Judah. Brother only thing i challenge you on throughout this entire video is Anthony Davis is not the reason the "team" performs well defensively. We've seen AD be considered a top defensive player throughout his Pelicans tenure and the Pelicans were still nothing special defensively with multiple above average/good defenders in their starting lineup. Frank Vogel is a defensive coach. His Pacers were great defensively and now the Lakers are playing great. They play tough and unlike most of the NBA the Lakers dont switch on Screens. The guards fight over the top of most of them since the Laker bigs are mobile enough to hedge while the 2nd big checks the roll man. Thats a defensive gameplan in place and hes utilizing his talent to their strengths.
remember they said Curry and Durant would take votes from each other so neither would have a chance at MVP, but when it comes to lebron that doesn't apply even though Davis is leading in most of the the team stats. They barely even talk about about Davis and I think he sees it. The Lebron media runs off great teammates.

I think it’s because KD and Stephs game are somewhat dupilicative hence their numbers would go down somewhat. But AD and LeBron are more Complementary in their style of play so you don’t see numbers going down, but LBJ asts up as an example as much and again it’s slight even in KD/Steph case but numbers were down for them when they played together.

That’s the price Lebron pays for bringing in Anthony Davis to disrupt the Lakers team dynamic. Individual awards are not a good indicator of how good players are, especially in today's era where the narrative is more important than the facts. We've seen the media remove Steph and KD from the race because both of them were on the same team, even when KD was injured and Steph still lead them to 67 wins, 2020 they tried stealing it from Giannis for reason that were not basketball related and they successfully did that to Jokic this past season. Michael Jordan also suffered from this in the past along with Larry Bird. They are important, don't get me wrong, but they are not a good way to judge a player's individual brilliance.

If we’re gonna go by the adage “you’re only as strong as your weakest link”, all you have to do is compare at the bottom 4 of both conferences . West teams have more wins which could be argued that they are tougher opponents and have “stolen” more wins against the playoffs teams as it stands (from 1-8 seed).
Also on Head to Heads vs West if we took away Milwaukee and LA Lakers the remainder of the top 5 teams in the West would still average a better record vs the East based on the current numbers .

But AD and LeBron are more Complementary in their style of play so you don’t see numbers going down, but LBJ asts up as an example as much and again it’s slight even in KD/Steph case but numbers were down for them when they played together.

Hey Judah, I pose this question to you: Have you noticed that the media is not saying that AD and Bron cancel out each other for MVP much like they kept saying that for KD and Steph. I agree partially don't get me wrong I do believe that the media has lebron plants in it and that lebron and AD shouldn't get MVP cuz they cancel each other out but, kd joined a team that broke the single season winning record without him and were already prior champs. Lakers ain't won in a decade plus. It's a little diffrent in my opinion

Individual awards are not a good indicator of how good players are, especially in today's era where the narrative is more important than the facts. We've seen the media remove Steph and KD from the race because both of them were on the same team, even when KD was injured and Steph still lead them to 67 wins, 2020 they tried stealing it from Giannis for reason that were not basketball related and they successfully did that to Jokic this past season. Michael Jordan also suffered from this in the past along with Larry Bird. They are important, don't get me wrong, but they are not a good way to judge a player's individual brilliance.
