To add a bit more context to the weapons, Monty believed in the idea of not wasting time and living as efficient as possible and that translated to the series. Most of the weapons in the series are dual purpose. And how Monty choreographed movement was based on the idea of not wasting a second so if you notice, Yang would often use the shotgun blast from her gauntlet to propel herself forward or Ruby would use the knockback of her sniper to propel herself to another enemy. So the series has a lot of interesting combinations. I think you guys would enjoy Nora who has a giant hammer/grenade launcher :D
+Haruto Yuzuki Yeah. I haven't started this Season because I'm afraid of how different it will be or if it lost its magic because of Monty's death. It certainly happened with their other show Red VS Blue. When Monty stopped working on RVB to work on RWBY, their animation quality and fight choreography significantly dropped.

Problem with adding weaknesses after said weaknesses are rendered moot in earlier events. When you are making a weakness for a character it has to be supported by past events or be included from the start with a proper show of that weakness. Otherwise, people will rightly call out the garbage and it weakens the product or story you are making.
Leave it to Monty Oum to be able to translate combat styles and movements into such realistic and amazing choreography. alas....the man himself is no longer with us cause he passed away (RIP)....here's to hoping someone at Roosterteeth will be able to take up his mantle and continue the series without a huge drop in combat quality.
+FireMax UltimatePyro - gonna be blunt here, but it's no longer "pretty awesome", it's now decent at best. you definitely notice the change in animations overall, more so in complex combat sequences.
+Asiankido I don't know if it's so much a drop in quality as it is a very sudden shift in art-style. When I saw these trailers and episodes for the first time, I was a little turned off because the animation was a style that I wasn't used to; but when they released the game, I was like, "Oh, NOW that makes sense", because RWBY is choreographed, filmed, and paced like a videogame cutscene (in the best way possible), and not so much like a typical anime. There's a fluidity of object and camera movement that's allowed far more freedom in that kind of a 3D medium than you'd usually see with an animoo. Whereas by Volume 3, there are a few more cinematic choices made that lean more towards traditional 2D anime instead, and to be fair, not all of them really work as well as they should (though it's still effing GORGEOUS to look at). It's a little stiffer, the objects/models actually come to a full stop (which I feel is the most jarring thing to get over, so fresh off the heels of Volume 2), and they've lost a bit of their "squishiness" when they're going through aggressive motion. But again, that's not a "quality" issue...there's honestly so much love and attention to detail in everything else that I don't mind the little changes as much. :)

That's what I absolutely love about Rwby. Every character uses their weapon to its fullest potential from sinking, swinging, blocking and using the recoil of their shots to fling themself across the battleground.
Before you react to the rest of the series, I recommend you watch the World Of Remnent videos first. They'll give you a much better understanding of the world and how it operates.

Yes do more videos of RWBY. I love the series and didn't see the trailers until the middle of the third season, so I definitely recommend watching the series if you liked the trailers.
The series is very much worth watching. It's well done, and pretty well written, improving in quality rapidly and developing a genuinely intriguing story with delightful characters, not to mention kickass action. The episodes are easy to watch as they're quite short. You could get through a season quickly. Don't neglect the World of Remnant episodes as they fill in the lore of the world. Highly recommended.

Ha it's always fun seeing people react too these trailers because the fan base is so big and passionate that they want you too watch the entire series. The trailers were not to explain the story as much as they were trailers to show you what the four girls can do, I do hope you guys do check it out if not via reaction videos then on your own time you were kinda right about 3 season's but the term rooster teeth uses is volumes since the first season/act consist of the first 3 volumes currently 2 complete volumes and a currently half finished volume 3. the first volume is pretty short a little over 1 hour to complete all 16 episodes with some episodes being as short as 4 minutes it was a new project with a small team at the time so its production was short and tight only focusing animation on what mattered too get the story and characters across, while the second and third volume following received great advancements in budget and animation.

You know if you listen to the lyrics of all the trailers, each trailer song tells something about that person or there backstory, especially the black trailer.
Almost every character in RWBY has a melee and ranged weapon, but a few only have melee. Some of them will carry two weapons, with one usually being a ranged weapon and one a melee. Scarlet for example, has a sword and a pistol. But most characters have one weapon that is melee and transforms into a gun.

Tifa vs Yang was pretty sweet. The show has really grown on me, I was a bit weird out by the visuals at first... But the story is beginning to flesh out now and seems to be pretty deep... could be a long lasting series. And the fights are all amazing. My favorite is still the food fight in Volume 2 chapter 1. :D
RWBY at season 1 is usually 12 minutes and most of it being divided into 2 parts with 6 minutes each. Season 2 is longer 16 minutes on average and Season 3 really improved the fidelity and caartoonyness so a definite must watch.
I would gladly watch your reactions to the series and yes, it has 3 seasons now, just be aware the 5 first episodez are a little slow, but after episode 5 it gets way better, another thing to know is that the episodes for season 1 are very short compared to a normal anime series (they had budget limitations as you can imagine but it gets solved in season 2 and 3 with better animation and longer episodes) I recommend thus series, its well done and written, good character development and action sequences

As for her gauntlets, she shoots Dust (which is the series main energy source, kind of like elemental rounds). If you want to react for the series, just look the first few episodes (I recommend everyone watching until episode 8, because I found it interesting in the beginning, but ep. 8, that was when I was sold on the series). This is probably one of the best series I seen lately and it keeps getting better with each Volume.

Yes do more videos of RWBY. I love the series and didn't see the trailers until the middle of the third season, so I definitely recommend watching the series if you liked the trailers.
The series is very much worth watching. It's well done, and pretty well written, improving in quality rapidly and developing a genuinely intriguing story with delightful characters, not to mention kickass action. The episodes are easy to watch as they're quite short. You could get through a season quickly. Don't neglect the World of Remnant episodes as they fill in the lore of the world. Highly recommended.

I love your guys' analytical and fun reactions to these trailers. I'd suggest you react to the episodes, they're not that long, about 4-15 minutes each episode.
Ha it's always fun seeing people react too these trailers because the fan base is so big and passionate that they want you too watch the entire series.
The trailers were not to explain the story as much as they were trailers to show you what the four girls can do, I do hope you guys do check it out if not via reaction videos then on your own time you were kinda right about 3 season's but the term rooster teeth uses is volumes since the first season/act consist of the first 3 volumes currently 2 complete volumes and a currently half finished volume 3. the first volume is pretty short a little over 1 hour to complete all 16 episodes with some episodes being as short as 4 minutes it was a new project with a small team at the time so its production was short and tight only focusing animation on what mattered too get the story and characters across, while the second and third volume following received great advancements in budget and animation.

started watching the show because of the fights, but I was surprised on how funny this show is. You should watch this show. The episodes are short so its easy to catch up

I want to point out theres a mini series called the world of remnant that is apart of the rwby series, you guys should watch it when you hit volume 2.
Almost every character in RWBY has a melee and ranged weapon, but a few only have melee. Some of them will carry two weapons, with one usually being a ranged weapon and one a melee. Scarlet for example, has a sword and a pistol. But most characters have one weapon that is melee and transforms into a gun.

please guys it starts off kinda silly but the ending is soooo goood! they are all based on fairytales. blake is based off of beauty and beast, I think yang is goldilocks, weiss is snow white. and then they also have the wizard of oz characters along with historical characters as well

Tifa vs Yang was pretty sweet. The show has really grown on me, I was a bit weird out by the visuals at first... But the story is beginning to flesh out now and seems to be pretty deep... could be a long lasting series. And the fights are all amazing. My favorite is still the food fight in Volume 2 chapter 1. :D
Y'all could watch Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 as movies
RWBY at season 1 is usually 12 minutes and most of it being divided into 2 parts with 6 minutes each. Season 2 is longer 16 minutes on average and Season 3 really improved the fidelity and caartoonyness so a definite must watch.
I would gladly watch your reactions to the series and yes, it has 3 seasons now, just be aware the 5 first episodez are a little slow, but after episode 5 it gets way better, another thing to know is that the episodes for season 1 are very short compared to a normal anime series (they had budget limitations as you can imagine but it gets solved in season 2 and 3 with better animation and longer episodes) I recommend thus series, its well done and written, good character development and action sequences

As for her gauntlets, she shoots Dust (which is the series main energy source, kind of like elemental rounds).
If you want to react for the series, just look the first few episodes (I recommend everyone watching until episode 8, because I found it interesting in the beginning, but ep. 8, that was when I was sold on the series). Just record a reaction to some of them and if you liked it load it up, if you didn't, don't.
