Rolex quietly discontinued this Datejust 41 Mother of Pearl in May of 2023. Rolex AD advised Rolex was shattering an average of 7 dials before they got the right fit. The amount of labor involved in this made sense for Rolex to discontinue. Nothing is more "Oyster Perpetual" than a dial made from an Oyster in my opinion. This is one of the only COMPLETELY hand made and diamond set dials Rolex makes. The others are the Pave Diamond Dials, and Meteorite.

Excellent, nice choice-- Rolex's mother-of-pearl dials are absolutely incredible! The resale value of pre-owned watches varies based on a number of factors including current market demand, condition, age, presence of original documentation, etc. We sold this particular pre-owned model for $15,900 but I would recommend looking at recent sales of similar Datejust models with mother of pearl dials to gauge the market value. Online platforms, auction results, and specialized watch forums can provide insights. Hope this helps, best of luck!
