- Situated on the east coast of England, in the county of Suffolk, Helmingham Hall and Gardens is a wonderful place to visit to soak up centuries of English history.
Helmingham Hall is home to the Tollemache family who have lived in Suffolk from shortly after the Norman Conquest. Their home for the first 400 years was at Bentley near Ipswich. In 1487, John Tollemache married Elizabeth Joyce, the heiress of Helmingham so they moved to Helmingham, pulled down the old hall and built Helmingham Hall as we see it today in its place. The house was completed in 1510 and it remains standing here today, surrounded by a deep moat, serene gardens and a deer park.

Came here on the suggestion of Nice of Positano. Thought I should let you know how I got here. Beautiful channel. It is hard to get going. I now read audio books but my lovely "Alice in Wonderland" gets few views while"Butchering a lamb NZ" style gets over 300,000! My; "Daffodils" the poem by Wordsworth is now over 26,000 which is mega for poetry but took a few years to get found. You need some drone shots as these seem to be the thing today as viewers love them. Good luck.
