You mentioned the problem with the electric version world be energy density of the pack, and you couldn't put a lot of batteries on and would still be lackluster in flight time. But if you consider your product as a one time winch that you can solo use to get to altitude and then go and XC properly due to the good aerodynamics... well you don't need that much power time to do that.
Hi Andras, in weak conditions more then one attempts are needed to get a thermic, plus a reserve for return is needed. For only 1 attemtp elecric version looks good.

It's good to finally hear what the motor and propeller sounds like along with a take off and landing. Looks perfect for us PG guys wanting to climb up and turn off the motor for some thermal flying. Have you tested the engine in warmer temps.? (26C-33C)
Not yet. The maximum temperature during the tests was 20-22 С. This summer we will check the engine operation at high temperatures.

Look in to Omega 1 rotary engine...Super compact and powerful. Would you consider selling it like a kit? It will speed up the whole process .

Looks like Tucker is basically a PPG pilot. We are targeting the PowerPod to free-flying pilots who can't gain alttitude to start thermaling (flat terrain, no clubs nerby)

Awesome! But I would still go electric! Maybe instead of going for the whole package, which means lots of trial n error, you should try to refine the ducted fan assembly first and sell that separately from motor and harness. I would order 3 or 4 right away, if the price is right! Best wishes. Luca

Ведь чисто технически, "вкачав" мощность, можно хоть на 200мм нужную тягу получить - но будет ли это иметь смысл, если время работы силовой установки составит лишь 10 минут. Время работы - для потенциальных покупателей очень важно.
"Вкачать" мощность в 200 мм не получится, это же не турбина, а ДВС. Поднять мотор в 50 лс или больше не получится - спина не выдержит. Время работы на номинальном режиме для набора высоты с полной заправкой около 1 часа, для горизонтального полета время будет в 2-2.5 раза больше.
Скороподъемность сильно зависит от условий - веса пилота, крыла, высоты и пр. Для пилота 80-85 кг и среднего крыла EN-C скороподъемность будет 1,7-2 м/с.
Is there any use off clutch box or reducyion gears. U can solve your noise problem by replacing with 4stroke engine , its heavy but resultantly weight can be equalize with little nominal silencer and less fuel weight.
Have you considered using an inflatable wing one that would be filled with lighter than air hydrogen? Neutral buoyancy pretty easy to achieve. No power required
in that case you'll be better with a balloon
Any ideas on flight time assuming engine at cruise rpms?
We expect the flight time in horizontal flight with the engine running to be about 1-1.5 hours.

We do our best to establish the price at the range of double of the price of a regular paramator.
Usage of our own motor plant (now it is a boxer engine with an electric starter and an injection fuel system), advanced carbon fiber chassis, soft tank, inflatable protector and advanced fabric, all these features drive the bigger price in comparison to what we'd like to sell it for.

Great design concept for PPG’s. One question not brought up here is, could this design be modified for hang gliders! I have 50 years of hang gliding including some solo flights on PG’s AND have over two hundred flights with Mosquito and Doodlebug power harness. In my constant search for the perfect Hangglider power assist systems (gas or electric), we find many challenges if we are to keep it foot launch able . Ie; weight, drag & structure. I find the biggest design issues for hang gliders are the prop space limitations and the associated safety. Ducted fans have the best Solutions thus far even though they to have there own unique issues.
My biggest disappointment about your design product now is that it comes from a land of people who elects to hide under a rock and fails to recognize or care about your mind controlling corrupt government and its oppression on innocent countries! I always thought the Russian people were smarter…..

You do realize there is no right answer for this guy to give here. I would wager a guess this guy is too busy living a life and working on real problems rather than spending his free time zoning out in front of a TV being brain washed. I was setting up a system and was going to use some excellent software from Russia. Then when I went to purchase it, I could not because of the sanctions. F'n VP and his delusions. I hope this war ends soon, there is a lot of great talent and good people in Russia.
Hopefully someday I can support Russian made products again but it is difficult for me to do so while they are in Ukraine.
