Thanks for review. Yeah, Milviz know how to make quality add-ons. I was convinced of this after purchasing the PC-6 Porter. Amazing sound quality of their planes.
Thank you for sharing such a detailed review. I downloaded a F4U pilot manual, but it's quite old and its picture illustration is blurry. I have trouble understanding how to actually operate it by just reading the manual. Your video clears up my doubts.
Not sure SU11 has anything to do with it but I've discovered the Corsair is now diffcult to control during take-off and even more so on landing. It does not seem to roll out straight regadless what you try to do with the rudder. I dunno about other simmers who have recently flown this are feeling the same way I do?
how u doing rex? I am new to flight sim , just downloaded mfs20 and started learning about VOR to VOR, would I be able to fly vor with the fg-1d corsair ?
@dobby IDK if this one has anything special but if it's just a standard WWII FG-1D then no. Radios back then operated on a much lower frequency range and were usually all preset in fighter aircraft like the Corsair. Navigation was mostly done via dead-reckoning which is using speed time and heading to calculate distance flown which is coordinated with a map that pilots could pull out on the board under the instrument panel of the FG-1D
are we just ignoring the fact that there is a bunch of bears crossing taxi at 08.33 lol
The F8F is there in spirit it seems

I've got this and I am now waiting for most favorite A1E Skyraider.
One of my favorite aircraft in FS20. Thanks for reviewing it. Also, lovin’ the wildlife. Go bears!

Wasn't the FG-1D Corsair made in Goodyear, Arizona ?
I have owned this thing for almost a year...I had zero idea about the gun or armament thing....
