About David Bowie:
David Bowie redefined musical genres and the potential of live performance for generations of music lovers. Creating and discarding a variety of personae and restlessly challenging musical boundaries, Bowie released timeless albums including Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust…, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station, "Heroes,” Let's Dance, Heathen, The Next Day and many more. Blackstar, Bowie’s 28th and final studio album, was released on his 69th birthday, January 8, 2016. David Bowie died on January 10, 2016, two days after the release of Blackstar. His body of work, his influence on the worlds of music, art, fashion, film, theatre and beyond, and his legacy of innovation and reinvention will live forever. 2022 kicks off with Bowie at 75, a celebration of his 75th birthday with the Brilliant Adventure box set, the previously unreleased Toy, the 50th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust and a series of special events.

Finally, some quality worthy of such a legendary and perfect show.
This was the first time I ever saw/heard Bowie. UNBELIEVABLE.....OVER???? I was 15 and wanted to cry. I JUST FOUND THIS!!!! Huge fan ever since....
This video cut out too soon. The audience screaming and crying always sends a chill down my spine when I've heard it on Ziggy Stardust The Motion Picture Soundtrack over the years. I will say the remastered audio is great... it's like being there. If only this video were like... 3 seconds longer.
His shows will never truly end. Talent like his will forever live on. Seeing him are some of my most dearest memories. Him and Freddie are probably singing together right now still going strong😊🖤🎼
God bless you, Bowie. Fly free in Heaven, my friend.
"God is an American..."

Thank you for all the good times, David Bowie. You will be remembered. ✌️💚✨️🤘
✨💫David Bowie - forever!!
Forever, David Bowie ❤
Le souvenir d'un génie qu'est David Bowie pour toujours ⭐
Eh oui.
I was lucky enough to see that tour, just over 50 years ago.
First concert I ever attended and definitely one of the best.
RIP sir.
imagine if stan twitter was a thing in 1973 - people would’ve literally DIED when this happened
On the other hand, if stan twitter was a thing in 1973 he would have been cancelled into oblivion re: sex with groupies, so it's swings and roundabouts really
Mr Starman untouchable and unforgettable and unbelievable icon everlasting and out of this world evermore legendary

Many thanks and much love for who ever did and posted this edit
Hope the full speech is on the new copy?? Everybody...
This has been one of the greatest tours of our lives, we really...
But first, I'd like to thank the band, I'd like to thank our road crew, and I'd like to thank our lighting people
Of all the shows on this tour, this particular show will remain with us the longest, because...
Not only is it the last show of the tour, but it's the last show we'll ever do. Thank you
At what point in the show did David give that speech?
@@babygirl2007yo Before last song Rocknroll Suicide...
Its a shame the full speech ( the one we hear in His Masters Voice bootleg) is not on the remaster
Since '73, I haven't been able to accept this moving moment, I cannot stop mourning my beloved Ziggy.
Shows how much Zìggy Stsrdust lives! Well done David you were someone who transformed many times over. R.I.P Your talent is missed!
Can't wait to see it for myself. I'm pre-ordering today. ❤
I always say to the other half, who ever goes first make sure they get Bowie tickets ❤❤

😍😍😍 lots of love for you David Bowie !!!
Obrigada, Sr. Bowie por trazer ao Mundo Obras agradáveis e eternas...🚀
Look up here, he's in Heaven.
I wasn’t there, I wasn’t still born… But I read that when he made this speech all the musician of the band were upset, they were surprised because he never talked to them about his decision. Is it true?
Yes that's true. And he flew out by himself the same night.
Not quite. Mick Ronson knew about it, but Woody, Trevor, Garson and Hutch didn't.
@@lukedempsey112 oh really. That is interesting. I wonder why he did that to them. Did they not get on?
@@creativesource3514 Woody found out that Mike Garson was being paid $1400 a week. He and Trevor were only being paid £35 a week, so Woody threatened a mutiny unless they got a pay rise. Tony DeFries told him that he'd sooner pay the roadies more than them and Bowie said 'You're just a f*cking backing band. I could've made it with anybody.' Woody told Bowie 'You're a c*nt' and that was it, his days were numbered. DeFries eventually gave them a pay rise, but planned to get rid of Woody and Trevor at the end of the tour. Woody was eventually sacked on his wedding day!
@@lukedempsey112 Thanks!
Will absolutely be getting the Blu-ray!
This speech is pure Marketing.
Obrigado, Bowie...
😭😭😭🌟
Miss him so much 🥲

WTF! With the echo?? FFS! Why do they feel the need to mess about with things and add something that wasn’t there! 😡 If this is on the 50th Anniversary edition of ZSTMP I won’t be getting rid of my old copies anytime soon Jeff Beck or no Jeff Beck. What is it with Visconti that he feels the need to bugger about with Bowie’s work and alter it? Not content with remixing and totally ruining some of Bowie’s classic albums including the actual Space Oddity track which quite frankly is an abomination compared to Gus Dudgeon’s produced version, now he’s felt the need to bugger up the most famous retirement speech from a rock star in history 🙄

When is this guy going to tour again ? He is getting very lazy lately
