How to do Cold Field bend of Pipe at Site/ Cold Field Bend kaise banaya jata h??

This video contain all step follow during bending of Pipe.
Inspect the bending of pipe :-
1. Inspect the pipe visually so that no dent mark, coating damage, Ovality or wrinkles on finished bend pipe.
2. Pass the "PULL THROUGH GAUGE" inside the pipe. Pull Through Gauging is 95% of ID.
3. Holiday Detection test done at 15 kV For 12.75 inch of bend pipe.
4. Measurement of pipe thickness test with Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge.
5. Degree Protector to Measure Bend angle of pipe.
6. Seam is in Neutral axis.
7. Check for Both end of 2 metre of is straight.
Bend Calculation :-
Total Pipe Length = 12.16 inch
Straight Length at both ends = 2 + 2 = 4.0 mtrs
Total bend Pipe Length B = 12.16 - 4.0 = 8.16 mtrs
Per Pull Length = 350 mm = 0.35 mtrs
No of Pull Done =22 no.
Degree of bend obtained per pull per foot =0.5 Degree.
Final bend angle = 11 Degree
As per standard Formula,
* Diameter of Curvature For Cold Field Bend = 360 * B / 3.14 * Sector Angle
* Maximum Degree of Bend Allowed 22° (Less Than) Total Degree of Bend Allowed 37.5°.
* Maximum Degree of Bend Done per Pull Per Foot 0.8 Degree (less than) Maximum Degree of Bend Permitted per Pull Per Foot (1.348 Degree For 12.75 D).
* Maximum Bend Angle = 28 *1.348 = 37.5° (Sector Angle)
* Radius Of Curvature Allowed = 30D = 30*0.32385 = 9.71 mtr.
* No. Of Pull = 8.16 / Pull Length +1.
