- Emmett wrote this instrumental and titled it after one of our favorite places in the Ozarks, "Thunder Ridge"! As featured in the outro, while we were recording the sprinklers turned on and we all had to make a mad dash with our instruments and gear! Never a dull moment when you are recording live.

Katie on the 5 string fiddle was exceptional.
Looking for an adequate compliment, but there isn't one! Truly excellent musicianship. Matt is always great on the guitar but he is absolutely celestial on this solo. Emmett, just wow!

I think everyone plays their instrument very well but Emmet is an exceptional Dobro player! Probably the best I've ever heard! I'm sure if he wanted to... he could go to Nashville and do recording sessions. I'm glad he's in the band though! Great job Petersens!

Insane!!!!!! Emmett's expert composition skills are exploding like the water from those sprinklers! They decided to take matters into their own hands, because y'all were going to start a WILDfire!
And the thing to love most about this song (and all of of you guys' music, really!) Is that the composer/arranger is not the only one to shine. Every other member has their own moment to show off their finesse. Makes the composer's abilities all the richer in my eyes!

Saw them recently at the Bush hall in London and the were an absolute storm of magica music. Even though Ellen couldn't be there (and ma a banjo fan) they were perhaps the best show l have ever seen in my life. As you can guess my daughter and l had a wonderful evening and can't thank you guys enough.😊😊😊😊😊
