    I’ve owned and shot guns since I was 9-10 years old. I have always had the normal shotgun, .22 rifle, etc. Several years ago I bought my first handgun, and by the time I bought #3 I had gotten my FFL, and started selling them. Along the way, I picked up some rifles, many more handguns, and some shotguns both new and through some used gun deals. Then the ARs started popping up ! First I bought one, then I built one, then a couple Ar pistols.... and next thing you know I’m up in the 40 gun range. The point is, don’t expect a collection if you arent buying a couple few a year. They do add up.

    Hello, I wanted to amend my comment, especially considering your thoughtful reply. All I meant to say is that this video is a little too complicated for home builders. I really think that a demo for consumers that shows the simplicity and an easy installation would help sell more to this market and offer us other options than the few that are currently available. If the system is used by the US Military, than it definitely is awesome! Thanks for replying, and good luck with the business!

    • @TomKubiniec-Secureit
      @TomKubiniec-Secureit 2 роки тому +1

      I am sorry you do not like the vid or the system. Please note: This system was originally developed for Military applications. -SecureIt is the primary supplier to the US military for small arms storage systems.
      Consumers who saw the system on our military website, requested retail pricing and assistance building gun rooms. We did not originally intend this for consumers but the demand continued to grow. I realize this is an involved installation. In many cases, our customers hire contractors to build the room or a wall. This video walks you or a contractor through the process to build the system. This was never designed for homeowners with limited or no construction experience. We only offer it because so many people asked for it.

    Really cool room with awesome guns. Totally illegal where I live. Something like that would get you arrested and jailed. It has to do with what is termed as improper storage of firearms. And gun owners guns are in the process of being confiscated here. Most gun owners have already been made into instant criminals through government action. Guns are in the process of being made illegal in Canada. With all the rules, regulations, restrictions, bylaws and County, Provincial and Federal laws there isn't much you can do with your guns. A gun room like displayed in this video is in the realm of a fantasy in Canada. I hope you guys appreciate the freedoms that you have.

    • @hollaschracing3753
      @hollaschracing3753 4 роки тому

      Here's the definition for storage of a restricted firearm, "An individual may store a restricted firearm only if; rendered inoperable by means of a secure locking device and stored in a container, receptacle or room that is kept securely locked and that is constructed so that it cannot readily be broken open or into,"
      You can build this room, but make sure your home insurance covers the $$$$$ value of them. That's the reason I still have a fire/water rated safe.

    • @hardrock1826
      @hardrock1826 4 роки тому

      @@hollaschracing3753 I don't know where you are but here, you can't have firearms on hangers or racks on the wall. Already been through that issue. And generally the same applies to having long guns on a rack in the old pick up. Don't matter if they have trigger locks either. Severe restrictions here and they are about to get a lot worse.

    • @omgMBP
      @omgMBP 4 роки тому

      @@hardrock1826 what's the line between a container/safe to a room that is a safe? That seems hard to enforce... something like this is a conversion of a room into a safe. How does that work along the lines of these restrictions you and the OP are referring to?

    • @hardrock1826
      @hardrock1826 4 роки тому

      @@omgMBP This gun room access just looked like a couple of hinged book shelves. Locked or not, that's far from secure. As the fellow was standing there, I could see light at the top of the door from inside the room. And here, a room does not constitute a "Safe." You can have guns locked and stored in a locked room closet with a locked door made of secure materials, like solid wood, not a curtain or bi-fold type door, etc. But there are limits to that. And ammo needs to also be stored in a secure locked containment apart from firearms.
      Safes are usually made of steel, in most houses, rooms are contained with wallboard/drywall. Hard for most to penetrate a safe but most people don't have much trouble penetrating wallboard with something like a hammer. That's why a room or closet on its own is not really secure. You can have a safe enclosed in a Man Cave Gun Room, as long as the guns are in the safe.
      Mind you I'm sure you could have a Gun Room like in the video with your guns on the wall. But if word gets around you could get reported on. And you could get caught on a random check. The more guns and type that they know you have. You can expect to be under close scrutiny.

    • @omgMBP
      @omgMBP 4 роки тому

      Hardrock I well understand that this is *not* a “safe” room. But your points are well taken. Where I am, in the lower half of the USA, we just simply don’t have these restrictions. Your home is your castle, and - aside from insurance concerns - you’re allowed to do as you please with firearm storage inside that home. - there are certain exceptions for some NFA firearms, for sure.
      Interesting to learn about other people and their various limitations to rights due to gun control policies. Thanks for the reply!

Especially when a semi auto costs about $20k now, but they have plastic rpg-7's (which demilled only cost $800). I wouldn't hang anything that heavy over my workbench so that it comes crashing down onto my head, but I guess they trust the 6 screws they put into that panel to secure it into the plywood (not studs) they have behind these metal panels. Very safe, and very honest video, of a guy in upstate NY with a 50 cal machine gun that Cuomo or the Dems haven't arrested him for yet.

    When we built our new house the front porch now has a 8 inch thick concrete reinforced (or ceiling as it were in the room) floor and everything under the porch is hollow we weatherproofed it. We sprayed foam on the walls and ceiling, it's like a cave but it's about 20 ft long by 10 ft wide and that's where I have my gun safes. it's also a storm room we didn't put a big vault door on it but I do have a steel door and then you swing the cabinets out similar to this video there's the steel door which is just a basic steel exterior door with the deadbolt on it it's very nice but not as nice as this one.
    A buddy of mine built a similar room in his house but it has a safe vault door as an entry door I'm a little too paranoid and claustrophobic for that I'm not going in there and shutting that big door behind me LOL.

    I’m curious do you guys intend to ad any form of racks for gear as well? it would be super cool if you guys had some type of gear hanger system for plate carriers and other gear that would be stored with the weapons other than that very cool product

    • @TomKubiniec-Secureit
      @TomKubiniec-Secureit 5 років тому +2

      Great comment! We are looking at different ways to expand applications of the system. Currently there are many ways to store gear with this system. The horizontal rifle mounts also work as hooks for hanging gear (weight capacity is almost 100lbs per hook), The pistol pegs are also used for hanging lighter gear. The shelves can hold 60 lbs each. We will also be adding large bins ( up to 24" x 22" ) with 300lb capacity.

      @@nicolasfuller2916 Yes! Our core business is building military armories. We developed this system in 2008-9 working under contract with US Army Special Forces. Our goal was a flexible armory solution that could adapt to a wide variety of situations. The system is also compatible with a lot of COTs (commercial off the shelf) products. We are now the largest builder of military armories. This Craddlegrid system is used all over the world. There are so many ways this system can be used. We will be posting a series of articles on different applications. Make sure to subscribe to our email list. Note: we do not send out a bunch of spamy sales BS, we send out a brief email with a list of articles and videos that are new and on point to what is happening in the industry.

      Replica .50's are around. That MK19 was custom build by a machine shop for us. We wanted to show military clients how our system could adapt from an M4 to a MK19 to M2 with just the on (cradle) moving part. I'd love to mount that on my son 1971 VW bug.
