I just recently got the 40th Anniversary MSFS and when the Autumn sale happened and I saw this aircraft I jumped on the opportunity. It is absolutely a joy to fly, especially in VR seeing those MASSIVE engines to either side and the superchargers glowing at night! Just playing around, I unlatched the canopy at 250 mph... THAT scared me a bit, but then I rolled down the sides and enjoyed the "enhanced" engine noise. Biggest issue I had so far was running out of gas and having to learn where the tank switches were. But in VR, I couldn't quite see the fuel pump switches. Now I know! I did get it from the FS site and was wondering why the barrels were missing. "Guns bad..." I guess. Minor hiccup but 100% worth the price of admission.
Great video, and I highly recommend this aircraft to anyone who uses MSFS. It’s my favourite thing to fly. Fast, and turns on a dime. Try it out. You won’t be disappointed
Love your reviews, I own almost everything you've looked at so far and learned a lot from each video. Particularly liked the display routine at the end of this one, pulling out of a loop that close to the runway, I was waiting for the bang !
Thanks for the great video. I downloaded it last night, and sleeping was then out as an option! To be able to get this experience of “ flying” such a magnificent plane ( my favorite all time) for $32 ?? Unbelievable. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed .
Thanks for the information. You just saved my neck from cranking using head tracking to try and look behind the seat for the tablet. I crashed in the water a couple of times on the way to Block Island trying to pull it out.
Good video. To answer your question about weapons, it’s ideological. MS doesn’t allow weapons of any kind to be part of sales on their marketplace because they don’t want to be seen as advocating violence/war.
Well I have a question. I just got the plane last night and finally got to the runway thought everything was good. Floored it for take off and the throttle would go all the way to max but I think the engine rpm needle wasn’t even 1/2 way and wouldn’t go any higher then ran out of runway so it’s paused while I went through the checklist again. What am I missing.? Anyone have similar experience?

Another really good review! You're straight forward and you include a lot of good information.
Terrific, helpful video. I wish you'd give a video on how to shoot those incredible review videos at the end!
Thanks, very helpful. Added bonus was bear on the runway.

Glad it helped
I love this add-on, absolutely beautiful. I'm surprised it doesn't get more attention.
Nice review, thanks! Great aircraft, really enjoy it, fly it a lot. Well worth the $!
