Hello… Do you Make Custom Sheaths?? As I have LionSteel Hunter M3(Ruffle a 4.25”-4.5” Fixed Blade w/Thick A$$ Tang/Spine on it. I Desperately, Desperately NEED a Sheath Made for it that Can be Attached to my Multi-Cam HSGI 1.75” “Operators Belt”(w/Integrated D-Ring). I’d like to follow belt(parallel to floor), to follow belt line between 12:30-2:30 o’clock allowing me to Access/Draw it w/ my Left Hand from just across my center line just over my right side. Thank you for your time. The Sheaths in the Video definitely look like they Kick A$$.
Great set ups. With 30 years design experience myself, you make the best sheaths I've seen yet. Are you using .08 with .06 over top (.28 total )with a .25 rivet? I'm planning the same thicknesses and trying to figure how it will work. I couldn't find anything anywhere online to point me in the right direction.
@@BlackBearCustomKydex Thanks for sharing. And so quickly. So you're using a lot of boltaron. I can see why with the bigger knives, but for an Ontario Tak1, I might try and stick with .08 and .06 since I already have the kydex. I was hoping the GS 8-12 would be long enough for that.
@@Damen0530 to get a full workup on a custom sheath you get on my waitlist through my website. If you just want to see what options exist, browsing my UA-cam and Instagram are the best. I'd recommend trying to stay within the past 2 hearts for the most up to date stuff
Yes they do! If you search UA-cam for "ESEE 5 Kydex sheath" and browse the results, you'll see a setup I made for the venom green ESEE 5 with orange scales in clear Kydex. It's cool stuff, but it does scratch more easily than tinted options, probably because the surface is so smooth, rather than textured like most Kydex. I recommend against it for most projects, but it certainly has its applications
Outstanding work as always!!! I dont know how I feel about those adjustable ferro rod holders lol but I understand why they're like that, maybe its just that they're square and the rest of the sheath is more angular. However that does give maximum versatility which is always a bonus, and as long as the customer is happy it really doesn't matter what I think lol. Great job my friend!!! 👍
I'm on the fence with them as well, honestly. I'm not a fan of the look for the exact reason you mentioned, but I can't think of a good solution to make it ambidextrous, as well as mount down on the edge. Definitely haunting my thoughts late at night, so maybe you'll see something on my channel soon that solves the problem haha

I generally use 093 for the base with either 093 or 080 over it. For eyelets, look for "gs 8-12" and "siska s-66"
