What a wonderful tutorial! You speak at the perfect rate of speed so it’s easy to knit along with you and follow your instructions. Thank you; this video has been very helpful.
Thank you so much for sharing! I am using this on the 27 Color Snood. I knit one row of Color A, one row with Color B, and then knit 5 rows using Main Color C, and then continue repeating these 7 rows. Should I use this technique only when I knit the first row of the Main Color C, and then omit the technique for the next 4 rows of Main Color C, and then use the technique again when I stripe one row with Color A and again for one row of Color B? Thank you for any suggestions.
How do I keep track of the number of rounds if it keeps shifting by one? So say I have 20 rounds alternating colors, that means I will have shifted by 20 stitches? Thank you for this!
@@JulieBarich Hey there! You can just move the stitch marker as you begin each new color to mark the beginning of the next round. Or you can count the stripes-each completed stripe is a round. Shifting the marker one stitch to the left won’t affect the stripes as you’re knitting in a spiral when you knit in the round. Hope this helps! 😊
@@flynnknit ok so then 20 rows later I would be shifted by 20 stitches and that’s where I would start my decreases. Not 20 rounds from where I cast on? This would add some height, wouldn’t it? Guessing 1/2 round but not sure if my Math is right. Sorry for all the questions. Just don’t want to get 20 rounds in and mess up 😂

Hi there! I’ve only used this method with single stripes, but you could definitely experiment in the way you’re describing! 🤗🧶
Thank you for your reply. I will give it a try!
You are a thrower like me, learned this way 60 years ago! ❤

@@JulieBarich Any extra height would def depend on what weight of yarn you’re using. 😊 I think once you get started it will make more sense. 😊
Awesome .I love your UA-cam Channel.
Perfect tutorial. Thank you
Is there a different method of jogless knit when you are decreasing for a hat , where the marker does not shift ?
Curious, Is there a specific reason why you choose to remove the marker then replace it after completing the jog-fix? thank you
She said she does it tgat way because this mothod shifts the beginning of the round forward by one stitch.. listen again at the beginning...,
