@@swissphotographies I’ve visited 2 Swiss manufacturing plants by Swatch, Hondas and Toyotas manufacturing plants, Phillips manufacturing and design studios, and more. A lot of these places have a very similar approach to manufacturing than you may think, but the Japanese have an astounding difference to how they do things. I know i’m blessed to be in a position to visit these plants, but seeing a handful of these companies myself despite them operating in different industries has influenced my views on manufacturing from different countries. This is not by me, but from older colleagues who have told me that manufacturing quality in the West has been on a constant decline and I can agree to some degree as I was not impressed by the setup and operation of the manufacturing facilities in the American and European market. China has potential to do better but it all matters on the specifications given by the company outsourcing their labor. That’s why Apple products have far better quality than your typical knick knacks from Ali Baba, despite being from the same country. I would say the country that produces above average quality goods, consistently, would be Japan without a doubt. Just go to any Japanese multinational manufacturing plant and you’ll be surprised at how well their management is operating their facilities.
