Watching these videos always reminds me that being a VA was a bit of a dream job of mine. But I've always had trouble with mis-speaking and stumbling over my words, so I've always been too nervous to even attempt beginning.
But your videos are always so insightful even to people like myself!

Do some tongue twisters! It sounds silly but it makes a world of difference. Repeating “Red leather yellow leather” worked great for me but just find anything that makes your tongue used to articulating and work with it

If i was a voice actor i can understand this
But im not so, i still think voice directors are responsible for bad voice acting, not the voice actors themselves(Although there are rare cases where its both)

There is something to be said about the buck stopping with someone, but being successful in this industry means taking responsibility for yourself, and working efficiently and responsibly.

I remember hearing about how Xenoblade Chronicles 2 had little to no voice direction, which was very apparent after the first game. And the voice direction definitely hurt the Wild Era Zelda titles.

Honestly this is just life advice, always do the necessary prep work and then some, keep your ego in check, and learn to communicate well with others and follow directions.

I’m completely unexperienced and have no where to learn how to be a voice actor. I watch videos but sometimes I struggle to find good videos (i love your videos and they are very helpful). But what would you recommend trying to learn how to become a better voice actor?

I always recommend my voice acting course at Learn Voice Acting, link is in the description.

This is unrelated and you may not see this, but recently i was told to give up trying to be a voice actor because I'll never be hired because ai is easier and cheaper and businesses will choose ai over me. 😭 very discouraging.

Maybe a bit random but, have you ever shared any tips on what to eat/consume to keep your throat's health and maintain your voice? I assume there are things to keep in mind.

Opera singer here! I assume that voice actors and singers share a mindset with this, but the best advice I can give is watching out for acid reflux. This means avoiding spicy foods, highly acidic foods, alcohol, and other triggering foods because it can damage your throat/voice long term and in the short term drastically affect how your voice feels and sounds (it’s the reason your voice feels super scratchy and low after a night of drinking). Hydration is also a key component of vocal health, so making sure you drink a good amount of water will also help your voice stay healthy, especially if you’re sick. It usually takes at least a couple of days for hydration to hit your body, so if you have a gig you’ll want to make sure you’re adequately hydrating for at least a few days beforehand. Hope this answers your question!!

So do you just follow directions like a robot? Is there a point where you would pushback at all? Because I feel a bad performance caused by a director could also affect your reputation.

Now we know why directors are playing the tough daddy act on the employee and voice actor.
