Don't put the boat in storage, drive it to warmer weather, just like your van , , happy traveling
100% exactly how that size is supposed to be used!
Lots of money. Fuel on boats is no joke. Especially with two v8 gas burners on a long haul. Id imagine hes getting 2.5mpg holding 400 gall
Take it down the river to Miami, FL before winter, The Great Loop Adventure.
I really love how full of life u are Brandon. Your parents did a great job raising you.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you. My parents are the best!
Run your boat down here to South America, you know Georgia or Florida maybe even even Alabama. Don't put it away for the winter, have fun. 😊
I really want to but it gets 1mpg and would cost an insane amount of money to get it there
You only really get restful restorative sleep when it's completely dark!!🥰❤️
I’m happy for you, Brandon. You seem very excited about your beautiful new baby❤
That’s great! Nothing better than chilling on the water and feeling free! ❤
Absolutely!!
It would be an amazing trip if you took the boat west on the Ohio river to where it merges w/ the Mississippi river and take it all the way down to New Orleans and into the Gulf Of Mexico 🛥
Your boat is amazing!! Plenty of room for yourself and friends. I wouldn't put it in storage....I would gather some friends and go down to the Bahamas/Caribbean for the winter. Explore the caves and cliffs you can dive from. So much to see and do. If you go to Florida take your boat. Lots of boat community's, people that live on their boats full time. Places that you can possibly rent a boat slip or area for the winter. So many options!!! So excited for you thou and excited to watch your new adventures! Living vicariously thru you 😁
There are somethings in the background that MAY be happening... 🤔
Looks great! Congrats! Its always nice accomplishing goals and dreams. Makes life worth living ❤
That thing is super nice Brandon! Congratulations buddy.
Badass!!! Been to Pittsburgh tons of times!! Racing Bmx at Southpark! Went to last game at 3 Rivers and 1st game at Hines!! To see My RAAAAIDERS!! I also am an Actor and did a Superbowl ad with Roethlisberger and Hines Ward as a Referee for Bud light in Detroit!! Played a Detroit Cop for Eminem in music video/Michael Bay/ Spielberg in The Island movie as a LAPD Cop too!! Love the boat!! Stay Safe and God bless brother! Frank
Looks great Brandon. Enjoy the ride of life!
Sweet set up! Perfect size for one or two people. Great way to spend the summer.
Omgoodness Brandon you did an amazing job. You might want to keep the ice maker at least during the summer. You have your electric cooler if you need more room for food. ❤I’m so happy for you. I can’t wait for some fun videos. Hopefully longer videos 😂 please. ❤
Awesome boat looks good! Can’t wait for the future video with it! Hope all goes great and you love the new living situation! God bless brother 👍🤘
Super happy for you brother. Looks great!
Can't wait to see what content you have coming up from your boat adventures, absolutely love it 👌
💜❤️ I love this new phase for you!!
Wow it looks amazing Brandon!! I love it!! It’s definitely a lot more space than the van had! 😂 Especially your bed!! I’m glad it’s nice and big! Lookin forward to seeing your boat/house adventures!! Stay safe! Much love ❤️
Hi Brandon Cool boat , Nice to be able to scoot to wherever you like.
Great setup, smart move getting the enclosure
There is nothing like spending the night on a boat, waking up having coffee and fixing breakfast, life is good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
indeed bigger fridge or second fridge instead of icemaker and perfect home!
Take the boat to South America!
Your new boat is super cool! Where were you hiding Sarah though? lol
She's a peach Brandon! What sort of range can you get on those V8s?
Looks great man! Love the videos!!
That boat is siiick! If it gets cold, come down to Georgia or tennessee and let's hit some caves!!
Dude I would love to!
You to need to make it to Lake Champlain and do some cliff diving
I love your Boat Brandon it looks so good. I'm happy for you man ❤
Thank you!!
@@BrandonGross You're welcome!!
Looks nice brother! This looks like it's gonna be alot of fun! Be safe, much love from SC
Thank you!!
@@BrandonGross you welcome!
Beautiful boat
Nice boat Justin. I had the same dream when I was in the Navy in San Diego. That was 40 years ago but I never pulled the triger on it. Guess I will ride along with you. If you need a place to base out of Florida. I'm in Central.
I mean Brandon. Jeesh.
Looks Amazing….🤩😍!
Definitely fits you Brandon
I think it fits me quite well too!
That ver spacious for a small boat
It honestly just suits my purposes extremely well. It's more than I had with my bus, van and ambo so I'm living pretty comfy!
@@BrandonGross This thoght me you dont necessary need a huge boat to fulfil your sea adventirious or a sail boat, cant wait to see where do you take her and how you utilize the boat for daily living
Looks amazing 👌👌💜🇿🇦
Scott at Connecten is great!
I really want to live on a boat
take it all the way down the Atlantic Coast like a wild man and Winter in the Caribbean
Would love to!!
Just take the boat south on the river for winter.
Following with interest, I did this on a Bayliner 340 and it nearly bankrupted me 😂
That’s a cool boat 🛥️ bro nice 👍🏻
Absolutely beautiful boat, take that thing down to Florida somewhere dude.
Thank you ! I really want to take it down there, just gotta find the budget for that 😂
Brother… do americas great loop the east coast road trip with that boat… take that thing to warmer waters for winter.
Don’t get rid of the ice maker!
Nice boat!
The way you said 5'10 is the same way i say 5'10 and i m actually 5'9 so i got ya 😂. I know the struggle! Great video, living the life
you may want a watermaker as long as you're going to have a generator etc.
Somehow Brandon, moving from road life to boat life has 'matured' your appearance - looking still youthful but wiser perhaps?😉
time to que up the " A day in the life of living in my House boat full time" video 👍👍
It's coming VERY soon!
Keep in mind you can’t have booze near the helm might want to keep the ice maker,
My grand father was coast guard!
Thats kinda what I was thinking lol
@@realzooflicks yeah the booze has to be as far from the helm as possible! Brandon better off making that a soda fridge and keep the ice maker!
@@TransamJc what about a microwave 🤣
Fridge is a must in that area considering the small one in the cabin
You can just get ice cube trays and he can make ice in the mini fridge and have space for drinks
Tonya looks like an excellent rig. Congrats looks like you’re doing it right for sure. Good video enjoyed the walk-through. I really like it.
Thank you!!
Some tips
*Keep checking your sea strainers especially if you run your ac constantly.
*Don’t leave city water connected or turned on when you’re away or sleeping. A leak can sink the boat
*Don’t leave water heater switch on if your water pump switch is turned off
*keep extra fuel filter/water separators on board at all times. Marine fuel is very expensive because you’re paying for all the extra contaminants that need to be filtered out lol
*I use braided plastic cord sleeves for my shore power cords. Constantly dragging them on and off the boat will mar the gel coat over time.
*use IMAR Stratoglass cleaner and conditioner on your vinyl windows. Those windows are are super expensive and delicate. Also either keep them flat or roll them when stowing them. Never fold them.
*I use 303 waterproofing spray on my canvas camper top and rub chap stick into my zippers. It could be pouring outside and it will stay dry inside
*A thermacell is your best friend while hanging out in the cockpit at night.
*** that aft cabin is often called “the champagne room” lmao
Love the content. I don’t live full time on mine, but I’m no stranger to spending weeks at a time on my vessel. 33’ Chaparral.
If you’re interested on selling your ice maker, let me know. Mine crapped out.
If you decide to keep it, add a filtration system.
The rest of the systems should be pretty straightforward for you, as these boats are basically just floating RV’s
I feel like I owe you money for this comment🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 thank you for all of that info!! And I am definitely interested in selling the ice maker
@@BrandonGross if you ever decide you want to take a trip to the Hudson River and see NYC by boat, let me know. I know all the cool spots around here. There’s even a rope swing and a really popular “party cove”
dang i had a feeling this was a pittsbrugh river vibe. funny to hear you say where it is. maybe we'll see you in the downtown pool!
I think I would make that den into my permanent bed and then look at opening up the main cabin and use the front bed space as a seating area.
Cool video, no B.S., just straight to the content, definitely subscribing.
Dunno what to say👍go for it👏
Very nice boat, i would love to see you do a long distance voyage in it or something like island hoping, definitely need to get a bigger fridge though that would drive me insane 😂
Couldn't agree more! I'd love to take a long trip somewhere and I desperately need a bigger fridge!
Outstanding
Great content much love to ya brother from Maryland❤❤❤
Awesome, such an inspiration.
Thank you!
Love your boat(new house) just wondering I’ve been wanting to go do just what you are doing when I retire soon so question is how much has it cost you to get the boat and all upgrades done? So I have an idea what will cost me starting out or roughly how much it’ll cost me 😊 thanks
I follow a boater up here in Canada called Boogaboo on UA-cam, if you go back a week or so on his videos he shows a company that he gets custom sheets from, they send you a template and will produce custom sheets for boats like yours
when it gets cold just sail that bad boy down to florida or something. that would be an epic video
Storage?… NOOOOOOO!!!!!
Boat it to warmer weather and posting the travel. That would be EPIC CONTENT!.
Awesome boat! I love it.
May I ask how much it was?
My apologies if you have already mentioned it.
I’m going to go over costs in a video soon
@@BrandonGross
Oh wow!!!!!!!! Thank you. I can’t wait. Really appreciate that
From Melbourne, Australia, cheers 🍻
Imagine waking up and the boat is sinking, or you're under water already.
Do not worry, i have lived onboard for years ! Even now just woke up to a sunny morning here in South Sweden .
I literally have had numerous nightmares that it’s sinking 😂 I hate it
@@BrandonGross I cannot relate, as someone diagnosed with primary psychopathy I literally never experienced a nightmare before in my life.
You would go by boat to Florida and hang out there for the winter? Or any where else warm that you could bring your boat? Or is it only made for shorter trips?
It’s possible but would cost tons of money
Fenders
You should take it to New Orleans when it get cold in da burgh
I really want to but I would need some crazy funding for fuel!
How much did it cost ?
Real nice whats the year make an size of your boat 😊
Just take the boat to Florida.... I mean you can go wherever you want with that thing.
I really want to but the fuel to get it there is insane
The life I need 😢
Hop downriver to Cincinnasti and Louisville
Bet!!! Very nice!
*Boat!!! Very nice!
@@MASTERoQUADEMAN Lol I use "bet" as an expression. Thnx tho.
I am so happy that you are happy. The boat looks amazing.
How many speakers does one need for 80 sf of living space?
69
Humble suggestion: don't put the boat in storage! Travel in it to warmer waters
Hi bring it down to Belize central America
How do you earn for all your projects and lifestyle? ❤
Does this guy know anything about boating?
Nope
Just lookn at Cruisers Yacht #3675 1994/$48.900..Damn nice too!! Check it out!! Older than yours but beautiful layout!!
Awesome!! And thank you!
I wonder about you calling your boat a houseboat my idea of a houseboat is a permanently moored boat whether in a marina or on a river or coast line.
Is it possible to have a permanently moored houseboat in a marina as I know in some marinas in the UK vessels must be moved at least once a year.
It’s actually a cabin cruiser but most people don’t know that term. Those rules for living in one vary from place to place
@BrandonGross okay I actually would like to live on a house boat as I described it. Perhaps what I am describing is more of a pontoon home even as it is a fixed abode on water
Why would you take....the boat somewhere warm?!
I'm wondering when your going to film yourself on the boat with that song "I'm on a boat" in the background? 😄I know...copyright!
That bed actually looks very comfy...it's definitely going to be interesting watching you cruise in this...thanks for the content!
😂😂Let me talk to my editor about it...
@@BrandonGross Oh! Now that would be awesome! lol
You’re gonna have this for about 6 months and you’re gonna upgrade to something to live on full time travel the world 😎
😂😂
No mention of $$$$$$$ ! Dock costs what ? Boat price ? That's almost more important to us than anything ! Oh yes , and insurance , annual Registration !
Ok, let's talk about that. I bought my Carver 3207 as an abandoned boat at a marina for $1200. I live aboard full time and have for a few years. Dock is $716 per month at a swanky marina. Insurance is like $45 a month. Any boat over I think 22' is eligible for coast guard documentation, I think it was $700 for a five year document. That's opposed to state registration. It's more expensive.
I probably have $2000 in repairs to my boat, but that's parts, did the work myself.
There are boats abandoned at most marinas most of the time. Shop around and be handy and you could come close to my efforts.
Also, if you have a larger boat, it's $20 to have your crapper tank pumped by a service, if you can untie and sail to the marina pump out, it's free. I pump out every three months, and it's worth the $20 to me to not have to deal with docking a ten ton boat twice. So there's another $80 a year for convenience.
In all fairness, my interior space dwarfs his boat, with two staterooms and what would be called 1.5 baths. I also have two ac units.
The upper helm, with its cover on, makes decent storage.
So let's call it $800 a month. I can't live anywhere else for double that. A single wide trailer, call it $1200, plus water, electric and WiFi is rapidly approaching $1500 on average.
At the marina cable TV is also included, but I didn't hook it up. Add another $30 for Netflix and Hulu.
Stealth van life might be cheaper, but you're moving ALOT.
Why not just take the boat down south? Just move along the coast.
So much easier to "stealth camp" in a boat...-
Слава Україні! Удачі в проекті😊
I'm probably naïve. No I am lol. But living on a boat full time seems weird haha. Yeah it's mobile, you can go anywhere you want because water. But it's not like you can dock the boat anywhere you want to, right? And there's no city on the water. You still gotta travel to get stuff in a city.
How much was she $$$$$
Just remember the floor pattern if your in the aft cabin so you know what way to swim when this rig sinks
Why don't you show us where you really live? Oh I forgot that would be boring...
I literally live on the boat, I haven't had a house or anything like it for the past 6 years. Lived 4 years in a bus, 2 years in an ambulance and now the boat
