- So I am really NOT a fan of the RS2 gameplay, too many automatics around and a lot of foliage and covered maps... However RS2 Talivsota is fantastic! You get a few automatics per team and everyone else just has bolt actions, a few tanks and amazing maps top off this free addon! My apologies for sounding so sick, hoping it's nothing bad!

Talvisota: Winter War is a community created full conversion mod, utilizing the majority of core gameplay mechanics from Rising Storm 2: Vietnam to explore an entirely different theater of war not often seen in video games.
To create a battlefield that feels different from the base game a lot of work has gone into both brand-new content and features, as well as aspects that veterans of the series will immediately recognize:

FEATURES - VEHICLES
When the Soviets crossed the border, they brought with them an armada of different armored vehicles, from light transport tractors to gargantuan heavy tanks. This mod features the following:
T-20 "Komsomolets" Armored Tractor
T-26 Light Tank
HT-130 Flamethrower Tank
T-28 Medium Tank
Drastically different from the helicopters of Rising Storm 2, these behemoths require players to work together to properly and effectively utilize. Single crewmen cannot drive and operate the turret at the same time!
Meanwhile Finnish players have a variety of handheld anti-tank weapons and traps, including the renowned Molotov Cocktail. To keep up with the mechanized Soviet transports, Finnish soldiers are issued Skis that can be used to quickly cross open terrain.

Häyhä didn't use scope so normal infrantry role is good enough
KP31, one of the finest Finnish submachineguns to be produced on earth.
Soviets tried producing with PPSH, but they were not near the performance of the Suomi KP31

I feel like this mod should be bought by the red orchestra, rising storm devs and turned into red orchestra 3, could add stuff from the continuation war as well
Red Orchestra 3 with "modern" graphics would be my absolute favorite game,
I want an Red Orchestra Ostfront 41-45 with modern graphics. This would be sick , in imagine all the uniforms in this game even Volkssturm Uniforms, NKWD etc

The bolt animation on that Mosin is so satisfying.

This was a great video. I'm really surprised it's not longer, this could have easily been double or triple the length. I couldn't believe how quickly the 13 minutes flew by!
Plus we really wanna see all those new guns!!! Can you show us a few more in the next video? Even if they totally suck balls, just use it for a second and toss that shit away.

if you don't like rs2, its def because you play too quickly, which was my issue. The people in the bushes can't kill you if you never let them see you to begin with. Play smarter not harder.

Have you seen the 1989 finnish movie about winterwar? TALVISOTA. If not, I highly recommend it!
I saw a movie called The Forgotten Soldier that was amazing, I think the Finnish name is Tuntematon Sotilas.
@@sam8404 Oh yeah. We have made three versions of it. :)The first one is from 1955 and it is considered a tradition to wach it on Finland independence day! I'm guessing the one you saw must have been the most recent from 2017. All of them are good though.
@@juholehtinen5800 yeah it was the 2017 one. I'm American so I love seeing films like that, or Stalingrad from 1991, since we never make films about those parts of the war.

@@masechullins140 I've seen multiple servers hosting Winter War maps. It's very popular right now. If you already bought RS2 why not check the mod out? It's better than the base game imo.

It's a sin that you deleted RS2 in the first place
Also the "under the weather you felt for one day" is the normal behavior of the thing we can't mention on youtube. Be careful as its known for it to sporadically hit you hard. Many people feel perfectly fine before it hits them hard and knocks them out the game of life
