I got that same exact rod! It's one of my favorite rods. It works great for small topwater baits. Great video!
Nice set up! You can add an in line on/off switch that will not take up any space. Just pick one up at the auto parts store, splice it into the positive or negative wire. That way it is not mounted to the boat and stays with the cooler. It is in line with the wire to the pump.

Easy way to secure it is put in some bimmini top hold downs or eyebolts or something and use bungee cord. Keeps it solid and doesn't move around at all.

Good system 👍If you mount the pump horizontally the pipe will go straight up so theres less chance of the fish getting stuck behind the pipe

You can just point the hose out of the boat, turn it on and shoot the water out to drain it too
