Back in the day they were used for playing games. Today they are more used for decoration.

I hesitate to buy used plushies because I am never sure that they are really clean. I would hate to pass on some allergies or diseases to unsuspecting children.

That is why you always have to make sure they are clean before you list them. You could use a steamer - That kills everything!
