Before this I hoped for a Cabal expansion and now I really want the next expansion to be Vex related.
I don't really know. The reason why i love the Vex so much is because i don't know sh*t about them. Which is also why Vault of Glass is my favourite raid and overall activity in Destiny. But at the same time, i want more content about the Vex.

Just a silly question: is it possible that the vex have not even been created yet, and they have been sent back in time?
Actually that's where there known to come from due to the stranger, she's from the future and asked us to help stop the vex. The reason vex are throughout time is because well they create alternate realities allowing them to affect the "past".

I think we will explore vex more after Final shape when the light/dark saga is over.

The vex, they were a species made out of light in the future, but the vex (the ones with machines) went to the future and gave them time travel, as the "new" vex went back on time to learn, Crota opened its ascendant realm to them, where like Toland, the got atracted to it to learn, but they got corrupted and learned the thingy of the swords, and the story repeats itself over and over again.

if you think about it they're a hyper-intelligent 4th interdementional biomechanic automatons. Think of it this way: in the third dimension, you can move in any which way. In theory, the forth dimension revolves around time, where all things are past, present, and future. Via the forth dimension, you can traverse in any direction, meaning you could build something in the present and it would've existed in the past. This also explains the creation of alternate timelines. these timelines are different dimensions where you could lift your foot up and, in an extreme case start a war.
You make my want to play destiny and find lore for myself because your vids are great keep up the work

Also I just got deeper into the video, if Vex were very different before entering the ascendant realm does that mean they could have been more friendly? Not like full on friendly but you know, a bit less aggressive.
Essentially they just fuck around with Quantum physics... Great video, and The Legend of Zelda music goes surprisingly well with Destiny

What i really want is another vex raid.
A great vex raid boss would be that it learns from you so you cant attack it the same way twice, so basically its invulnerable and you have to find a way to take him down to attack him so how you would do this is some sort of relic, but every time after you take him down the relic changes so its more difficult to find and you must learn how to use it quick. Another thing is that after each time you down him you have to damage him a different way (example: you shoot him with rockets the first time so the second time if you shoot him with rockets he will be able to block them) if you run out of weapon types/abilities to attack him with you have lost.

I think the reason why the stranger keeps coming back to send us places is because she's trying 2 change the singular point in history that decided how the future is and every time she comes back is because her last idea didn't work

From what I understand from my own research on the Vex, either we already lost based on destiny(like time not the game) or we have an infinite amount of chances of winning/losing/anything/nothing against them due to multiverse theory.
They work history as they see fit the ruins appeared in the sol system because the traveler came so they went back and and "planted" the structures in sol system to try to gain power from the traveler that they learned from the hive. At least that's my theory so your video make perfect since to me really hard to explain. Great video.

A friend of mine told me about this theory of us having an endless war with the vex before taken king came out. which made my guardian feel useless because we're just going to fight forever lol

The vex are very complex. I guess that's why they are my favorite enemy in the destiny lore. The only thing I ponder on is if the Main axis mind or the Queen mind if we think of it in the insect spectrum of things, what if it was human or a single being that the traveller first met, and it showed he or she time travel and gave them a vast knowledge to create these machines we call the vex.
Maybe we end up creating the vex. But anything is possible when you bring in "easy to comprehend" time travel.

This is deep.Btw now I think that the vex can't do anything to Guardians in the vault because of Kabbir and the creation of the shield that we use in the templar fight.In a grimoire card he says that with this creation he made a hole into the Vault.Its the hole that let's the light in

So in short the ultimate artificial partially organic creature that's a time-space colonists that can transport information and themselves thru time and space that can simulate any outcome not even in seconds but the moment they discover you acting as a whole in one big massive mind pretty much watching us outside of time itself so the only question that's left is "when and how did they came to be ?". ... talk about an over powered species but its really interesting , really love your lore by the way. one of the reasons I just love destiny and the deep story

So basically they are the ultimate movie producers. Reality is a movie and they are the editors that can snip and trim the movie however they want, whenever they want.

I'm guessing you were trying to say that the history of the vex is like a web. parallel timelines spread out and merge from a center that is both the beginning and end in an endless loop. their past can possibly by our future. like spiders in a web. kill one spider but there are hundreds more sealed away in eggs. we killed one egg of spiders, there could be more. more importantly, who and where's the bigger spider? I hope I cleared up some stuff just a little. lol

What if when you kill a vex goblin , the vex can go back in time to tell the goblins to not make that mistake and get killed so the goblin avoids the attack of the guardian and is prevented from being killed. Some time later the same goblin is assigned an assault on Mars, the goblin steps in and gets killed by the same guardian from before, which didn't kill him cause he was alive until now because the vex warned him so we could be killing the same goblin over and over and we don't even know it.
