Hi, it's also possible to remove the mesh filter in part 2 without removing the plastic cover piece. The mesh filter just snaps out/snaps in using a little bit of pressure.
Not exactly, since they are 2 screws underneath this cover piece. What I suggest, if you do not want to take it off, just use a pressure washer and wash this small filter, while the filter in part 1 is not yet put back in place. Hope this helps !
Sorry to hear that. Do you mean the pins which hold the big front plastic cover ? If yes, all you need is a flat screwdriver and lift them up gently for the side, until you can get a grip of the center pin and lift it straight up. Hope this helps ! You can buy a special tool too, but it doable with a flat screwdriver.
I have seen a few of these videos and yours covered some things others didn’t pay attention to. Thanks!
Thank you for your time watching it and for your comment ! I appreciate it !

What did you use to clean the filter in part 2. Brake cleaner or air filter cleaner
Just plain water with a hose !
@@CarFan101_ Thank you
You're welcome my friend !
How do you remove pins in the second step? You didn’t show how, and I’ve broken two before I stopped. I was using a flat head screwdriver

my 2015 Audi Q5 3.0 TDI doesn't have the frontal filter (in the 2nd part of the video)
Probably, someone took it out and forgot to put it back in. You can buy at your Audi dealer, if you want it.
how did you clean the filters in the 2nd part ???
You have to take out the front section in order to get to the filter which you need to clean up only.
