Impressions after driving a panel van for a year｜Bug-truck PANEL VAN｜Car camping

One year has passed since the panel van was delivered. I would like to introduce my current vehicle along with my impressions from driving it over the past year.

What was the main reason you decided on a panel van?
→I felt that the car matched my style and I liked the look.
Is there anything too much about this?
→I would like to try a little harder on the slopes, but there is nothing I can do about it because of the performance of the car itself.
How much is the total?
→The price has changed between when I purchased it and now, so I won't say the specific amount. Please see the details on Car Factory Turbo's homepage.
I stand out, but can I talk to you?
→It's a car that stands out, so people will talk to you about it. I park my car in an inconspicuous place as much as possible.
Don't you get hit with driving?
→It won't come as a surprise. Even if someone comes up behind you, they will quickly keep their distance. Maybe they understand that it's a car that can't go fast, or maybe it's because panel vans are square, so if you're right behind them, you can't see what's ahead.
Isn't it small inside the car?
→It's a light car, so it's small, but it's enough for my solo travel style.
Is it too small for two people?
→There are owners who travel comfortably with two people, I think it depends on the style of travel. I'm used to traveling solo, so I think it feels cramped when there are two of us.
Is there a pop-up roof?
→There is currently no pop-up roof option. I think they are prioritizing a style that allows them to carry a lot of luggage on the carrier.
Is an FF heater necessary?
→It may not be necessary if you live in a warm region and do not travel to snowy areas. Of course, it's convenient to have, and I also use it to dry wet towels and as a dryer.
I don't have an air conditioner, but can I sleep in my car in the summer?
→In the summer, I try to stay in my car at high altitudes without going against nature. If an ultra-compact, power-saving cooler is developed and sold in the future, this is what I would like to do.
How's the fuel consumption?
→The average speed was 12.9km/L during 2DW driving. Fuel efficiency is poor compared to modern passenger cars.
Have you ever had any trouble?
→It was difficult until I got used to the unique timing of refueling for light trucks, which is unique to light trucks.
Would you recommend Panel Van to others?
→ Personally, I would recommend it because I drive a panel van, but it's a camper, a light camper, and even a bug truck, so it's quite a niche car. Since this is not a cheap purchase, we recommend that you experience the vehicle for yourself at an event or other event before considering it carefully so that you do not regret the purchase.

今回はじっくりとパネルバンのエクステリア、インテリアを拝見しましたが、以前からラダーの細さが気になっていましたが、そういうことだったのですね🤔
あとー、洗車時のルーフラックの下の車体のルーフを洗うの大変じゃないですか？
自分はルーフキャリアの下に手を突っ込んで、ワックスはスプレーワックスにしています。
丸目のライトはハロゲンの方がアンティーク感もあり好きです😊　ライトに着いた雪とかもハロゲンなら溶けますからね👍
内装も山小屋のログハウスみたくてかっこいいです！
パネルバンがあることで、人生が楽しくなりますね😁

リアドアあげて設営やテーブル出した後にキャリアにあがりたい場面があるのでこのラダーのスタイルが私は便利です。キャリアの下の掃除は確かに面倒ですね、私は高圧洗浄した後に柄の長いモップのようなのでワックスかけてます☺

パネルバンのキャンピングカーって収納が少ないイメージでしたがかなりの量を収納できて羨ましいです。

ベッドした収納を使えばかなり収納できます、因みに今までの私の旅では荷物少ないのでベッド下を使わずに旅できてます。あとキャンプ道具など現地でしか使わないものは全てルーフキャリアに載せてます☺
