Here's some context for the goals. Goal #10 becomes more impressive with context. This goal was special because it was in Crosby's rookie season, and in his first ever game against the team he grew up cheering for. That goal won the game for his team. Goal #6 was scored by Nikita Kucherov, and that's become his signature move. He's used it multiple times since and scored on every try. Goal #5 was scored by Patrick Kane, who like you said in the video, has some of the best and quickest stickhandling in the NHL. Mike Ribeiro was known for being a skilled player, but not really a team player. He's also been charged for sexual assault, take from that what you will. #1 was super special because a) it capped off what was at the time the longest shootout in NHL history, and b) because Malik was the last guy you'd expect to score that type of goal, as a defensive defenseman. He was known as a tough physical guy instead of a skill guy. Two suggestions: With the NHL season starting soon, you should pick a team! As well, you should react to Tim Stuetzle! Not sure if there's any real good videos on him since he's only 18, but as an Ottawa fan he's absolutely amazing and should be one of the league's best players in his prime.
To add onto #1, the shootout had only been a thing in the NHL for like 6 weeks at that point and that longest shootout record ended up standing for nearly a decade until it was broken in 2014
You should react to Zdeno Chara. He's a legendary player who just got traded to a new team. He's 6' 9 and the tallest player ever to play in the NHL, hes currently the oldest active player at 43, has the hardest slapshot ever recorded, won the Norris for best defensemen in the league, won a Stanley Cup in 2011, has 600+ points as a defender, and more. Jens95 just posted a vid of some of his highlights, he isn't an overly flashy player nor does the vid show any defensive highlights but it still shows what a good player and big presence he was on the ice. Highly recommend.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but what made number 1 so impressive (if I remember correctly) was that the player was a defenseman, who hardly ever took penalty shots.
The reason why #1 is who it is, that's because Marek Malik is 6"7 or 6"8 if I'm not mistaken. You don't see big fellas doing that stuff. Specially someone who hadn't scored all year.
Hey man! You should check out the first season of the Vegas Golden Knights. It’s one of the greatest cinderella stories in sports. This one is really special to me because I was born and raised in Las Vegas, and I lived through the whole thing from start to finish. ua-cam.com/video/n4buhg_l4Hs/v-deo.html There are a few videos on youtube about it. This one isn’t too long, but it gives you an idea of what it was all like. Unfortunately, one thing that it fails to mention (mainly because the video was made before the playoffs occurred that season) is that the Knights made it all the way to the Stanley Cup Final in their first season. If you want a more in depth analysis, there’s a longer video on youtube, and a documentary called Valiant.
I can't believe they didn't have Johnny Gaudreau's shootout goal against Minnesota on there!

Marek Malik's goal was the 16th round of the shootout and he played defense as well
"Ribeiro is a shootout specialist"... yeah he's speciality is shooting himself up XD
You should react to Zdeno Chara.

Love it man, keep it up!! Check out the Sochi Olympics shoot out between USA and Russia.
The other reason Malik's goal was so great was that it ended the longest shootout in NHL history. Epic.
