I’m thinking that the wood “cup” item you mentioned might be a mortar and is missing the pestle. Just a guess?? Puerto Rico traditionally uses wood for crushing plantains.
I was watching an older video where you picked up a silver piece fire to lousy lighting and patina that made it look brass. Just an FYI - if that happens again - I use very natural stiff to clean - toothpaste and a soft toothbrush for silver and ketchup for brass. Both work great and no yucky smells! 🙂 Blessings!
That little purple trinket box with the carved birds might be more valuable than to just throw in a grab bag. Abigail’s Artful Abode talked about these in a recent video of hers and she was very excited to find one. Love your videos!
I have a little red one. So cute. I think they're pretty common, but I don't know about value. Pier 1/World Market used to carry things like this fairly regularly.
Andi, yes, keep shopping when you're on a roll, great haul! Love the mid century mod painting, I think its a peacock! I'd love to know how you clean your brass items.
Thank you! For brass, I use a combo of vinegar and Bon Ami. I actually talk about it in this video: ua-cam.com/video/DNmFOUwGeaU/v-deo.htmlsi=B_p7t4RaNU6abKG2
2 things at 6:00. The green colored bowls and plates looked like maybe Russell Wright and the cup and saucer looked like a pretty antique transferware set. Couldn't tell for sure...too fast!
Yay! I see you moved either the camera or pink giraffe over a little bit to feel the white space on the left edge of the frame for us viewers. Looks more balanced. Btw, I'm new to your channel and have been binge watching for the past week or so. ☺️ Love your style!!! .
I’m having a huge inner struggle and maybe you could help. I have always been anti polish, but recently I have been watching the original tv show Dallas and I see tons of polished brass on it and it looks so amazing. I’m now torn on what to polish and what to leave original, and many of the pieces I’m listing up on my Etsy shop.
Well, I just destroyed a copper art deco box, so I’m going to start staying away completely from polishing. Might be the Brasso, but it’s made for copper and brass and it’s ruined everything I’ve touched.
Ohh no!!! I’m sorry! When I’ve polled people about what they prefer, most people say they like shiny brass, but patina on copper. I have never used Brasso because I can’t do chemical cleaners. I have the most luck with vinegar and Bon Ami (which a natural mild cleaner). I find most brass cleans up perfect, but sometimes it will have a finish on it that can come out mottled. Usually this is on candlestick holders so I’m always a bit nervous when I clean those.
@@AllPutTogether okay I’ll keep it low…. Also, story time - Andi my car stopped on the freeway right by an exit due to the heat…. 😳😳😳😳🥵I have a good car Toyota Highlander…… I hate this heat too. 🙋🏻♀️❤️
Don't laugh butttt....I keep picking up but not buying pottery made by children. I am certainly attracted to it. Possibly there is a place in design for Naive art in home decor.
I just discovered your channel and I love your taste and style. I have one request though, when you are showing your haul at the end, could you try not to move the items around so much and moving them back and forth on the screen? It makes me a little dizzy (I'm not kidding, I have vertigo). I really would appreciate it. Love your pottery fines the most.

Yes, I can totally see that now too! Thanks!
It’s nice to see that more and more people are enjoying your friendly, artistic and informative “treasure hunting” videos.
Completely unrelated to thrifting but you have incredibly beautiful and mesmerizing eyes!😍 And you’re probably tired of hearing it.😁😊
Haha thank you! :)

Ketchup stinks. Get it on your hands and then smell it. Awful!
Thank you! I will totally have to try toothpaste next time!
Love your videos! I don’t typically style my interior with mid century style but you are converting me lol
Yay! haha. I totally get influenced by UA-camrs too!
You're not sweating, you're glowing! 😊
Haha thanks!! ;)
Oh yes I love the MCM PAINTING WITH LIGHT
I’m going to see if the light can be saved. It’s just so cute!
The grab bag is so good, what a cool concept! 🤩 I wonder if I could implement this idea online somehow 😁
Yes, you totally could! You would find the cutest stuff for them.
Can't wait for the bedroom reveal! I love your style.
How much did you pay for the painting? I missed it.
I paid $35.
Thank you! I film it this week for reveal at the end of the month.

Thank you!! I will have to message Abigail and ask her about it. :)
Loved everything you bought and can’t wait to see the bedroom reveal ❤️
It’s coming the end of this month! I’m filming this week.
I loved the wall basket I’m always looking for one. Where is that warehouse sale …. I agree lol about resin…… ILOVE the quote about friends
The marble ashtray could also be used under a wine bottle on the table to catch condensation or drips.
Love this idea!
Such great finds. I don’t have mid century modern decor but I do love it.
That grab bag is amazing. Also the painting and the small brass bowl
Every time I check my both I want to buy another grab bag - it’s so dangerous!
Great finds. That little brass bowl. The art. Not surprised you grabbed that little grab bag.
Thanks for watching!
Great video and great finds. Enjoy your channel. 😊
Thanks so much!

Those sturdy wood napkin holders make a great way to corral iPads and create a centralized charging area. I use one and it works great.
That's a great idea! I’m totally going to do that - thanks for the tip!

I didn’t even notice the set! Thanks for bringing to my attention, now I know what to look for!
I bet that scoop went with a Sugar Bowl. We had a crystal and silver sugar bowl growing up I think my sister still has it that would be perfect❤
You’re right, it probably had a mate! I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for it from now on!
Another great video Andi. Loved the treasure hunting and the haul. Lovely items. ❤❤
Thank you!!
I think your minis are adorable 🥰
Have you ever used 'Howard's Renew a Finish'? It is a game changer for wood and a flipper.
Can’t believe you’d cut up that book on the Louvre to make junk throw away frame fillers! I received my elephant from India today-I love it!
Yay!! I'm so pleased you love it! Thanks again for your order.
I love you ! You are the best!
Aww thanks!! :)
Love the haul 🎉 watched in my lunch! Happy Friday
Thanks!!! ;)

Aww thank you so much for watching all my older videos - appreciate it!
Hi! Great finds! Tfs
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼bravo my dear friend ❤
Does that red painting remind anyone else of the new King Charles portrait? 😂
lol. Now that you point it out.
Oh my god! It really does 😂😂😂
OMG it does now! Too funnnnnny!! Haha

Where is this estate sale place? In Portland? Where??? Thanks!
It’s called PDX Estate Markwtplace. They do monthly sales. It’s in Tigard.
Andi how much do I set the stove to melt wax off of my brass candle sticks love……. It was 100 here in the mountains and 115 in the valley unhhhhh
I’ve heard to freeze brass to remove wax.
I wouldn’t go above 200 because the wax can start to smoke. It’s been so hot outside for us too - I hate it!

When we sell books for decoration what sell better mixes of size and colors or all the same? I know subject matter is very important
I usually sell one offs, so I think it’s more color and subject matter. But I thought about doing sets and planned to stick largely to neutrals.
Is there any dentist in the area having a half off sale ?
