Whew, this was intense. I liked how the Pinball features were incorporated. Particularly how each marble lost just goes to the other side. The first time I saw the tic-tac-toe slot machine, I thought it was going to be a merging thing. Honestly, having it be a tic-tac-toe board makes it a)more tense and b)less cluttered on the screen. Giving the Major Attack function a high chance of failure gives it more impact when it _does_ land.

In this game, marbles have to go through the arena and attack by accumulating points. section 1: the points circle (unlock: now) This is an area for marbles to get points for their attack. section 2: level up (unlock: 2 minutes) Going inside the loop in the pointed direction levels up the marble by 1. Since when marble collides with the bumper, it gets points based on its level. section 3: reducer (unlock: 4 minutes) Going inside this cannon will reduce opponent’s points for its attack, the number of shots are based of the marble’s level. section 4: slot machine (part 1) (unlock: now) Marbles can access the slot machine by entering through the top of the core, there are initially 2 weapons in there (missile and laser Gatling), in order for the weapon to activate, the marble playing this must get a match of 3. section 5: slot machine (part 2) (unlock: 6 minutes) With a new upgrade, more items are included. The machine will first pick 6 items that will appear as an option. (5 types of items, 4 for each) The items will shuffle again every 6 uses. They are: 1. laser Gatling (shoots a number of laser bullets based on the points the corresponding team of the marble gets) 2. missile (launches a number of missiles which correspond to the team of the player) 3. repair (shoots a healing beam to the core at the team’s core where the player belongs. The number on the healing is taken from the team’s points) 4. nuke (launches a huge ball the the opposite team, generating a huge explosion. The power is varies directly to the points of the attacker) 5. reflective shield (I’m surprised how it doesn’t even been activated for once! Wow! Therefore, I still don’t know how it works :p) To activate any of these items, the marble should just play a tic-tac-toe here. (winning condition: get a match of 3 in any row, column or diagonal) It is possible that a marble can gets a match 3 for more than once, then multiple items can activate at once. The number of times an item gets activated depends on how many corresponding item got matched in a row, column and diagonal. And yeah, the core has its own health. Not as fragile as if 1 hit could easily destroy it. Both teams +1 marble every minute.
imo I think it's better to figure out the mechanics as you watch through the video, instead of immediately scrolling down the comments to understand how it works instantly

Honestly, it probably wouldn't have been any more interesting/impactful than the 2-nuke shot. Which is a shame, because getting multiple of any attack/defense feels like it should've synergized.

I love these 1v1 fights enough that I went back and watched a few more. I can feel engaged siding with a particular team, and there's several mechanics to keep track of like who's holding a high value ball, what the lineup for the slots are- very good stuff, really. Wish you the best of luck.
I want to SCREEEAAAMM!!!! mikan this is another banger that got me hyped, though at the wrong time. Phenomenal!!! We missed the shield powerup though which I was curious about. If both teams got more repairs, then this would've been a longer video and if shield power was demonstrated even longer. Also I was pretty much on the edge of my seat as I saw both teams getting intense gains in ammo but then even more thrills when I saw red totally nerfing blue. Even after red fired a big blow, blue seemed to remain and then repair while they have quite some of their attack decisions lined up as well. It was just that one red decision that lead to the demise of blue.
I'll be fair, maybe having brightness define health of an object, when it is the primary core, *isn't* a good idea - maybe instead (starting at top right) the pieces in your shape define health, and after all pieces are gone, THEN have the remaining circle explode outwards. Or have a flashing outline for when it reaches a critical point. Did like the ending of just having things proceed to fall off the screen - that one was new.
Theres always one element of these that seems to throw the balance off significantly. In this its the limit to how many balls can be in the roulette at one time. Considering how long some of them took to complete the connect 3 it keeps some of thier balls out of play for a REALLY long time, and if one whole team gets more than two in a row its practically a death sentence.

Still an entertaining idea, but maybe have each side have its own set of slots and trigger for reselecting the tiles?
