    I make oats rotis regularly. Instead if just kneading the dough like this if you boil 2cups of water for 1cup of oats flour and add the oats flour into boiling hot water. Simmer while adding the dough and close the flame as water is absorbed. Cover that dough for 10-15 mnts . After that knead the dough and super soft oats rotis can be enjoyed.

    Have tried this and it came out soft, perfect and yummy. I ground Oats bran into flour. It can be done in a matter of minutes. Thanks Nisha for this new nutritious way of making oats.

    I just made this for the first time just now. Didn't roll using a rolling pin, just pressed it with my fingers & used some oil to pan fry it. Tastes great. Only that it breaks a lot, maybe due to insufficient water or binding of oats not strong. Will be making some dhall to make it yummier. Thanks for sharing!

    To make a noce round roti and if you don't have a press, you can use parchment paper and a wood cutting board to press it down.

    Wow maam the recipe was just so awesome....my 1.5 year daughter just love this chapati ...as she's fussy eater It makes me worried all the time specially during eating chapati ...bt today she eats all the chapati by herself as it was too soft after adding into bowl of dal.....we both just loved it thanks so much once again

    Hiii! I just watched this vid now and I want to try cooking it. Can I use a regular pan/skillet in cooking the roti? Is there any other way I can cook it?
    I’m afraid we don’t have a chapati presser (?) or the iron kitchenware you’ve used in this video. Thank you so much and more recipes to come please 😊

      U can use cast-iron skillet , if u have. The idea is to use anything with thick base because flat breads take time to cook. If u use skillet with thin base, then the bread would burn from outside and may remain raw from inside also, it will not puff up!

    How to remove psytic acid if you have bought oats flour from the store? As you have mentioned in your other video, about how important it is to soak oats, but with flour, that's not possible

    Dear nisa homey I would like to knw difference between oats and rolled oats. I do have oats at home. And when we make oats they r like khichdi with lots veggies like beans, capsicum and carrots.
    I saw ur upma with oats but they were like poha or puff rice.. which I liked it do share on my gmail.

    Do we need to keep the dough aside for a couple of minutes before rolling them. ? Just like how we do with wheat flour ? Or can they be made into rotis immediately after kneading ?

      Remember that we use hot boiling water to mix so I keep it aside till it has cooled down. And then again knead it a coupled times.
