Stay strong girl !!! I remember those hospital meals all to well 😅 after spending half my life in a hospital this brought back so many memories thank you for sharing 🙏🏼❤️☺️
Bruce thanks you. I used to work in the kitchen in a hospital. I got one of the nicer ones. But was really hungry 24 hr no food. Anything would of been good. Lots of ❤️🚐🐈⬛😊🇨🇦
A little late seeing this. Glad to hear you are back in your van. There is nothing like being ‘home’. Sorry to hear about the pain. All the best in your healing.
Wow!! I'm so sorry to have missed your premiere on this. I did have a notification but missed it. And didn't know what time. Wow... what an ordeal! I'm so so glad you're on the other side of those now! See you Renee🫂
So glad you're doing better Renee. I can't imagine being in pain that long. Trying to figure out my next trip up...currently listening to rain on the roof so hopefully the snow is not sticking around for long up there ❤
Well done getting through your knee op .❤ I've had both my knee joints replaced . It is a very painful operation. I had that ice pack machine. Your leg will be very bruised, but it will go. You'll walk much better now.
Thank you Lynda I already feel the improvement and am thankful I made the decision to do it. As for bruising my surgeon must of been extremely amazing or supper gentle. I had a few little bruises. I was really impressed.
@@beyouvanlifeI'm not sure which country you're in ? Canada. I paid for my first knee op to be done privately in the UK , as after COVID the waiting list was so long. It was the most complicated type of knee replacement and VERY painful afterwards. My other knee was done by the same surgeon on the National Health Service and much less painful. I didn't realise how restricted my life had become until I was better. Hope you 're improving ♥️
I think most would say the same thing. I do live in Canada. Wait lists are horrendously long. Just so thankful it is all over with and mending is all I need to do. My surgeon is very pleased with my progress he did mention to take it slower and relax some. I made all the mile stones well before expected. It is a interesting surgery because it is noted some feel more pain then others having the same surgery. I have had back surgery and that wasn’t as bad as my knee surgery.
Everyday is a bit better and having constant pain in my knee is something I hope will get better over the next six months or so. I had a scare a few days ago and hurt my new knee. So good reminder slow and steady. Thanks 😊
Shirley here, I had hip replacement surgery in May all healed. They say knee surgery is more painful. Those gowns are much better then at my hospitals. Ours tie in the back and can't reach it.
@@beyouvanlife I was scared because I am 73 and never had surgery in my life. But it was so bad and I managed the pain well once the prescription pain meds where done which they didn't give u many I took non aspirin worked great. I just glad it was all over and I am back to normal. I saw your stitches in your knee poor thing looks brutal. The hip one is much smaller.
@@bobs1356 I can’t imagine what it would feel like at 73 having my first surgery, must of been so scary. I am sure you are glad it’s all behind you. My first surgery was when I was 19. I wasn’t bothered properly because I did know so many things at that age. I was more worried about dignity more the anything. Oh how we thing when we are younger.
@@beyouvanlife I would of been scared at a young age like u where but what scared me at 73 was not waking up. I know that sounds stupid. My husband said your going to get through it.
@bobs1356 I totally understand that as we age more complications can happen. This time I was given a spinal and sedation so much easier to come out of. I am so glad you had your husband around for support.
They suggest ( surgeon pre opt instructions) Ivory Soap. I believe every surgeon requires different instructions specifically for them. So do what your surgeon requires. 🚐🐈⬛😊❤️

Hi Shirley surgery is not fun at all. But I am thankful the worst is over for me. As for hospital gowned I probably put it on wrong lol. 🚐🐈⬛😊🇨🇦
