I have the mishimoto kit on mine. Had it about 2 years. As far as functionality it seems to be very good. When I empty the cans it’s almost unbelievable what is in there. I did this before any upgrades just to be safe. The only other upgrade is the borla exhaust, which in my opinion sounds so good on this car. I didn’t want a Honda ricer sound and it definitely isn’t that.
About to start heading the same direction as your build soon. Your videos are great to help me get there. Thanks

Thank you for the feedback man! I’ve been contemplating the exhaust set up for a while now but I’m on your side, I don’t want it to sound like a ricer. With all the mods I have, I’m loving this car. It’s fast, it’s nice, it gets great gas mileage... no complaints on my end. But I’ll be sure to keep uploading more videos 👍

FYI - there's 1 more PCV valve that's not as easy to change. It's inside the valve cover. Based on how its designed, that to me is the real PCV valve. The rest of the valves/tubing on top are part of the system, but the actual PCV is not readily accessible. GM did the same thing on the LNF 2.0

Hey man, thanks for the great video. Quick question though, do you know how to remove the pcv tube that connects from the pcv valve to the turbo? I was able to get the tube off from the pcv valve, but cant seem to get the metal end of it off from the turbo. Does it need a special tool? Or just a really hard pull? I see you put your catch can tubes in replace for the original pcv valve to turbo tube but im trying to disconnect the whole tube.

Just got done doing it myself took me over an hour to remove the small pvc valve connector hose, oil catch can installed, had to remove I had a valve cover gasket leak didn’t want the dealer to void my warranty lol you never know, thing is that they replaced the old hose with a new one that’s when I ran into the hose issue, thanks for the info!

I replaced mine today. Could not get the old one off without having to break it off. Why does AC Delco/Cadillac design them that way? Ridiculous. But now my engine is breathing nicely (I changed the oil at the same time). 2013 ATS 2.0 Performance with 107K miles. Runs like a new engine. Thanks for the very helpful video.

Great tut. bro! I did a lot of research and spoke with a hand full of folks since I did mine. I don't think you can go wrong with either ZZP or Mish or even a mocked up ebay can. The general consensus is that we have Direct Injection (fuel sprayed under valve) engines and we can't eliminate carbon buildup so catch cans help but will only slow down the buildup process. At 70k miles now, I sometimes still get boost problems despite having the CCV and PCV side catch cans. This means my valves are already covered with carbon which explains the spark knock I've been getting. Ultimately, I'll have to remove the manifold and have it scrubbed or blasted. Some new D.I. engines are now being built with TWO fuel injectors (above and below the valve) to eliminate carbon buildup on the valve.
