I've never tired of these guys. I always think how lucky I was when I discovered them. I remember my finger hovering over their video and I'm so grateful I clicked on it all those years ago. Sometimes something special comes along that's meant to be 💜
A little Nick Drake, a little Elliott Smith and a healthy dose of melancholy makes this a great soundtrack for a quiet summer night spent outside. Well done.
I came over to this from the train station video, too... love this. Away to buy it now on CD! Very listen-able. The instrumentals, and especially 'Oroi' put me in mind of Mark Isham.
I just realized that Árstíðir means seasons, as in swedish 'årstider'. Times (tíðir) of (s) the year (Ár)... Why didn't I make the connection earlier... Really great music! Kind of reminds me of Akeboshi somehow, on the other side of the globe.
Every time I listen to this, it gets better and better! Ethereal, dark and uplifting all at once. Reminds me of many great things, but ultimately sounds like itself. Re-fucking-markable. 😃
This sounds so.. Celtic? You have a concert a few kilometers from where I live, thinking about coming and I think it will actually worth it AF OMG I LOVE THIS-
I most definitely can find things to love! While this way, Passion, Mute, Wasting time... Oh, and although my Icelandic is super limited, I see what you're doing there with Órói :-P Actually when I first saw the title, I thought it was going to be that way :-)
I want the train performance music. This is cool and all but that train performance was amazingly done. That one young guy with the high pitched voice is phenomenal.
It's gorgeous. Everything I hoped for and yet different from what I expected (which is a good thing). I cannot be any more detailed just yet, I'm only on the second listen. ;)

I don't speak your language, but I presume you're comparing Riverside to this music! Good comparison!

ÓTIMAS MÚSICAS !
Great!!!
Good, but a little too mellow for my taste. Thanks for uploading this.
Is "Please Help Me" a cover of something? It sounds eerily similar to something, I just can't figure it out.

'Þhar Sem Enginn Fer' is my favourite too. Nice!
It's much weaker in comparison with Hvel (2015). Group is loosing its unique originality.
