I love there isn't extra chatter - instructions are clear, concise and move at a great pace. Nice voice for this type of media too! Lovely project. Thanks for sharing!
I made this early this year and it turned out really well. Your videos really break down every pattern, thanks for making it easy for people to understand. God bless you.
Very much enjoy the style of this tutorial over the majority of them. Very clear directions and you show the stitches nice and slow so that it’s easy to follow. I love this project and it’s now my go to crochet hat pattern. Thank You!!!
I have this wool (different shade) and love it but wasn't sure what to do with it as I'm a beginner at crochet, I actually thought it was going to be too thin to make a hat, now I may give it a try, hopefully it's beginner friendly for me! 😊....tfs 👌
What a beautiful hat this is Brittany thank you for your lovely design and very clear tutorial I made my hat in a pastel multicolour yarn and I love it 😊Amanda xx
Hi Cindy. I know, right! I spend a good amount on my interchangeable knitting needles but at least it’s a set that allows for many different sizes and lengths. But these hooks, as lovely as they are, are just too expensive for me. As you say, it’s only 1 hook. If I ever got one I wouldn’t know what size to pick! 😊
Yes, Thea, you can justify a whole set of needles or hooks for that kind of price, but just for one, is not in my budget and never will be, and I would assume that's the same for most people. If only we were rich instead of beautiful as the saying goes, right, Thea? Hahahahaha. Have a wonderful week.
Hi Brittany. If you could please make a video tutorial on the sizing of the hat, would be helpful. Your videos are helpful but I’m not able to figure out how many chains and rows I should make. If you could tell that such and such hat would fit an adult measuring 22-24 inches crown to base or something like that. That way I can get an idea. Thanks
I just love this hat,but I do a magic ring so I don't have an open ring on top of my hat.its a beautiful gorgeous hat. I thank you so much again and again. Kay
This looks so cute and not hard! I’m making hats for two college students, but the yarn I have to use is Lion Brand Scarfie yarn. Is there any chance you think it might still work? It’s a 5 weight. I wonder if I go down a hook size or two if that will help keep the size pretty similar. I know it won’t be lacy, but that’s okay. Thanks!
Brittany, lovely hat pattern! I am so in love with the quality of your camera. May I ask what kind it is. It is so clear! Thank you for the great tutorial. Cheers!
If I am using two different coloured yarns simultaneously, how do I alter the rows? Cause when I made the hat, it had a boxish square look on the top instead of the curve descending down. Kindly please guide. Thanks in advance.
Help! When I go to do the second row of cluster stitches there is no “chain created” when I work in between the stitches. They are just clusters and when I would go to the 3rd row of clusters I don’t have anything to stitch into. I hope this makes sense?
I love this hat and have made it twice but it was so big both times. The second time I made it I used a smaller hook and it is still huge. what can I do?
After i finished the double crochet and started the cluster my hat is not coming in down direction its going in circle is it right if not plss tell the solution 🙏
It sounds like your clusters may be taller than mine and that's making it "take longer" to start curling upward. Check the gauge in the pattern and measure yours to make sure it matches. If you measure more stitches per inch as I would expect, you'll need to drop down a hook size or two until the gauge matches. If not, it'll keep getting bigger and may not fit properly.
@@bhookedcrochet thank you but actually i did the 4th round wrong so it was becoming bigger i recreated it and now moving to clusters thanks. Glad u helped😊
I agree totally with Diana Wood in all that she said and furthermore it's so nice to follow the tutor's hands without really bright and garish nail polish marring the view. A pleasure to watch and to follow. Only problem for me is that I live in the UK and am unable to buy this wool here. Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase online, even if I have to pay more for postage. Thank you in advance to anyone who answers :).
Sounds like your gauge may be off. Did you take a measurement and compare it to the gauge in the pattern? If you count fewer stitches per inch, try dropping down a hook size and see if that helps 👍
The pattern was written for Patons Lace Sequin yarn which has been discontinued. This one is on the list for a redesign so I can find a suitable substitution.
Hi Jan. There was a link on her website where the pattern is written out for where to buy this yarn. I had checked it out to see what weight number this yarn was (it's a fine #2 by the way) and it gave all the information there. I think this is what you wanted to know: Ball Size: 70g / 2.5 oz, 314 meters / 344 yards. I hope this helps you.
I'm in the same boat, Jan. I live in a very rural area and my only place to buy yarn is Wal-Mart, so I have to order online as well. I'm glad I could help you out. Have a great week.

Very pretty hat! Love your clear and concise instruction. I haven’t seen this yarn before. Really beautiful as is your Furls hook! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Thea. I agree with you that the hook is beautiful, but then it should be at $66 for just one hook!

Great tutorial. I think I need to make this hat to go along with the red scarf in am making. (Same yarn only red with a # 5 hook).

So amazingly beautiful fairy enchanted pretty, can’t wait to make this, thank you , I’m subscribing!
I'm making this hat, because I have a small head, even thro it look's bigger then it really is, so I have to make the band smaller
For you who think the hat is to large eliminate the last increase. Hope that helps.
yes it was too big
I made this and it came out beautiful but much much smaller than expected
Does anyone know if there's a matching scarf? I haven't found it if there is.
I love this pattern, but it is way to big. Can I reduce the amount of double crochet I start with?
love it
A new stitch to try! It looks like working in the back bar makes it very stretchy, or is it that particular yarn that makes it so? Thank you.
I love this hat and have made it twice but it was so big both times. The second time I made it I used a smaller hook and it is still huge. what can I do?
Try stopping the increases sooner. I'm going to stop at round 6 amd see how big it turns out.
Hello, how can i make this hat with horizontal and vertical sizes please?

Holy cow, this hat turn's out so big, anyone having problem too?
I was thinking this hook size seemed humongous for the yarn weight. 😮
Mine is really big too.
mine is too big@@amayuk9016
Me too, I'm going to try stopping the increases at round 6 instead of 9.
@@DriCharo there is no increase in rows 7-8-9. Same stitch counts for all 3 rows as row 6.
How do I convert the pattern to a worsted weight count?
This yarn is not available to see for me in Europe, what weight/thickness is it?
This yarn is a #2 fine weight which is a 4-ply yarn 👍

Very nice but diffcult to make ❤
What kind of yarn and how much
The pattern was written for Patons Lace Sequin yarn which has been discontinued. This one is on the list for a redesign so I can find a suitable substitution.
WHAT IS THE SIZE ?
Very pretty! How many yards are there in the ball of yarn you used?

Ciao scusa la domanda quante maglie alte ahi fatto e quanto sarebbe la lunghezza del berretto ti ringrazio se rispondi
can you tell me what size yarn you used?
It's a #2 yarn
This is lovely. I can't seem to get hold of this yarn in the UK. Can anyone suggest an alternative?
I'm in the UK and I'm going to use King Cole Galaxy. You can get it from Wool Warehouse. I hope that helps x
That's where I get most of my yarn, thank you so much for your reply!
Will you still be using a size 6.5mm hook?
Patons Lace is sold by JoAnn's. Go to patonsyarns.com to find many colors. I am making one that is a red scarf with the sequins.
👍👏🌷
Can u provide this video in hindi
Great tutorial but hat is way.......too large.
Hat doesn’t fit. It bacame small size. How to increase stich
Why does it look so big
Mine turned out way too big. Disappointed.
Your channel is not easy to follow, I will share this negative review I’m sorry bb
Have a blessed evening b
Waste of time, very hard to follow. Your yarn is too fine and photography isn’t close enough.
