of KD and warriors management incl. their GM or President of operations making comments from they're victory parade, where he perceived it as a joke, 'cept KD... You're a golden state sympathizer... This was a team that wasn't really organic and hurt the NBA product... Getting KD with the amount of talent that they already had was the most sucker move done in NBA history (73-9)... And everyone around the NBA knew it... So of course he didn't get the love he wanted... KD is not someone that hard to figure out... He wants the same love he got in OKC without having to play with a mentally ill basket case like westbrick... That's all... Green telling him that they didn't need him was the final straw... Why is everyone acting like KD's contributions weren't downplayed? KD leaving makes the NBA exciting again... Your problem is that you want Bron to fail so much that you couldn't care less about a team packed full of talent... As long as Bron doesn't get another ring...

      @@chroniclesofjudah144 I don't know... But going into the 16-17 season with KD coming off of a 73-9 season, and only losing to lebron because Draymond was unable to stop fouling men on their penises, made acquiring KD a sucker move... they were loaded...

      As far as golden state making the move I agree... You're in it to win... But as far as how it makes KD look... You had to join a 73-9 team to do it... But thank you for responding brother... I love your videos... Will you be making any religious videos? You are truly gifted...

    i believe it is the opposite my friend.
    KD took GS for granted.
    he was never going to stay, and everybody knew that.
    draymond green knew that and that's why he made that scene.
    KD's ego got the better of him, and made him leave a place like GS.
    KD doesn't deserve GS and soon he will find out his mistake, to leave such a good place that gave him all (including 2 rings).

      naa, KD wanted to go out big.
      first, he is a competitor.
      second, he's whole issue with GS was "to show them" he is the important part and that they can't win without him.
      that's why he came back.
      to go out as the ultimate winner and hero that saved them - you can't do this without me!

    Golden State rode KD and Clay Thompson like broke down mules. Both had injuries that your body must adjust to if you try to play on the injury and will lead to another injury somewhere else in your body. Anyone in and out of sports who have had injuries as they did knew they should have not played after their initial injury. Now both of them will not be the same players. Ever again. Regardless of what they say. The good news is Clay got paid and KD also.
