Hi! I’ve been watching all your videos. Thank you so much for being so thorough. I have a question, my brake pads were all replaced but I have one rotor that’s the rear driver side, could I replace just one rotor or should I get two or all of them replaced?
That is correct. But you don't have to get them all off to be able to slide the filter in and out of the housing. You can manage to get it off by undoing just the 2 clips like I do in the video
Also you just saved yourself a good $50 by doing the cabin air filter replacement yourself. The dealers would have charged you $50 or so for that 5 minute job. Good job!
@@VirarAutomotiveI was just at a place today that wanted to charge me over $100 for the cabin air filter replacement. I couldn't believe it. I'd already seen a video on how to replace that one and told the guy, "Nah, I've got one coming from Amazon, I'll do it myself." He was cool about it, at least. The app I was using to order the work kept glitching and originally they were going to do my engine air filter because I thought, nah, I don't even know where that is and I don't want to screw up my engine," but the glitching basically unselected the engine air filter replacement, and by then I was so tired of the glitching I decided I'd look into doing that one myself too. Which is how I ended up here. Now I'm glad I didn't pay them forty-something bucks to get it done. Sheesh.
Such a simple DIY, glad no more using a mechanic to replace filters!
Glad you found it useful 😉
You did a great job showing how to change engine air filter. Thank you
Glad to hear that you find it useful!

Replace the rotors in pairs always.
Thanks Bruv
Glad I could help!
I have a 2011 Hyundai and I checked my filter today and it has 2 filters. The way you opened the filter hatch it can't be seen. Check it out.
2 filters? I have never seen it on the 2011 Sonata.
There's 2 more clips behind and bottom.

That will make it easier. I just did the cabin air filter today. Will do engine tomorrow
Sounds good. Good luck!

Thank you!
How often should i change this filter if city driving no highway?
Probably every 10000 miles (16000 kms) or atleast once a year.
