Do i have to swap the upper intake manifold or both upper and lower
It was just the upper intake that we swapped due to the difference in the electronic throttle body and the mechanical throttle body of the different year cars, good question and thanks for the comment!
@@GitItGarage thanx we are doing a 2000 to 97 swap that also has the electronic TB and you did not say if it was only the upper or both intake. We will be using the 97 pcm, harness and transmission (in the 97 body)
Man, that's a lot of effort for a V6 swap!

Git It Garage, are you thinking of doing any modifications to the Liberty? Maybe a lift kit, like Straightsixfan did on his Jeep???
It is something we'd like to do not sure how we are going to go about it just yet, but we would love to lift it a bit! (Contiplating a solid front axle, no promises tho)
Git It Garage, a solid front axle build would be awesome, but I think proper alignment of the axle could be challenging. Even with a solid front axle, I bet that most Wrangler guys would still give you the finger. I bought an '03 Liberty a few years ago, and it already had a 3" lift kit (mostly Jeepin by Al equipment). I've never had a Wrangler driver wave back.

What does a "jasper racing engine" package have as far as performance upgrades for the 3800?
Ive only heard of jasper rebuilds.

I'm doing a 3.8 swap into a 1995 Pontiac Firebird that had the 3.4. how do I get the fuel pump enabled. I did swap the PCM so it's correct with the motor. Motor and everything up front is upgraded to 1997 3.8L . Body and BCM , body harness is 1994-1995 3.4L
Really helpful to have that lift. I think I can tell you were using the gimbal on this video?
Str8sixfan yeah the lift certainly made a huge difference. Your correct gimbal was used for most of the shots! That thing is a magnificent tool!
How did you discount the drivers side harness??
