I was there, Bubble 1 Row 1..And it was amazing!!!! A wonderful experience.
How hot was it inside the bubble? How was going to the bathroom? Was it easy to get a drink?
How did it stay inflated yet allow you to breathe? Did any bubbles pop?
@@bt4dapeople We where in the bubbles for 2 songs. Assassins of Youth and Brother Eye. They played them twice. They let us use the bathroom while we where standing in line waiting to go inside. They provided 2 bottles of water and a cloth to wipe down any condensation that would happen because of breathing and sweating.
@@reneeduran5352 They used leaf blowers to inflate the bubbles. Breathing was super easy no issues at all. It did however get hot inside them. Recommend to ware less cloths. Shorts and a tank top or something. Even if your cold at first, after awhile you're gonna get hot. No bubbles popped, they where very durable. Everyone there seemed to have an amazing time. It was a wonderful experience.

Just saw them live post pandemic in Vancouver, 2023, and at 52 years old, the BEST concert I have been to, and did I mention I was in my 20s in the 90s?
Who knew that bubble concept of theirs would come in so handy!!
Just a matter of time, is what they said about it. Mask wearing has been common sense in high volume populated areas for a great deal of time now... And, the concept isn't new (mask wearing).

I’ve been listening to American Head for weeks and always waking up with Assassins Of Youth ringing in my ears. ;-)
My fave track off American Head. Love the cosmic bleepy bloops with acoustic guitar strummy propulsion. Only the Lips pull this vibe off effortlessly. While Wayne speaks of universal themes we all can identify with. It’s a potent mix id be happy to see them explore on the next album. I miss the spacey and lush melodies and heart of Yoshimi and Soft Bulletin era.
This is an instant classic.

I saw you guys in Philly when dude told his story about descending from the sky in a hamster ball, I don't know how many times he told that story but I'm glad you got your hamster ball, nguueird thing is we had them as kids and they smothered their babies :(

A friend told me he went to a show they handed out laser pens then had everyone shoot them at a disco ball he said it was one of the best shows he’s ever seen and he’s a major concert goer

How long can u be in a bubble before you run out of oxygen? Or how does it work lol? I’m legit curious, I’ve never been in a bubble. This looks amazing.
It was supposed to be ok for 3 people for over an hour. So propably 3 hours at least? They used leafblowers to pump some cold air inside whenever needed I think.

Can you breathe fine that bubble ? Is it weird to keep your balance?
The air is fine though the more you exert yourself the foggier it gets, and balance is easy because you are held in place by other people’s bubbles on all sides, more importantly though if you trip on something on the ground in the bubble it is easy to catch yourself.
