wow I am also half Indonesian and currently studying in Lithuania! Would really love to meet up with another half Indonesian if you're interested to :D
Hi, Laura. The city is so pretty! I really love the river, riverside, and the neighborhood around them. 😍😍😍 After a few days enjoying your video, I finally decided to subscribe. Warm greeting from your fans in Indonesia.
Amazing video about Vilnius! I like this city very much. Unusually green city. By the way, we also visited Shnekutis restaurant and drank his very tasty beer.
Awesome video as always :) Trafi works not only in Vilnius, but in every major Lithuanian city also in RIga, Latvia and Tallinn, Estonia and some other places in Europe
I'm glad to see you are enjoying your time in Lithuania! What's next on your list to visit? Trakai Castle looks nice in Autumn, also all the west coast including Klaipėda (third biggest city, former German Prussian territory of Memelland), Palanga (resort), Kuršių Nerija national park. Telšiai unofficial capital of western ethnographic region of Lithuania, calm and quiet village. That's my two cents. Can't wait for your next vlog!
Thanks so much! I've been to Trakai and Klaipeda once already, although I'm hoping to revisit Trakai once we get some snow! I'll add these other spots to my ever-growing list of places to visit in Lithuania! haha
for the main sign "Belmont" need to go straight on the road for 3 km. 1.5-2 km away is Belmont Stables, and another kilometer away is the old (restored) French Watermill, park and restaurant with small waterfall
Cool. You are so sweet. There are sure big woods in lithuania. Nice food i see. I am originally from (southeast) slovakia. Also a cool place. Similar historic city architecture. In the countryside its more a kind of exotic in comparison to lithuania. 25% of the population in my town/village are gypsies/roma😄
I've heard a little bit about this sort of experience! Any idea where we might be able to do this? Is there a sauna like this in Vilnius? Or better to go to Druskininkai?
Great video, and I expected nothing less. thank you! I know that you may be overwhelmed with suggestions and sometimes feel lost what to follow from that list but...have you ever considered visiting The Palace of Dukes? Or "Valdovu Rumai" in Lith.? The national museum you have visited was kinda disappointment to me (when I was there) but the Palace of Dukes is right next door and is much more impressive. Also I want to comment on your frequent remarks about weather "it is chilly, not to chilly" - actually if you will manage to survive the real Litho [a slang for Lithuania] winter you realize that the life and activities don't stop even then! Life goes on:-) Thank you so much I had really good time watching this and am waiting for a next one impatiently. have a great day!
Dear, I got my citizen restituition. I never went there. My grandma came to Brazil after WW1. How do you see the economy? Is possible begin a new life there? Dream every day.
You would need to visit and see if you like it here. But definitely you can work and live here. It might be a little harder for the older generation to adapt or even find a job, so if you can get some extra income from somewhere then it's not too bad
@@enyarim Thank you for comment and attention. I feel while descendant a strong call. I really admirate peoples dignity, lifestyle, landscapes how clean are de cities.
@@crixttian8922 yes, Lithuania is very cozy, clean and fast growing country. Lithuania gets Euro zone funding for the development of infrastructure, so in few more years it will be absolutely perfect. The salaries are growing every year and will reach a normal level of well developed Euro countries. Lithuania has 4 climate seasons, so if you're coming from a warm country, it might be very unusual or the cold seasons might be a little depressing. But summers are usually super hot, I would say tropical. Lots of things to consider before moving permanently to Lithuania. Good luck and all the best!
I wonder whats the proper translation of Žvėrynas should be :)) it should be translated like "beast habitat" google translate goes straight forwards towards the "zoo" or "menagerie" As someone mentioned, you should visit a KGB museum, just at the side of Lukiškių square.

If you have to leave a country when your Tourist visa expires, but the border countries require the vax to get in , would you be stuck in that country? Assuming flights require vax too , what would the option be ? Thanks
You totally missed things that makes Belmontas a destination. You can, but really are not supposed to go there by bus, or use that main road. Car is a better option.
I don't have a car. I also intended just to walk through the park not to visit the neighborhood, but by how passionately everyone's responses are about Belmontas I guess I'll have to make a trip back!
The old houses are only a portion of the area and most of them are renovated inside. There are many brand new private residences and also diplomatic embassys. This area is pretty close to the city center + has access to a huge green space (Vingis park).
You went to Belmontas, but looks like you have missed actual "Belmontas" and also "Pučkoriu atodanga"
Yep, they missed the essence of the place :)
oops 😅 We really went with the intention just to explore this park and go walking, I didn't know Belmontas had things to see. I'll have to go back.
@@laura-bronner ua-cam.com/video/vsX6jUu3hTQ/v-deo.html, really nice place to visit. I used to decorate wedding venues there. Also good pub to eat ;)

Next time you can check out the Fabijoniskes district. Not that it's very scenic or something, but they shot the HBO's Chernobyl there.

I seriously don't get why Žvėrynas is so expensive. It looks really crappy - all those old houses and unrenovated streets with potholes...
There are expensive new houses in side streets and by river. Old houses are valuable as construsction plots mostly :-)
