    About David Bowie:
David Bowie redefined musical genres and the potential of live performance for generations of music lovers. Creating and discarding a variety of personae and restlessly challenging musical boundaries, Bowie released timeless albums including Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust…, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station, "Heroes,” Let's Dance, Heathen, The Next Day and many more. Blackstar, Bowie’s 28th and final studio album, was released on his 69th birthday, January 8, 2016. David Bowie died on January 10, 2016, two days after the release of Blackstar. His body of work, his influence on the worlds of music, art, fashion, film, theatre and beyond, and his legacy of innovation and reinvention will live forever. 2022 kicks off with Bowie at 75, a celebration of his 75th birthday with the Brilliant Adventure box set, the previously unreleased Toy, the 50th anniversary of Ziggy Stardust and a series of special events.

This video cut out too soon. The audience screaming and crying always sends a chill down my spine when I've heard it on Ziggy Stardust The Motion Picture Soundtrack over the years. I will say the remastered audio is great... it's like being there. If only this video were like... 3 seconds longer.

This has been one of the greatest tours of our lives, we really...
But first, I'd like to thank the band, I'd like to thank our road crew, and I'd like to thank our lighting people
Of all the shows on this tour, this particular show will remain with us the longest, because...
Not only is it the last show of the tour, but it's the last show we'll ever do. Thank you

@@creativesource3514 Woody found out that Mike Garson was being paid $1400 a week. He and Trevor were only being paid £35 a week, so Woody threatened a mutiny unless they got a pay rise. Tony DeFries told him that he'd sooner pay the roadies more than them and Bowie said 'You're just a f*cking backing band. I could've made it with anybody.' Woody told Bowie 'You're a c*nt' and that was it, his days were numbered. DeFries eventually gave them a pay rise, but planned to get rid of Woody and Trevor at the end of the tour.

WTF! With the echo?? FFS! Why do they feel the need to mess about with things and add something that wasn’t there! 😡 If this is on the 50th Anniversary edition of ZSTMP I won’t be getting rid of my old copies anytime soon Jeff Beck or no Jeff Beck. What is it with Visconti that he feels the need to bugger about with Bowie’s work and alter it? Not content with remixing and totally ruining some of Bowie’s classic albums including the actual Space Oddity track which quite frankly is an abomination compared to Gus Dudgeon’s produced version, now he’s felt the need to bugger up the most famous retirement speech from a rock star in history 🙄
